mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānandaṁ mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya iśvaram

Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

So today we are continuing from the compilation of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya book ,part-2. And the chapter is entitled as:

Working through the body of Sanātana Gosvāmī, Part 2

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.87

haridāsake sākṣya māniyā prabhukarttṛka tāṅhāke svāyattīkṛta sanātana-dehera rakṣaṇābekṣaṇa-bhārārpaṇaḥ—

haridāse kahe prabhu,—“śuna, haridāsa
parera dravya iṅho cāhena karite vināśa

Translation: Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu then said to Haridāsa Ṭhākura, “My dear Haridāsa, please hear Me. This gentleman wants to destroy another’s property.

Jayapatākā Swami: Since Sanātana Gosvāmī wanted to commit suicide instead of offering his body to Lord Caitanya, Lord Caitanya was telling Haridāsa Ṭhākura, that this gentlemen wants to destroy another’s property, meaning that once we surrender to Kṛṣṇa our body belongs to Kṛṣṇa and we have no right to destroy it.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.88

parera sthāpya dravya keha nā khāya, vilāya
niṣedhiha iṅhāre,—yena nā kare anyāya”

Translation: “One who is entrusted with another’s property does not distribute it or use it for his own purposes. Therefore, tell him not to do such an unlawful thing.”

Jayapatākā Swami: So, indirectly Lord Caitanya is telling Sanātana Gosvāmī not to misuse another person's property, not to misuse his body.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.89

haridāsera jīva-śikṣā,—adhokṣaja prabhura aprākṛta hṛdayagata kṛṣṇendriya-tarpaṇecchāra ānugatyei baddha-jīvera phalgu-ahaṅkāra-tyāga karttavyatāḥ—

haridāsa kahe,—“mithyā abhimāna kari
tomāra gambhīra hṛdaya bujhite nā pāri

Translation: Haridāsa Ṭhākura replied, “We are falsely proud of our capabilities. Actually we cannot understand Your deep intentions.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.90

kon kon kārya tumi kara kon dvāre
tumi nā jānāile keha jānite nā pāre

Translation: “Unless You inform us, we cannot understand what Your purpose is or what You want to do through whom.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.91

sanātanera prabhu-kṛpālābha-saubhāgya-varṇanapūrvaka haridāsera prabhu-stutiḥ—

etādṛśa tumi iṅhāre kariyācha aṅgīkāra
eta saubhāgya ihāṅ nā haya kāhāra”

Translation: “My dear Sir, since You, a great personality, have accepted Sanātana Gosvāmī, he is greatly fortunate; no one can be as fortunate as he.”

Jayapatākā Swami: Haridāsa Ṭhākura was seeing the great fortune of Sanātana Gosvāmī that Lord Caitanya accepted the body of Sanātana Gosvāmī as His property. And that he was going to use it for achieving different goals. Therefore he did not want Sanātana Gosvāmī to destroy the body.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.92

ubhayake āliṅganapūrvaka prabhura prasthānaḥ—

tabe mahāprabhu kari’ duṅhāre āliṅgana
‘madhyāhna’ karite uṭhi’ karilā gamana

Translation: Thus Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu embraced both Haridāsa Ṭhākura and Sanātana Gosvāmī and then got up and left to perform His noon duties.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, by embracing both Haridāsa Ṭhākura and Sanātana Gosvāmī, He was showing great mercy to both. We can see that He had a loving relationship with both of his associates. But as a guru He was instructing them what was right to do and what was wrong to do.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.93

haridāsakarttṛka sanātanera saubhāgya varṇanaḥ—

sanātane kahe haridāsa kari’ āliṅgana
“tomāra bhāgyera sīmā nā yāya kathana

Translation: “My dear Sanātana,” Haridāsa Ṭhākura said, embracing him, “no one can find the limits of your good fortune.

Jayapatākā Swami: Sanātana Gosvāmī he has been accepted by Lord Caitanya, and Lord Caitanya declared that He intended to use his body for different spiritual goals. So, Haridāsa Ṭhākura was saying there is no limit for your good fortune and he embraced Sanātana Gosvāmī.

Srī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.94

śrī-sanātanatanu prabhurai svāyattīkṛta dhanaḥ—

tomāra deha kahena prabhu ‘mora nija-dhana’
tomā-sama bhāgyavān nāhi kona jana

Translation: “Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu has accepted your body as His own property. Therefore no one can equal you in good fortune.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, Haridāsa Ṭhākura is having this transcendental realization of the great good fortune of Sanātana Gosvāmī.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 4.95

māthura-maṇḍale sanātana-tanudvāre prabhura caturvidha mano’bhīṣṭa sampādanaḥ—

nija-dehe ye kārya nā pārena karite
se kārya karāibe tomā, seha mathurāte

Translation: “What Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu cannot do with His personal body He wants to do through you, and He wants to do it in Mathurā.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, like this Lord Caitanya being ordered by His mother to stay in Jagannātha Purī, He could not personally find all the hidden tirthas in Mathurā or Vṛndāvana. He was going to do that using the transcendental body of Sanātana Gosvāmī. Since He had accepted the body of Sanātana Gosvāmī as His transcendental treasure, Haridāsa Ṭhākura was revealing that no one can equal the great mercy that Sanātana Gosvāmī had received.
