Without you Prabhupāda, there was no meaning to life, no knowledge, no pleasure, only confusion and strife. Now there’s real singing and dancing each day. There’s real purpose in life to show others the way. Please allow us to follow and simply repeat whatever you said without changing the beat. Please give us your strength to resist all temptations and to do as you did, create spiritual sensations. This can only be done if we remain loyal to you. Let your instructions, your mood and example shine through. Please bless us, dear father, best friends, only guides. We have no place to go, nowhere to hide. Keep us entangled in your ISKCON society. Give us more and more service to your geniuses. So there’s one principle that Śrīva Prabhupāda that is applicable in our spiritual life and that is that whatever we accept, we should not again reject.

Just like when Śrīla Prabhupāda taught us how to worship the deities when one stands instead and he did not want that center to again be reduced. And in this way the bliss, the ever expanding bliss goes on increasing pure devotional service. So all of the things that were doing when Shiva Baba was here, they are still going on and we should not change them or reduce them in any way. And in this way we ensure that dear most desire will be fulfilled and that is that this Kṛṣṇa Consciousness movement should not diminish in any way. Śrīla Prabhupāda said, even we cannot expand, at least maintain what I have given you. So for myself I would just like to say, Śrīla Prabhupāda, I am not an intimate associate. I have never had very much personal training from him.

Neither did I get any direct explicit instruction as to some particular service that I could render. But I can honestly say that by accepting the shelter of the devotees who have had so many instructions in Śrīla Prabhupāda and therefore know so intimately what Śrīla Prabhupāda wants, how he wants things done and how he feels about everything. Then I feel no regret at not having been so close to me physically. But of course I always pray that next lifetime I can do that so sweet beyond my conception. But so many times we have felt the embrace of Śrī Prabhupāda. While I don’t think any time giving someone a book, saying the right thing and the person taking the book.

So many times we have felt Śrīla Prabhupāda’s embrace in this way or repeating some word or some story that he has told and watching the magic of that, the mystic potency of that sound vibration as it catches the heart of a magician’s soul and actually attracts him, draws him like a magnet to devotional service. So I just would like to pray to Śrīla Prabhupāda that he will always. He will never kick me away despite my seeming ingratitude many times and that I can become grateful to him. Once he said if someone gives you something very nice, the way to get more of it is to appreciate what you have been given. And the more you appreciate what you have been given then the more chance it is that you will get more. So we are all looking for the mercy of Śrīla Talcado.

We do not want to reject that mercy. And in that way we are praying that he will give us more and more mercy, more and more shelter. Because without that it is not possible to live for another moment.

Always thinking that how the fallen soul can be given. I remember one incident in Bombay. That time I happened to be Rappa’s personal servant. First come back to downtown Bombay and there I was riding in a taxi. And Lord Chatri Mahāprabhu said that to whomever you wish you give Kṛṣṇa Desh. So I have no other personal qualification. This I just try to do that. So whatever I mean, I used to have to say hi Kṛṣṇa. So I asked the taxi driver. So I repeated second time, third time, fourth time, fifth time I decided unless he will stay Hare Kṛṣṇa, I will go on and trust him. So many times I sat and he became very angry. And he said that why I should see Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Then I came back, I told the story with Prabhupāda and Prabhupāda was so happy that yes sir, a Prabhupāda, whenever we tell him anything was preaching. He used to become so pleased. I remember that the ones his joint Nation at New Music was so pleased by having that publication. He was so happy.

His only business was, you know how his father soul those who are suffering in this world can be delivered. So far I was busy in teaching, chanting, translating homes, whatever Prabhupāda used to do, it used to be educational. He never cared for his personal compulse. He invited me to go to a during his last days I happened to.

But if you go and preach among them if you give them Kṛṣṇa conscience then Kṛṣṇa will be very peaceful. Why I am mentioning this incident? Because nobody used to think of everyone. Because he was un on spiritual platform. He was not on material platform like I am. He was always thinking that all the final souls can be driven. Finding there was no distinction that one is a Hindu or Muslim or Christian, white, black. He wanted that everyone should take to the Kṛṣṇa conscious. And without taking to this Kṛṣṇa conscious we can see that there was no Veda there. There is no way that you can.

I know there is an incident in 1977 launch I requested my GBC News Raman Swami that I like to be known for servant for some time at.

So this morning I trouble him Sorry very kindly he represented my case that he can be but somehow all others my request was not approved. Then later and after some time I became Prabhupāda servant. He did good Generally I used to battle with Prabhupāda In Hindi Prabhupāda is not good but very good. So I was very much impressed Though it was not so. I didn’t feel that my movie was so nice. But Prabhupāda so great, so merciful, so magnanimous I am no worse to describe his greatness. He used to encourage everyone. Like I have seen that there are so many sadhus india if some richer man goes to them they will take nice care of him. They will providing nice facilities.

But if someone poor like myself will go to them they won’t bother even to talk to them. So Prabhupāda doesn’t matter whether one is a poor or rich, white, black, brown. But if he is interested in Kṛṣṇa conscious if he wants to know about Kṛṣṇa Prabhupāda Another incident in Māyāpur when Prabhupāda was pleased by my cooking. I don’t know it was his place only then he was liking my cooking. He said look now you won’t teach the student very well and you will move on. As I said now he’s been a very low wise. Now I hope live in this material world. And until I live in this world you should cook on me and you should stay with me. This I told actually I never thought of Dover believers.

I never thought one mentioned that when I got heart attack and went to America I met one astrologer there and he told me that if you will survive from the heart attack then you will live 20 years here. And I thought now proper at least to give that 40 years. I never thought that proper is going to leave us. No one told me that now I won’t leave. It was in March 1977 and November 1977. He is ranked this letter. He knew that I want to stay in this particular world more very long. From who path how we can qualify him? Such a great personality I never saw in my life. I came in thought with so many sadhus, so many big sadhus. But no one can be compared in this one nation of God.

So in that sense, it just woke me up to how many people are there out there that actually are very close to becoming Kṛṣṇa Karma, God.

While we was looking at that book somebody had put that book down on that cushion in order to stand up and dance for the kirkman. Everyone had stood up down and Prabhupāda is looking at that book and the whole room became deadly finer.

Prabhupāda said pick up the book.

The book was picked up.

So a little while ago we saw one book.

So from this we can understand that Prabhupāda’s books are actually deities. Actually they’re worshipable. We should not mistreat them but we can worship them. Because we have taken a Raj’s translation.

So I opened the door always inside I saw Rādhā Kṛṣṇa, Rādhā Rana Pandenon. I went many days there and saw the devotees, talked to them. But I couldn’t make out how these young boys had. And especially when living together in one temple. English is not possible. Once the youth are still. Once they’re living a spiritual life. And Brahmachari. And Brahmachari. How they’re leading together. Then after going more for some time and listening for them. I found they are forcing me. You must stay here. You must stay here. Say what? Okay. You know this P. Master. He comes from northern India. He’s coming from Bengal. And he’s also coming from Calcutta. As you know that he also come from Calcutta. We are spreading your message. Why don’t you do that? So boy was trying to avoid.

But by the again saying so he said all right, if you like anytime. You can come anytime here and stay here. So I said all right. But I always used to come and go come nail station. So one day I just said. And the next day they asked me overnight I saw everything. I said, I want to see the whole day how you spend. So the whole day they took me out. What they do daily that you go out at that time in London? They go almost from morning after doing joppa. They go out after you hike after doing something for three hours. Then go and hold any competence whole day. Even at night. We just come for a shorter than half an hour to take Prusadam breakfast. Then again we come take medio Prusadam. Then again they will come.

Then they take shower and then again they will go and whole day the training of sports team which could be very dangerous. One will fall down any moment. Just like Chikali Sarkas or Leicester Square customi, nightclubs and Kiki stuff. All the things that they are enormous about. But it is so blissful that staying with the devotees they forget. Sometimes they don’t feel like coming back to take Pusha. To take morning pusha or midday pusha or in evening pusha. They go on and on. Sometimes maybe sometimes they are chased by the police when they run away, just like playing hide and seek with the others. And they again start chanting. So I just feel that these boys are so pure. And also they are. You know, they couldn’t think before.

So next day they asked me all right, you are shaking your head, is that all right? I couldn’t say no. I said I don’t know. I just couldn’t say any words. I could see that in my home as I spend days with the devotees that to me every devotee, that somebody is there, whether he is a senior or devotee. Some of them, many of them have gone away. But there is such sweet relation of love and toleration and forgiveness that it is unforgettable. I had one told that this somebody said that they saw bumpus photo. Some some other person say the money. They say that this man is a great man and he will make a house where there are people irrespective of caste, religion and country. They come and take shelter, get shelter.

And I can see it is only my Gopa’s love and devotion to our Sopa and to other God brothers and sisters together. It is just like a very nice transcendental family. Within Bengali there is a word like a Gohard is called Chandir heart. That means though the moon is one that still in society sometimes that will happen. That there should be many suns, many moons in one sky. So when I do have my God brother and my God sisters, I simply see that. That they are just like moon and many moon in one place which is nearly impossible. And it’s done only by the mercy of God. Because on mercy every little God is there to release all the devotees. All my Godbrothers and sisters and those who are dying and in their life where there is more life.

Though it is said just like the coal in a mine, they’re very dark. But sometimes with particular pressure and temperature they become like diamond. And though there is very little insignificant, but it glitches and can bring so much life. So Gopa said all These boys and girls one day championships and making Oxford street in Ghana. Maybe sometime in New York maybe island. They are like. They are like coming Ms. Mujituto coming from Golkunta. Just like peacocks dancing with their peacock have all unfolded. So when I remember all those gays and I cannot forget that and still in their presence those that are now present they are India present. I feel that the day street family of those are there. And within this each and every of my Godala and Śrīpas you can clearly present the pod whatever they say, whatever they talk.

So when sometimes goes that way giving somebody else in his heart other than po which is a huge position. I just cannot think of how we can put somebody else in pomission. And this way doing that he is solemn and guarded with hearts and. But still we have to march towards Golpunja or spiritual. Lord has found. Lord have to say that a daily man the engine is always coming and going from Hara to sailing. So if though you are the body with a chain with the engine he may not have seen, he may not have a giant but you will definitely go back to it. So a pure devotee like Prupad if you are attached to his word, if you are attached to his instruction hundred percent even not a drop just like in a white drop.

If there is a drop it will be very prominent of drop of ink. So if you have got any pinch of any feature of anything other than four person two people but you will be with just as you are pr. You will be Prad and you to go back to God. Because Gopal means and pray to Goa so that I can always have the guidance of all my senior God brothers and anybody who is following this.

Anyone who wants to take shelter from the vicious effects of the present Godless pain can do so by taking up devotional service under the guidance of Lord Jacob’s teachings as given by God at present of the night, the dynamic preaching and innovation is true. Proud of God were neglected and misused and kept within the confines of India. Śrī Prabhupāda was actually able to understand the purport of Lord Chaitana’s desire that Kṛṣṇa consciousness be spread through every town and village of the world. He had faith in these words and personally saw it in his lifetime that pure Kṛṣṇa consciousness could be taken up by people of all races and cultures. Even those who considered by Vedic standards to be aborigines and outcasts.

It is through contested application to Śrī Prabhupāda therefore that the Kṛṣṇa Consciousness movement is now proven to be capable of being adopted by anyone anywhere in the world. And it is by faithfully following the instructions Śrīla Prabhupāda that Kṛṣṇa consciousness can continue in the dynamic maxilian way that hasten to those on an individual basis. One can take to the teachings of Śrī Prabhupda separation by following basic practices. Prabhupāda asks all his followers to avoid forced mental activities, the eating and consecration of the respectful gambling. He also asks that his power of Chande Kṛṣṇa Mantra a minimum of 16 rounds be daily. He also advised that one should regularly read the vedication literature such as Bhagavad.

Gītā and Śrī La Bhāgavatam.

And in order to actually stay alive in spiritual life and to remain true to the principles, he advised that one should associate with like minded devotees. Whoever follows these basic practices and to recognizes Śrīla Prabhupāda as the direct representative of Kṛṣṇa can be considered his followers. According to all the vein strikes. It is only by serving the representative of Kṛṣṇa that one can actually become dear to Kṛṣṇa himself. There are unlimited ways in which one can render service to Kṛṣṇa and Prabhupda is expert in recognizing and implementing this principle. He used to invite the scientists, the artists, philosophers and businessmen to render Kṛṣṇa service according to their own occupation. Instead of painting pictures out of his imagination or making renderings of the material energy, the artist can paint pictures depicting Kṛṣṇa in the spiritual world.

Similarly, the poet can write on Kṛṣṇa as the absolute truth. The philosopher can explain Kṛṣṇa as the cause of all problems. The scientists can prove that life comes from light and the sigma Saddam can contribute money to welfare activity of Kṛṣṇa. Kanta is a person does not have to abandon his family or run off to a solitary caves in order to realize Kṛṣṇa consciousness. But even while in the situation of life he finds himself in, he can transfer his way of life and his consciousness from mundane to spiritual by adopting the practices of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. It was in this broad and liberal way that Śrīla Prabhupāda intended Kṛṣṇa Consciousness to be spread to all social statuses, adaptable in all ways of life.

The International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, Prabhupāda’s own society of devotees is intended to help all persons interested in developing their own spiritual lives according to the principles given by Śrīla Prabhupāda. The Iskan movement is the organization by which Prabhupāda wanted Kṛṣṇa consequence to be effectively spread in activities such as temple worship, printing and distribution of books, and establishing communities where devotees could live and serve together in association. Prabhupāda therefore entrusted all his properties, including the magnificent temples india that he built during his lifetime to the Iskcon who came for the possession perpetuation of his work, and he instructed his disciples to show their love for him by always cooperating among themselves to push on the aims of the Kṛṣṇa Consciousness movement.

When in Prabhupāda last year, a disciple visited and appreciated Prabhupāda’s occupant orders in Bombay, Prabhupāda replied, this is not for me, I have to leave this to I am leaving these things for all of you. The essential gifts of Kṛṣṇa Consciousness which Prabhupāda brought are intended to be distributed. Although most people do not know it, they are actually hankering for the happiness of genuine spiritual life. Prabhupāda wanted to distribute the gifts of Kṛṣṇa Consciousness to all the hundred people of the world. These gifts include the peace of mind and satisfaction of the self that are obtainable only when one gives up all material conceptions and takes wholeheartedly to devotional service of the Supreme Personality of God.

This pure happy state can be realized by receiving the ongoing dynamic legacy which Prabhupāda left his books, his devotees, his Kṛṣṇa cultures of society and his method of expertly applying to Kṛṣṇa Consciousness to every situation. In the modern context, whoever intelligently takes up the practice of Kṛṣṇa Consciousness will also inherit the most wonderful realization of all in his relationship with Śrīla Prabhupāda to pure devotee and Kṛṣṇa. We hope that the Śrīla Prabhupāda Amrita will also help the readers in establishing their relationship with Śrīla Prabhupāda. Its contribution is in the nature of deeper love or remembering its separation. As it is true of Lord Kṛṣṇa, so it is true of his pure devotion that remembering his activities puts one into direct contact.

And like the past times of Kṛṣṇa, the pastimes of Śrīla Prabhupāda can cut off one’s bondage to materialize and enable one to taste the nectar of the internal pastimes of Kṛṣṇa and his associates in the spiritual world. Therefore, since Prabhupāda’s life is not finished in this halftime in November 1977, we hope that the readers of Śrīla Prabhupāda meeta will not seal. They have to finish their connection with this literature by reading it once and for all. Rather, Śrīla Prabhupāda vilambita can be read regularly from beginning to end. Our hope is that by hearing about Śrīla Prabhupāda the reader will become himself a Prabhupāda Kataluda, a follower of Śrīla Prabhupāda. We can wish no better fortune upon anyone. Thus ends the seventh volume of the Śrīla Prabhupāda Vivamita completed on November 9, 1977 in the Karthi system in Vrindavan.

Somehow or other, foolishly, we at that time maintained some funny idea in the mind that maybe Śrīla Prabhupāda would come back again or maybe we can still meet him again somewhere and be with him, feel his love and caress, just be with that very nice old man who changed our lives and gave us his love. And somehow just thinking of Rla Prabhupāda in that way, it was so refreshing. But then gradually we realized that it was not possible to be with Śrīla Prabhupāda in the same way as before, as were accustomed to. And then we had to look around and try to find another way to do the Śrīla Prabhupāda. And when Prabhupāda was here.

Shelter in him not giving so much importance to our God brothers because we thought that Prabhupāda is the only one and we can always find succor in him. But now we understand that we need that also from Prabhupāda’s disciples. And as has been discussed many times before, that Rla Prabhupāda is coming to us again through his disciples and Samadhi means when all of his senses are absorbed in Kṛṣṇa. One thing about these very special occasions is that they bring wonderful realizations in all the devotees. And sitting here together sharing these realizations is so nice. And worshipping Rla Prabhupāda Murthy is so nice. I was thinking were carrying Rla Prabhupda’s Mursi first Rāma the other day and I could see that Śrīla Prabhupda is not gone. Śrīla Prabhupda is right here. Simply he has stopped moving. Now he’s been Samadhi upon Kṛṣṇa but he’s here.

And if I have any problems I can still bring them to Karambhat and pray to him and he will answer me in different ways from within my heart and from without to my God brothers.

This gave me great hope again feeling very enlivened. Naturally when dropped by left there’s some little pause, some hesitation, some doubt but now again we are finding our way, we are making progress. Things are becoming again brighter and brighter every day for the glorious Rla Prabhupda. So it is my humble prayer that I can always see tiny part of Śrīra Prabhupāda woman Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission, Śrīla Prabhupāda’S devotees and somehow help to do something wonderful. When Śrīla Prabhupāda was here, he did not give much emphasis to his own importance, his own personality, and we perhaps neglected to glorify him enough. And now we have a chance to. Of course it will always be known as the International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, but somehow or other, as the world comes to know, the International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, that should be synonymous with Śrīla Prabhupāda.
