Jayapatākā Swami: I would like to thank all the devotees and the dancers for the reception!

I had been to Vṛndāvana last year, but I got sick there and got admitted in hospital in Delhi. So, this year the program was to finish at least in Tamil Nadu, to establish the lotus footprints of Lord Caitanya in the places where He visited. In one of the temples, the Deity’s name meant “unending bliss”. So, we had a special program in Madurai, Guru-ājñā, and over 5000 devotees came. I spoke for two days in the morning and evening (for 1 1/2  hours each). So in one session I had a slide show on what Śrīla Prabhupāda said that he wanted everyone to be a guru. So, they did take perfect care of me and had two programs for two days and after that I fell sick! Then I was hospitalised for 4 days.

I was supposed to have attended the special Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura buerolace program today. But it was not possible. So they postponed the program for a week later.

I would like to see all the devotees here become blessed by Lord Caitanya and the Pañca-tattva.

We were supposed to fly on Friday. Instead we flew on Saturday.  We took two planes and traveled the whole day. We reached Kolkata at 2 am and then we went to sleep.

I saw the Māyāpur Lord Rāmacandra abhiṣeka. And we took this chance to see what was going on in Delhi, Vṛndāvana, Juhu, Rohini. Everybody was observing Rāma-navamī today. I was allowed to come to Māyāpur after taking the mid-day prasāda. So we reached home in the night, with your blessings!

So there is this pastime of Sītā Devī where she tells Lord Rāma, “You told them You would kill all the demons. These rākṣasas never hurt You. The sages were just saying the demons were hurting them.” So Lord Rāma said that, “Those who surrender to Me, and ask for My protection I will always protect them.” Sītā Devī said, “I want to hear this from You.” Lord Rāma is known that He never tells a lie. Kṛṣṇa, He does different things. He told Arjuna, make it known to everyone,  I will always protect My devotees. Because if He said it, people maybe will not believe it. So you are all here are devotees. All of you have surrendered to Kṛṣṇa? That means Kṛṣṇa will protect you!

Kṛṣṇe matir astu! My blessings to all of you!

Today, Raju and Sweta are here. We would like to welcome them both on their first visit to Māyāpur. They used to help me get the visas from Muscat!

This is a good day for all of you to get a copy of Vākmīki Rāmāyaṇa and the purports are based on Śrīla Prabhupāda’s writings. This is in four parts, compiled by Vidvān Gaurāṅga dāsa.
