The following is a lecture given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on 23^rd August 2006. The lecture begins with the reading from Bhagavad-gītā 7.26.

The Supreme Personality Bhagavān is speaking. This o ar is the supreme personality of Godhood. I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. And also know all living entities but me, no one knows. Report here the question of personality. An impersonality is clearly stated of Ka, the form of the personality of the Supreme Personality of Godhood or Māyā material as the impersonalists consider him to be. Then, like a living entity, he would change his body and forget everything about his past life. Anyone with a material body cannot remember his past life. Nor can he foretell his future life, nor can he predict the outcome of his present life. Therefore, he cannot know what is happening in past, present and future.

Unless one is liberated from material contamination, he cannot know past, present and future. Unlike the ordinary human being, Lord Kṛṣṇa clearly says that he completely knows what happened in the past, what is happening in the present and what will happen in the future. In the fourth chapter, we have seen that Lord Kṛṣṇa remembers instructing Buddhist one, the Sun God, millions of years ago. Kṛṣṇa knows every living entity situated in every living being’s heart as the Super Soul. But despite his presence in every living entity as Super Soul and his presence as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the less intelligent even and able to realize the impersonals around him cannot realize Śrī Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme Person. Certainly the transcendental body of Śrī Kṛṣṇa is not perishable. He is just like the sun and Māyā is like a cloud.

In the material world we can see that there is a sun and that there are clouds and different stars and planets. The clouds may cover all these in the sky temporarily, but this covering is only apparent to our limited vision. The sun, moon and stars are not actually covered. Similarly, Māyā cannot cover the Supreme Lord. But his internal potency is not manifest to the less intelligent class of men. As it is stated in the third verse of the chapter of this chapter. Out of millions and millions of men, some try to become perfect in this human form of life. And out of thousands and thousands of such perfected men, hardly one can understand what Lord Ka is. Even if one is perfected by realization of impersonal Brāhmaṇa or localized paramātmā, he cannot understand.

He cannot possibly understand the supreme personality of Gandhi of Śrī Ka without being in Ka consciousness. Thus ends the translation of pure poet by his divine grace Vaka Vedānta, Swami Babut by what he does. It is 7, chapter 26, verse of Bhagavad Gītā. As it is in the chapter entitled Knowledge of the Absolute, next verse says, all living entities are born into delusion, devoted by dualities of the sense of desire and hate. So Kṛṣṇa, he knows past, present and future. He knows all living entities. We cannot fully understand Ka. We are just very minute spiritual sparks. We are called Anu Infinitesimal and He is the Devil, unlimited, great, the Holy and only know your Son. And she says in the 18th chapter that he accept my devotee. No one can know me, no one can know Him.

By doing devotional service we started to go Satan. For we still know everything. But we know more than what the yogis and Mahdi Gyanis. We know those who realize the personal harm or localized paramātmā still cannot fully understand the supreme personality garment. As I hear in this picture that shows Kṛṣṇa Balram 80 and I saw them standing with a stick in my hand. And they’re rubbing the butter, feeding it to the monkeys. Balaram is really frightened. Very hard for people to understand here. First Kṛṣṇa is also eating butter. Here he’s being tied to the. It looks like he’s afraid of his mother. When Kṛṣṇa went to see Vishwanae, when he was on the bed of arrows and he was about to die, then Vishnu Dev told to do this here. Don’t think that Kṛṣṇa is your cousin or your friends.

He’s actually the Supreme Personality. He’s a good actor. He’s acting like a son. He’s acting like a parent. Ultimately he knows everything. It’s like an actor knows what goes on next in the play. He knows what’s going to happen next. We know he has fun with us. Bible One day he said, you people believe that God came to Earth 5,000 years ago. We don’t believe in that. How can God know that this is impossible? I ask him, do you believe that God can do anything? He’s all powerful. Of course he’s all powerful. Omnipotent, omnipresent. So then why he can come? If he wants to come, who will be able to do his son? People want to fight there. This observed Janmastami Kṛṣṇa’s appearance. He came when he came. He came all dressed up for vacation. We’re a boy wearing a birthday suit.

Kṛṣṇava is wearing ornaments, yellow belti jewels, helmet, earrings to tell us today that they were king previously he had met their son twice before. As Prishni Garba, son of Prashni and Sutapa. So these are some of the things we don’t know about Kṛṣṇa.

Because people ask well, is God male or female? He has his masculine aspect and his feminine aspect. And his feminine aspect is separated from him as we’re running. She’s the female energy aspect of the supreme one. So this lady was invited by all the devotees, wanted to stay with us and observe Narasana. So she stayed and she held Megara. And she Lady Raja street came and she was helping. She was favorable. Favorable sinner. But she wasn’t any of us. So that’s nice request to go. But after that all islands of severing separated by different tributaries of the angels. The Lord Shikhana bathe in the ocean. There’s a pastime the ocean and the river of the Ganges. We’re having a discussion the ocean. Praise the Ganges that you are the most fortunate. Because Lord Chitanya bathed in your water.

So for us everything’s a surprise. Like kids. The parents may know what happens. The kids. Many things are discoveries. Kṛṣṇa knows what it’s going to happen. But you know, when we surrender to Kṛṣṇa, depend on them and things happen. And we’re questioning so that Kṛṣṇa. What does Kṛṣṇa know? Do you know what Kṛṣṇa knows? Everything looks good for a start. Does he know the past? Does he know the present? Does he know the future? Yes. What covers everything?

Okay. Does he know all the living entities? Does he know you? Yes. Does he have your name written this little book? Yes. Nadia, what’s your name? What’s your name? Alina. Alina. Alina. He knows.
