Realization of the Residents of Vṛndāvana During the Stay of Lord Caitanya
Under the section: Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s Visit to Śrī Vṛndāvana
Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.13
Translation: “How can a man of meagre intelligence describe the character of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, when Brahmā and others who are able to see beyond material existence are baffled in doing so?”
Jayapatākā Swami: The description of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s character and pastimes are something very confidential and only the most advanced devotees can understand and express the same.
Caitanya Maṅgala, Śeṣa Khaṇḍa 3.2.414
kahita kṛṣṇera kathā āchaye apāra
samvaraṇa nahe puthī haye ta vistāra
Translation: To speak of the topics of Kṛṣṇa is unlimited and it cannot restrained, but the scripture will be huge.
Jayapatākā Swami: To put down all the characteristics of Lord Kṛṣṇa would be a voluminous book, but these things are to be understood by the confidential devotees.
Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.13
Translation: [Murāri Gupta continued narrating to Dāmodara Paṇḍita:] Thus Kṛṣṇa Caitanya, the personification of all transcendental mellows heard the Mathurā pastimes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, in the form of brief sutras, and considered those narrations to be numerous.
Caitanya Maṅgala, Śeṣa Khaṇḍa 3.2.415
sei vṛndāvana-purandara kaliyuge
takhane ye kaila gāthā-kahi śuna ebe
Translation: That king of Vṛndāvana having come in Kaliyuga and what He did, I am narrating. Please listen to this now.
Jayapatākā Swami: How Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya came to Vṛndāvana and how He is the same Kṛṣṇa but in the mood of His devotee, so please listen to His activities very carefully.
Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.14-15
Translation: According to the nature of the Lord’s particular pleasure-pastime, He sometimes appears as śyāma (deep-blue hue like the color of a water-laden rain-cloud), and sometimes as pīta (molten golden yellow color) enchanting the hearts of all living beings throughout the world and giving prema displaying that form of pure bhaktas. To hear about and reflect upon that form invokes auspiciousness. In that form He sometimes dances, sings, roars, laughs and runs out.
Jayapatākā Swami: Sometimes the Supreme Personality of Godhead appears as Śyama Kṛṣṇa, dark blue color like a rain cloud laden with water and sometimes as Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya with a golden complexion and giving out love of Kṛṣṇa Himself and expressing the ecstasy of love of Kṛṣṇa.
Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.16
Translation: In this way, while Lord Caitanya was enjoying His pastime, in every house constantly the pleasure pastime was again manifested.
Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya was manifesting these enjoying the pleasure pastimes of Kṛṣṇa and experiencing love of Kṛṣṇa in every house.
Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.17-18
Translation: All the manifest pastimes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa in Vṛndāvana, beginning with the liberation of Pūtanā and ending with the slaying of the demon Vyoma, as well as the pastimes in the Lord’s other abodes (of Mathurā and Dvārakā), are imbued with the totality of. They forever bestow all perfections. These pastimes are constantly imbued with divine, give all perfection, award prema-bhakti, and they are indeed non-different from Kṛṣṇa’s own form.
Jayapatākā Swami: Kṛṣṇa, His names, His pastimes, His form are all non-different, His various pastimes in Vraja, Mathurā or Dvārakā can give unlimited blessings to the conditioned souls.
Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.19
Translation: Some of the Vraja-vāsīs saw Gaura Candra as a baby boy with fresh butter in His hand, while others saw Him as a young lad tending the calves by the Yamunā with the other cowherd boys headed by Śrīdāmā. Still others saw Him as a fresh adolescent youth surrounded by the gopīs, with the complexion of a newly-arrived lightning-illuminated thundercloud, holding the bamboo flute to His lips, which were tender like freshly sprouting flowers.
Jayapatākā Swami: So, different devotee saw Lord Kṛṣṇa in different way, as a baby, as a child and as a youth and each had vision of Lord Caitanya in some form of Kṛṣṇa’s.
Caitanya Maṅgala, Śeṣa Khaṇḍa 3.2.429

Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca, 4.12.20
Translation: Thus seeing the Lord in great happiness, the supreme relishers of rasa, the residents of Vṛndāvana, including all the birds, deer and animals, as well as young and old people, perceived Him in accordance with their respective rasa. They surrounded Him and became immensely enlivened, and experience that the only Lord of their life, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, to be the combined form of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa (Śrī Caitanya).
