mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim

Jayapatākā Swami: Question from Mr. Anonymous! He is from which country?!

Question: It is very easy to perceive the difference between jīvātmā and Kṛṣṇa but how to perceive the non-difference between the jīvātmā and Kṛṣṇa?

Jayapatākā Swami: Just like Lord Brahmā has 50 qualities in minute quantities. Kṛṣṇa has these qualities in immense quantity. So, we should understand that we have some of the qualities of Kṛṣṇa, but Kṛṣṇa has more. So, Lord Brahmā has 50 and Lord Śiva has 55. Then viṣṇu-tattva has 60. Only Kṛṣṇa has 64. Next question.

Question: How can I inspire my family to take up Kṛṣṇa consciousness? What should I do from my side?

Jayapatākā Swami: There was one family in North Kolkata. And the wife, the children, they were all my disciples. But the husband, he was against. He was in the last stage of cancer. And then the husband saw some hairy black men with ropes walking through the wall. And these people were approaching them, he said, no, no! He started to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa! And the black men with the ropes disappeared. So then he called his wife. I want to read Bhagavad-gītā, I want neck beads, japa beads. So for a long time we were trying to make him a devotee but the Yamadūtas were more successful it seems. Maybe you can get the Yamadūtas to attack your relatives! I mean, you know there is no magic, if you can get the Yamadūtas it is very nice, otherwise you have to use your intelligence and see how you can make your relatives Kṛṣṇa conscious.
