5 Jun 2022|Duration: 00:13:22|English|Youth Programs|Chennai, India

The following is an address given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on June 5th, 2022 in Chennai, India. The address was given to the Jāgrata Chātra Samāja in Śrīdhāma Māyāpur, India.

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya iśvaram

Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

Jayapatākā Swami: I am offering my best wishes to the students. Māyāpur and Vṛndāvana dhāma are non-different. Rādhārāṇī Herself created Māyāpur dhāma for pleasing Lord Kṛṣṇa. Lord Kṛṣṇa was so happy that He said that Navadvīpa-dhāma and Vṛndāvana-dhāma are non-different. Navadvīpa-dhāma will be a place of pilgrimage [audio break] In Navadvīpa-dhāma other than vaiṣṇava-aparādhā all other aparādhā are okay. Here in Navadvīpa-dhāma we can get absolved of vaiṣṇava-aparādhā aparādha-bhañjanera-kuliyā-pāṭa is there here. Kuliyā, Koladvīpa we can get absolved of vaiṣṇava-aparādhā. Lord Caitanya said that

bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya janma yāra/ janma sārthaka kari’ kara para-upakāra. To get birth in Bhārata-varṣa is extremely rare. And being a human being in Navadvīpa-dhāma we can get the mercy of Lord Caitanya easily.

We hope that all the students will be firmly fixed up in their mind in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. In this material world because of their ego people think they are the body. The birds and animals know they are this body. The cat thinks I am a cat, dog thinks I am a dog. But the human being alone can think that I am not this body. If the human being thinks they are the body then they become like animals and lose the value of having a human life. If they think I am Bengali, I am India, I am South Indian,I am Nepali, they think I am from England, I am Russian. Then what is the difference between them and animals and birds? Bhagavad-gītā says that birds, animals, humans are all eternal souls. They are paṇḍitas - but the colleges do not teach this science. There, there is no education to teach we are not this body. But in ISKCON it is taught that we are not the body but eternal servants of the Lord. This body perishes but the soul does not die. The soul goes into another body at death of this body. I got this education from a visiting professor in the university. That how Lord Buddha came from Nepal, and He got enlightenment in Bihar. This way the human form of life is to understand this that what is our relationship with the Lord. But other than humans, birds and animals cannot understand this. We know our relation with the Lord and work accordingly that is abhideya. If we can go back to the spiritual world, if we have prema-bhakti for the Lord, that is prayojana. That is the goal of our life. That what is our relationship with the Lord. With that relationship we return back to Godhead. I am very grateful that you students have come. I am in south India presently doing attending various events. That is why I am not in Māyāpur. I hope that you will like Māyāpur a lot. And will perfect this human life.

Hare Kṛṣṇa! Haribol!
