The following is an evening lecture given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on December 22, 2002 – in Klang,Malaysia.

I guess so he told his followers, we’re going to do a kīrtana. Obviously, they didn’t know there’s a kick time before because they didn’t know what he’s talking about. He just made up some kind of a thing. Sat chin Ananda Kṛṣṇa para Brahma Kṛṣṇa, something like that. They were responding, but it was a real strange way of doing things. And Prabhupāda took it like he was making fun of him or something. I mean, it was like this wasn’t kīrtana. It was total speculation. Just Sat Chita not done. Jyoti every morning Kṛṣṇa Param just, you know, put together some words and clap his hands. So then Prabhupāda got upset and just said, okay, start chanting our Kṛṣṇa. He’s not doing this stuff. So the devotees jumped up with jagas and tayatamas and then I think kirta. Everybody had to breathe a little relief.

You know, this was a sports James saying that imitates inferior Sachin Ananda Jyotir Rūpa Param Brahma Kṛṣṇa, it’s no such mantra. So with Hare Kṛṣṇa everybody was very happy that Swamiji was smiling a bit. But he gave his thanks. Afterwards. Prabhupāda mentioned because you see how the devotees, when they enchanted everybody became happy. When he was singing his Param Brahma, Jyoti Rūpa, all these things. Everybody was suffering the chanting of the Mah Mantra by devotees. Obviously, because you are pure devotees. That’s why people were inspired. The Prabhupāda said, but Prabhupāda, where are neophyte? He said, see, pure devotees come in different stages. Just like bananas or mangoes. You get a green mango, green banana, you keep it for some time, it  will become ripe. Actually all the bananas they ship from South America, they ship them green.

By the time they reach to the destination, Europe, America, by that time they are right. So when they ship, they are absolutely green. One time our temples in Ecuador, that’s the banana catalog. The hundreds of thousands, millions of tons of bananas that ship from that country are being. I don’t know the exact one, but it’s a huge container vessels, refrigerator ships. So they have a calculation how green the banana has to be distributed. So that did pass because of some problem with my ship or something. So then they said that all this 50,000 tons of banana, we can’t ship it to America. What they will do with 50,000 tons of banana? So they said anyway, any non profit organization, church, temple, you can have as many bananas as you want.

So when I Arrived like this whole trunk, what you have here was filled with about 150 tons of bananas. So many truckloads. I don’t know. There was. Oh, I can believe I never saw some of those. Just a fr. Just a fraction. But no, bananas were so green. They were totally. I mean, as they were gay, they were too ripe for what they were going to send all the way to Europe, I don’t know, 40 days ago. But we couldn’t eat for at least two weeks before they even got near to being right. It was ungrateful. I just want to say, like an example. I remember our proverb would say they green bananas. So like pure devotees, they may be green, but if they stay in the process, they chant and they practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Then gradually they become right.

So because they’re on the right path, they are pure devotees, but really they are not fully conversant with everything. So they are not fully aware of all the points. They may not have fully developed in their taste for chanting and so many aspects. But because they’re already on the right path, they’re also considered pure devotees. If they stay on the path, they will ripen and they will become ripened bananas, right? Pure devotees. Like the Praobalus example here, you get a C. Receive the bhakti from the guru. The guru is blessing the devotees and praying to Kṛṣṇa for their advancement. Somehow one gets that faith in Kṛṣṇa and then one we all become gardeners. We take the seed of bhakti in our heart and water and that seed sprouts, becomes a plant. You can say it’s the bhakti Vriksha.

This is the kind of creeper from one trunk. It grows and grows up. It’s the bhakti lota action. The bhakti creeper grows up and up until it goes to the 14 planetary systems, goes beyond Kailash crosses. The Viroja, goes into the Brahma Jyoti, beyond Brahma Jyoti to the Vaikuṇṭha planets, beyond the Vaikuṇṭha planets, to the Lob Vṛndāvana. And there it grabs on the lotus feet of Sisi Rahesh. So there’s feed we get. Then plant gives flowers and fruits. What are those flowers? What are the flowers representing? Impersonal realization, mystic power. What is it representing? Devotional. What level of devotional service? Baba. Yes, the flowers are Baba. Ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa. What is testing all the devotional keepers? Everything is devotional service. Baba means ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa. And when the flower turns to a fruit, that’s Prema. Prema fal. The fruit is Prema.

So we have to become expert gardeners. What Chaitanya said, those who have love of God, they can’t live for a moment without contact with Kṛṣṇa. Even at the lowrian level of Baba, a few moments, if they are not chanting, they are not doing something devotional service. They  will start to feel uneasy. You can say that those who have attachment and love for Kṛṣṇa, they are totally addicted. But in a positive sense, they very much need the contact with Kṛṣṇa all the time. That’s why they don’t stop chanting. They don’t stop serving. Something they will do always to connect themselves with Kṛṣṇa. In the neophyte stage, our mind draws us the other way for sense gratification. And we have to force the mind come back to chanting. Our intelligence is telling us what we should do.

But maybe our natural inclination because of the conditioning of our mind by so many millions of birds and Māyā leads us to want to eat Bhoga. Want to see something which is not useful for devotional service? Want to hear something which is not connected to Kṛṣṇa? Want to do something which is not devoted, devotional related. So we get drawn away. So at that stage you learn to dovetail things. Okay, I like to eat something, let me offer it to Visha. I like to see something. Let me see something that I can use for Kṛṣṇa’s service. Maybe there’s a movie that. If I see this particular movie, everyone told me I can use that for Kṛṣṇa service. Somehow could be. So whatever we do, we try to do things which are somehow or another can be useful for our Kṛṣṇa Khan.

Then connecting with Kṛṣṇa consciously and gradually. As we connect things more and more to Kṛṣṇa, we start to progress. If sometimes we’re connected and sometimes we’re unconnected, then that’s called broken devotional service. That doesn’t satisfy the heart. But if you learn how to always stay connected, then very soon we start to always watering the plant. It grows and grows. You start to develop a strong taste for devotional serving. How many blissful. And then once you taste that bliss, you get attached to it. When you get more and more attached and you become ecstatic. You cannot think to live without devotional service. So this transformation, no people we talk to, they think, I can’t live without so many of these Māyā things. How can I live without smoking? How can I live without meat and fish? How can I live without.

They have so many things. They think, I can’t live without these things. When first the born Maharaj went to England to Preach Bhakti, Siddhānta, Sarasi, Tagua. He talked to the big lords. And the lords, he asked, what’s your process? They said, no meat eating meat, fish, egg, no onion, no meat, fish egg, no intoxication, no gambling and no illicit sex. And then the Lord just saying, what’s left of life for that. That’s the only thing they know. How anybody can live it. Obviously. So that’s many people, they have this. So first thing we tell people don’t do all these things, they get frightened. Many people that oh, how is it possible? That’s why if we give the positive side, you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. Then people, once they chant, they start feeling happy, not dependent on all those things.

Then actually if you get a higher happiness, then you can give up the lower thing. So that’s Lord Chai Channel’s process is to give us a higher happiness so we don’t have to talk so much about giving up all these things. Initially, let people first develop a little bit of taste. Let them start to practice devotional service. And then as they’re starting to get some kind of experience which is firstly giving them strength, then you can start to see you can maintain it better. You can start giving up these things. It’s a gradual kind of shift. But that’s the miracle of Kṛṣṇa Gandhi that actually people transform from one total orientation to a total spiritual orientation. For some people it can happen almost like that. Maybe because in a previous life they already were devotees and they just waited to be awakened.

And for some people it’s a big struggle. There’s some people, it happens very silently. They don’t even know what’s happening. Maybe the husband is not Kṛṣṇa conscious, but the wife is Kṛṣṇa conscious. Sponsor some kid time program, some different things. And then he gets some association. But he thinks, this is not for me, it’s for my wife. But I support my wife, she’s good lady. So I over a period of time by association with devotees, then they changed. There was like this one couple, wife is really Kṛṣṇa conscious. But the husband was not into it. But he was a nice guy. So he was not also like wanted to cooperate with his wife anyway, even though he didn’t personally look into it. But gradually he started okay, just to please afgheon chamber rounded him. I am also Hindu asadore.

And like this little bit by little bit. Then they had him playing a drama, playing a householder with his wife where the genie in the bottle was the sixth son. Kali was sending all the ribos to try to get his family under Their control anyway, working, interacting with the devotees and practicing for a couple months. And the drama totally changed him. Now he ate dramas a day. He said, I want to take initiation. He let his wife take the initiation. But maybe six months a year ago, if you told him you’re going to do this thing, he said, no way. It’s okay. You guys do it, but it’s not from you. So the Kṛṣṇa Consciousness is so powerful. It works better. If somehow somebody really wants to advance. They very quickly. Somehow you get people to associate.

Then gradually it starts to affect My younger brother. He came to visit me when I was just one year in the movement. But he had a different. He was only five days in the temple. He came to me and said, I have to go right away. I said, why? I don’t know. I started to feel very happy. What’s the problem? It’s good. No, no. But if I feel so happy and I don’t eat meat and I am a vegetarian, all these things, then when I go back home after my vacation, what do I eat? How  will I live? I better get out of here quick because something’s happening to me. So like Māyā just took a pic, dragged him up. But somehow I wasn’t able to hold on. So Kṛṣṇa conscious works, right? He knew it was working. You could feel it already.

You feel a big change. So that’s why Śrīla Bhakti Siddhan’s very Thakur. He had this belief that if I can send people to the west, if I get contact with Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, they’re going to change. He sent one after another. He sent a couple people. But they all came back because they didn’t know how to do it. So the final Kṛṣṇa Prabhupāda went. He also tried with the rich people. He saw these people very puffed up. Somehow he tried with the young people. Young people, they want to really make something different in the world. They want to make something different with their life. It was just a good opportunity. Also there were a lot of young people who were looking for some truth. So he was able to get some followers to take out Kṛṣṇa Consciousness.

And then he engaged them in distributing Harina Vishadam both this way. Gradually the movement spread by Virta and his mercy. So he said that this mercy is because mercy of my Guru and mercy of Lord Chaitanya Kṛṣṇa, Kali colored Dharma Mama Sun Kritan Kṛṣṇa Kripa Vime Nahi Dhara Pravarta and Chaitanya Charava says the Kali Yuga process is Hari Nama Sankirtam and If you spread it cannot happen without the mercy of Kṛṣṇa because it’s spreading. That means somehow we got Kṛṣṇa’s mercy. We are able to spread. We see Kṛṣṇa’s mercy is flowing. Actually so many people are suffering. It’s like a big epidemic of Māyā has covered the world. Otherwise, hundreds and thousands of years ago, people were naturally more religious. But now people have become more materialistic. Even india. The way the pace at which the youngsters are becoming westernized is really amazing.

With Internet, the movies, with this satellite tv. You don’t see anybody wears blue jeans and pants and western clothes. Very few heritage clothing here in Malaysia or heritage houses. It’s almost india becoming like a heritage. All the villages they wear the traditional bandagora Cities completely westernized in most cities, maybe few places. Eastern India and southern India still a little bit traditional as you go west and it’s maybe Bangalore is very much westernized now. Also Chennai becoming very westernized. So anyway, this is the competition Māyā is winning heading competition to take the people away from Bishop. They had a really nice drama of a youth in Muscat where this family was being attacked by Kali. And the queen was papa. And the different Kam Go Matratcha, Mohan, Māyā. So what happened? Anger, greed, lust. While they were attacking the family, how they could control.

But then somehow the Sarvakti Bhiksha and Namhata Kīrtana was coming. And Kali said, I am feeling very sick. I can’t stand this kīrtana. It makes me very sick. Once there was such a drama where there was age of Kali and the Kīrtana was making Kali sick. And Prabhupāda became very happy. We started eating his louder and louder. He got very happy to see Kali get sick. Usually we don’t want anyone to get sick, but Kali is sick. It’s a good symptom. He’s the personification of the really diabetic. It means it’s very good. It’s like when bacteria dies, doctors get happy, right? You’re awesome. This Kali is like the bacteria for religious acid. He’s like the personifying virus or bacteria or whatever you want to call it something. And so when we become spiritually strong, then our antibodies, our health pushes away coming.

So as his tear time was going up, one by one, all these anger, greed, lust, they all started running off in the stage. The only that was left was Māyā. And then Sukapi said, okay, Māyā, you get it? He said, anyway, I don’t follow orders from you. I am helping you. But actually I am Working for Kṛṣṇa, she got disgusted. You too? He said, I only attacked them. I can only do something against them when they are not Kṛṣṇa conscious. As long as they are Kṛṣṇa conscious, I also can’t do anything. Because they are protected by my master. You are not my master. I am just helping you. For those who are not Kṛṣṇa conscious, it was interesting way they presented it. So Bhakti Siddhartha Sara Thakur. He also used unique ways of preaching. He started diorama exhibitions and they rented out.

They put a big exhibition. Charge everyone a token, 50 paisa or something, 25 paisa or something. Just to make it orderly. And hundreds of thousands of people came to see this faith. The first. What’s it called? Theistic exhibition. And so following that, Prabhupāda wanted his followers also to learn how to do dioramas. And we have an exhibition in Los Angeles, in Māyāpur, in the main temple of Māyāpur. He wants to have such exhibition and building. Now that museum, very interesting museum. The dioramas with multimedia, with special effects, with animatronics. I just saw the second half of the multimedia which is going to open anytime now. And it’s ready to you go to Delhi. One of our stewardesses actually finding Delhi tonight. I wanted to tell her to go to see that museum. In the future. Here in Malaysia we also meet such a museum.

Probably. It’s a lot cheaper once somebody knows it. To make it helpful, do something reasonable also. So this kind of preaching using the latest technology leading this was also Shilabhakti Siddhartha Sahara. So we talked with direction. Actually we are very far behind in comparison to what he was doing. We’re very far behind because you consider 1920s, 1910, 1930. He had a motor kite, he had two motor launches, he had elephants, horses. He had everything heated at possession. Tens of thousands of people were move on the brinker mount. Those days they didn’t have walkie talkie. So he had his sanyasis and different organizers riding on horses to keep everybody in line. Advanced camp was almost set up like military camp in circles with him in the center.

And then different leaders going out with a security and defense not even so his concept of preaching was always very forward thinking. How to make it very interesting, very dynamic, opening up new fields. One day he was walking in the evening and he looked up at the moon for a long time, just a full moon. Everybody is looking at a Māyā’s guru day, looking at moon. And he said, you know, people on the moon have become very materialistic. So it’s urgently we go there for preaching, Go to the moon for preaching. What I was talking about those things, they’re barely flying from one continent to another. L First he wasn’t talking necessarily about the mechanical system we had. And now he can go to work effectively. But spiritually it’s possible to go to any planet for preaching. So the Brahma sends out devotees.

They stay in the universe. So they go back to God and help banging them for reaching purpose. Some of the devotees may stay with the spiritual master for preaching. Someone said, all your disciples stay back and preach with you. He said, no, most  will go back to God. But some few very confidential disciples may stay with you if I reach or to stay with the spiritual aspect. So. This is one of the services for some people. They just like to be in the Sankirtan movement and watch attendant for most people with this idea where today give 200 was a gallons or 200 liters of blood for every person just to help any individual get back together. In fact the Bhakti Siddhan Sakura said if I can get one disciple who is a Madhya Malikari, I  will consider my whole movement to be assistant.

One disciple becomes a dedicated preacher. All it takes is one. The movement  will carry on. If everybody remains kinesthetically or they become Bhajanampis or something, then the movement won’t go on. And all these conditioned souls are going to remain in their already deplorable condition of ignorance and repeated birth of him. So the compassion which Janad Guru was reading out to us how much danger he took in order to preach. I mean we think, okay, he was preaching india. What’s the problem? He was preaching against so many things. Now we give things rabbinical initiation. The people from any caste, any creed, any race. But otherwise the caste Brahmanas they were saying it’s a monopoly. Had to be born in a brother family.

But he showed that the Shastra says if somebody chants Hare Kṛṣṇa and goes to the Samskaras by being a Vaishnava is qualified to be Raman. So he gave Upanayara, a sacred thread ceremony first to the non Brahmanas. He preached that the Brahmanas don’t have monopoly. Brahmanas should act like Brahmanas. We should respect your Brahmanas. You should act like Brahmanas. We need more Brahmanas. There are many people born in Brahman family in India. They don’t act like Brahmins, but they feel very proud. I have to marry the same caste. They  will be drinking they do all the bad things when they think I am a Brahmin. But they’re actually Javas. They don’t have any satvic practices anymore. Only they have a pride. There’s a big problem. So we need actual people who are dedicated to helping. So Brāhmaṇa means he works for the upliftment of others.

Pramana is Puruhita work for the benefit of others. So in our condition state, we do this service for Kṛṣṇa that gives us trance and hopeless. And when we develop fully and get Kṛṣṇa Prema, then we’re integrated in Kṛṣṇa’s Leela. Then we get our happiness in that relationship with Kṛṣṇa as a friend, as a servant friend, parental or conjugal relationship. So before we get that realization, then we stay busy in the service of Kṛṣṇa. And that’s our connection. For the daily worship, for the temple management, for the preaching. The whole idea of devotional service could be fully absorbed in Kṛṣṇa service. That’s why normally previously the temple devotees Prabhupāda made a program for them from morning to night. Everybody is fully absorbed.

We’re trying here something different in Malaysia and many other countries in the world now through our congregational programs that we want the congregational members also to be fully absorbed in KA’s service, do their work as a work for Kṛṣṇa. Because some of the fruits of their work they’re using for Kṛṣṇa. And they use their occupation different ways. Also to promote Kṛṣṇa according to what their occupation is. Some can do more, some more. Otherwise at least they’re maintaining themselves a Kṛṣṇa conscious family. They’re offering their food to Kṛṣṇa, they’re worshipping Kṛṣṇa in the house. They’re chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa together. They’re trying to create Kṛṣṇa conscious children. And they’re also doing some preaching. They sell the science of night in the week. Where they can attend a Bhakti Hirsha program.

Or they can participate in a counselor group or both these different programs that the temples have. So that the devotees can be also a little more absorbed in Kṛṣṇa service. So that they can have a direct taste of what it’s like to take up some responsibility for Kṛṣṇa to work on behalf of Kṛṣṇa. Devotional service is not a spectator sport. Some people like to sit and watch TV and watch the people kick the ball. I was looking when I we arrived, I was. Let me stand in some guest house there on the TV I turned on, there was this soccer walking back and forth, going. And I was talking, what’s the point? Hours and hours cheering, almost making a goal. I mean, some people then they just like to Be spectators. But you don’t have to be a spectator for devotional service.

We are actually playing. We’re right in the field. We’re not just playing some stupid game to get some, you know, goal which doesn’t mean anything. We’re having a goal to save somebody from the immediate birth and death. Save them from dying. This is life and death matter. This really counts. It’s not just like a sport, but it’s also a kind of recreation. You can say because it’s so blissful to help people. It’s so blissful to talk about Kṛṣṇa. As it says in this verse. They get so much happiness. This conversing with each other about Kṛṣṇa. So conversing with new people is also blissful. Conversing with peers. He set up this system for preaching. All the Vaishnavas of those days were saying that preaching is like Māyā. Somehow Kali infiltrated the Vaishnavas many and discourage everyone from preaching. That you are too good to preach.

You should just sit and discuss about Kṛṣṇa Leela, don’t preach. Forget about all the rest of the millions of people rotting in illusion. You just talk about Kṛṣṇa amongst yourselves. That’s not the movement of Chaitanya that we just only talk in a very close circle. We want to also bring in so intimate talks. We also have public reaching. So they say we don’t. We’re not part of our national. We don’t have to follow rules and regulations. They all wear white cloth. So Bhakti Siddhama said, these people are deviating. They don’t even follow the basic codes of Satvaguna. They’re claiming to be paramahamsas but they’re not even their. So therefore the better we be sannyasis, the better we be part of our Nashram and follow some strict rules and people can recognize us.

So he put on saffron, took Sannyas and all these Babajiya that are criticizing him and not all those who are the Hindu Sajyawa. They said, what is this? This is mature material Varnashra. We are Paramsa transcendental. They said, this is ridiculous. What type of paramhamsa they are. They don’t even follow their principles. They’re breaking their principles stinkingly. But they’re coming to everybody in paramounts. And whether we strictly follow internally, be devoted externally, follow their rules and negative. So he established this whole system and re established Vaishnava Dharma as something respectable. What was begun by Bhakti Vinod Thakur was completed by Svakti Siddhartha Saritangpot india in Eastern Vietnamese. And then he also went to South India and he started to improve prove the relation there with the other Ramayashnavas in South India. So the Śrīla Prabhupāda took that and spread it all over the world.

And he also went back to India and spread it all over India. In Malaysia Medieval 31 years of prophet of Malaysia Keep. I wanted to mention one thing at the Rath Yantra festival but I forgot. No, I just came to mind. I might as well remember this. That 2002, it’s the hundredth year anniversary of Prabhupāda Rathyatra. Rabbi was six years old when he did Raj Yātrā and Kolkata. He was born 1996, 1896. Sabinsi was in year 1902. He was six. So approximately now is the hundred year anniversary of his rat factory in Calcutta when he was a six year old child having his own rat. So actually I wanted to mention the name Mother Rad but excitement I forgot. But it’s actually a historical year because hundred years we’re celebrating.

Prabhupāda’s Rathyatran was still doing now all over the world when he started as a small child. So today his very holy day, the disappearance day Shabbati Salam. This he’s our my spiritual being Father. And we pray on this bonus deed that he bless us so we can carry out fulfill his desires and fulfill the orders of Shabbat. Swami Prabhupāda Baba once said the secret of success is to please the previous Acharyas. So we want to please Prabhupāda. We want to place the Bhakti Siddhartha Saritakwa and also previous Acharyas before him. This way we can get special mercy coming down to us. I hope all of the Lord is to take up some responsibility. Be active according to your capacity.

Our convictional programs are designed so even if you need one night, you know, weekday apart from the Sunday program, if you have one night you can participate in a Bhakti Vishal or counselor group. Everybody, especially those who are serious about their Kṛṣṇa consciousness they should be participating in some of these programs. Different programs for different kinds of people so that more time they can do more. No sir, have more time. They can take more responsibility and become group leaders and sector leaders. But if they don’t have so much time at least they can become a member. I’d also like to mention that today, this holy day one of our congregational members has departed from this mortal world. The husband of our Sulochina bhakti devī dāsī. Dr. Amien Kumar Bagh.

He’s actually a Bengali gentleman who settled down in Malaysia many, many years ago and married here. Had family here. He was follow like a daughter and a son. He was always a good supporter. I remember he used to come and talk with me in Bengali. Used to give donations to the temple. He was a successful physician. Encouraged his wife to take initiation. His daughter is under shelter. He used to chant also a little bit. He was helping so many ways and souls. All the services he did for Kṛṣṇa, surely that  will all stay to his credit and help to carry him forward. So we pray that Kṛṣṇa can take him back under shelter for his services to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Then he can also me in the Lord’s devotional service. Might have to come back to a conditional life.

You can just offer a brief prayer for Dr. Amiya Kumar. Ram. So those that know that give us some encouragement this time. Sounds very dead one to know that we’re always with our devotees. We’re going to send some devotees tomorrow for the final rest. Any questions? Well, life in the sense of lively, you might say spirit one has real spiritual life. Some people are like living dead. They’re breathing, but they’re not, you know, they’re not anxious. They’re not really alive. They are real spiritual life. If you really know who you are, know what you’re here to be. Do someone who has that kind of spiritual consciousness a spiritual life. They should preach. Most times people don’t preach because they want to help others. We got something so wonderful, so beautiful. We don’t want to just keep it for ourselves.

We want to see other people also should get it. Whatever our capacity, we can just have one person to get back to Kṛṣṇa. Even that’s a success. That’s in itself a perfection. You shouldn’t just think about, okay, I want to somehow get back to Kṛṣṇa and I don’t have time to worry about anybody else. That would be very selfish in a sense. Very limited. Someone who has a real spiritual life, They have this spirit that they want to reach. They want to help others. They want to make a difference in people’s lives. He said to me that when Paul was in and I we can say one person on the repetition of birth attendance. More important than building millions or thousands of hospitals and hospitals are also good. We go to hospital, but hospitals for what?

That’s to prolong our life a little bit, cure our disease. But if still we have to die eventually doesn’t give us eternal life. But if we can. So that’s just part of it. That’s not making an eternal difference, that’s making a temporary difference. But if you can save somebody from repetition of burden, then you made an eternal difference. So that’s something so much more significant. It’s like say there’s a big epidemic and someone’s there, everyone’s dying, and somebody can go and live a few more days longer. Give them a water, give them some bandages, but everyone dies anyway. But one person has the cure, goes and saves people. They stand up, walk away. So we’re seeing our brother in a perspective that we’re only here for 100 years, 80 years, 70 years. So curing us so they we can live a few years longer.

It’s not bad thing. That’s also pious. It’s good. But if we can actually save us, we don’t have to die again. We don’t have to go through this whole thing. That’s a totally different dimension that makes it so much greater than all this temporary relief that people are getting. And that’s what even a doctor of the body, they may also be a doctor of the soul. And when the time is right, whether to a patient or neighbor, to a friend, to a relative, they also give their spiritual knowledge. Just like we have many doctors in our movement now. They do their profession to help people’s physical disease. And sometimes they also doing preaching, like Dr. Ali Brousha. We have here one doctor who’s a dentist, Dr. Seal, like they were Dr. Bach.

Then Dr. Bagh himself wasn’t active, you know, he was active at helping the teaching by giving contributions by Yudu student in the learning across the way. Come to all the programs festival. You participate so like that in different ways people can support directly. Then you can support those who can. If you don’t have enough time, you support the preachers so that they can do it. You get a share of the get a commission from Kṛṣṇa. Okay, you’re supporting some people. He’s reaching so that those are supporting. They also share. It’s a team effort. So as a team, we’re all working together. Some people are getting full time for teaching and some getting part time. And some they’re supporting from behind with finance or some other service, whatever and their capacity. So everybody is getting a part of the mercy. Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Thank you very much. Last question. Everybody already Prasad. Some have and some on our handbags. We chantal Kṛṣṇa. Silence means not to talk for jangle. Actually for the shade in devotees. Because we have a spiritual outlook. There’s not so much, but. Gives an opportunity for people to get themselves together. Sometimes it’s a big shot. You lose them here and here one. It’s very emotional situation. So sometimes you get a lot of time, kind of bring everything into perspective. Some people are very Kṛṣṇa conscious and. And they don’t get affected at all. Some people they get affected and so this gives us time, 10 days, whatever. They don’t have to do so many rituals. But for the devotees we still do our daily practices chanting Yida Sadam, the offer of Oga. All those things go on. We know that person died, person is still there.

But the soul is existing forever on the body as the. So generally that the body is there doing other things. They’re doing pujas for the departed soul. They’re organizing a feast for people and offering all the benefit of giving vaishnavas to the departed soul. They’re thinking how I can benefit this soul and that. So when you see them in the body they have an option. They can’t go on. But if they feel it affected emotionally by making things a little bit of a pulling off period to get themselves settled, that’s what happened. That’s why The Brahmanas was 10 days Sutras, it’s 40 days Brāhmaṇa. He should recover quicker because he’s supposed to have more knowledge. Even then he may be affected. It’s a big loss. There will be still Lord chanting this Mona is not practiced india. I never send him to Mona.

But they don’t go. They don’t do certain things. They don’t have to do all the inti kriyas that others that they normally would do for a certain period of time. But I see people go to work and they sit on a woolen asana, shaved hair still they’re going to work. They just adjust a little bit some morning period. I don’t see people doing absolute Mona. First thing I am hearing as far as outside. I can see the value of that system in terms of social recovery period. But really depends on the duality how they feel. For Sa. They don’t have to do absolutely nothing. They don’t have to because they’re already done coming. For those learning Astra, they don’t have to. But those are in the family. They have an option.
