Translation with repetition: Whenever there are kings and administrators living like animals in the lowest modes of existence, the Lord in His transcendental form manifests His supreme power, the Truth Positive, shows special mercy to the faithful and performs wonderful activities. He thus manifests various transcendental forms in different periods and ages, as necessary.
Purport: [A-side: maybe that someone like to read the purport to conserve my voice.]
As mentioned above, the cosmic creation is the property of the Supreme Lord. This is the basic philosophy of Īśopaniṣad: everything is the property of the Supreme Being. No one should encroach upon the property of the Supreme Lord. One should accept only what is kindly awarded by Him. Therefore, the earth or any other planet or universe is the absolute property of the Lord. The living beings are certainly His parts and parcels, or sons, and thus every one of them has a right to live at the mercy of the Lord to execute his prescribed work. No one, therefore, can encroach upon the right of another individual man or animal without being so sanctioned by the Lord. The king or the administrator is the representative of the Lord to look after the management of the Lord's will. He must therefore be a recognized person like Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira or Parīkṣit. Such kings have full responsibility and knowledge from authorities about the administration of the world. But at times, due to the influence of the ignorance mode of material nature (tamo-guṇa), the lowest of the material modes, kings and administrators come into power without knowledge and responsibility, and such foolish administrators live like animals for the sake of their own personal interest. The result is that the whole atmosphere becomes surcharged with anarchy and vicious elements. Nepotism, bribery, cheating, aggression and, therefore, famine, epidemic, war and similar other disturbing features become prominent in human society. And the devotees of the Lord, or the faithful, are persecuted by all means. All these symptoms indicate the time of an incarnation of the Lord to reestablish the principles of religion and to vanquish the maladministrators. This is also confirmed in the Bhagavad-gītā.
The Lord then appears in His transcendental form without any tinge of material qualities. He descends just to keep the state of His creation in a normal condition. The normal condition is that the Lord has provided each and every planet with all the needs of the native living beings. They can happily live and execute their predestined occupations to attain salvation at the end, following the rules and regulations mentioned in the revealed scriptures. The material world is created to satisfy the whims of the nitya-baddhas, or everlastingly conditioned souls, just as naughty boys are provided with playing cradles. Otherwise, there was no need of the material world. But when they become intoxicated with the power of material science to exploit the resources unlawfully without the sanction of the Lord, and that also only for sense gratification, there is necessity of the Lord's incarnation to chastise the rebellious and to protect the faithful.
When He descends, He exhibits superhuman acts just to prove His supreme right, and materialists like Rāvaṇa, Hiraṇyakaśipu and Kaṁsa are sufficiently punished. He acts in a manner which no one can imitate. For example, the Lord, when He appeared as Rāma, bridged the Indian Ocean. When He appeared as Kṛṣṇa, from His very childhood He showed superhuman activities by killing Pūtanā, Aghāsura, Śakaṭāsura, Kāliya, etc., and then His maternal uncle Kaṁsa. When He was at Dvārakā He married 16,108 queens, and all of them were blessed with a sufficient number of children. The sum total of His personal family members amounted to about ten million, popularly known as the Yadu-vaṁśa. And again, during His lifetime, He managed to vanquish them all. He is famous as the Govardhana-dhārī Hari because He lifted at the age of only seven the hill known as Govardhana. The Lord killed many undesirable kings in His time, and as a kṣatriya He fought chivalrously. He is famous as asamordhva, unparalleled. No one is equal to or greater than Him.

Thank you very much. The many important points which are given here. The principle of Isava Ssyamidam Saravam Everything is the property of a supreme Being, And nobody should encroach in the property of the Supreme Lord. The principle that the planet is actually the property of the Supreme Lord, therefore it should be managed in a way which is favorable to all the residents on the planet.
This principle of Kṛṣṇa, consciousness or principle of Vedic understanding that the whole world is a property of God and should be managed as a trust on behalf of God, was deeply appreciated in the synthesis of science and religion conference held in the year 1996 in Calcutta by some of the Nobel Prize laureates and other heads of educational Institutions who had attended their world famous professors, they were trying to seek that for the world ecological benefit, for the environmental welfare of the world and for trying to find out which religion was more in tune with or more in harmony with actually achieving an environmental well being as well as balance as well as world peace. And at the closing address, the head of the discussion, who was from SAM University and in New York State, I forget which one.
And his statement was, he said well, we have heard in all these discussions and we see how the Vedic point of view has a universal vision and that they see the relationship of the universe, of the earth, of the environment, everything in relation to the religion. So what the other religions have to say, how are they going to come up to par, how are they going to come up to this kind of vision? And it was like people were surprised. But then the Christian representative said actually it’s a big problem we’re facing. And she admitted that they were not, it wasn’t part of their agenda officially in their teachings. So this principle that we have to work on behalf of God, how governments, I was just thinking how the governments actually representing Kṛṣṇa.
In other words, originally the governments were approved by God because they would follow the principles laid down in the Vedas just like a policeman or any government, there’s some way that they are approved, whether it’s by legislative or election or by some kind of system that there’s some type of normal social acceptance of a government, but that there’s a higher principle that the government should also be accepted by God and then they actually have a right to govern. That’s a whole new principle which really hasn’t been considered in a modern day the responsibility by whatever denomination one may be, but that they have a responsibility God has given us to Earth, we’re not supposed to destroy it. Unfortunately for the economic exploitation of the raw materials of the earth, there’s just rampant irresponsibility in this regard.
There’s some of the big powers they don’t want to sign even the basic kind of environmental concerns. The developing nations say well, you have already exploited the earth and become rich, so let us exploit and become rich, then we will also renounce the total over the whole world is a very big irresponsibility. And even when you read in the Bhāgavatam how previously the demons they were able to shake the earth out of its orbit. And Prabhupāda indicated that but because of taking the fuel from the earth, that inside the center of the earth we all know there’s fire. You see volcanoes coming out with the hot lava. There’s a fire in there. Now what fuels the fire? So through the whole environmental balance, all the carbon, the different fuel, oil, gas eventually gets down. Is that what’s fueling the fire?
Are we just by draining off all the petroleum, are we signing the death warrant for the planet much earlier down the road? I mean there’s no consideration just for the immediate convenience. Things are being done without considering the future generations. And it’s really irresponsible. One aspect here was that Kṛṣṇa wanted to have rulers who would perform their prescribed duty with that type of a responsible consciousness. So we can see well today it seems like there’s a lot of mode of ignorance going on, a lot of irresponsibility. So there’s a very big need for the presence of the Lord. The Lord presence today is also there in the form of the holy name Kali Dharam Nama Sankirtan. There’s another Kali. How does it go? Nama Avatar Kṛṣṇa comes as the incarnation of the holy name.
If we can invoke, of course, today we will be invoking for the new year the Harinam in the easternmost part of Australia, which is one of the first time zones in the world. We hope that it has a good effect all over the whole planet. I know many devotees in different parts of the world. For the 31st of December they leave big Hari Nams and people chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. At least it’s some contribution we can make. But actually the world needs so much to be awakened up to establishing proper principles. The idea that we are just chemicals, that there is no spiritual base is discussed in the 16th chapter Bhagavad Gītā as the basic concept of the demons.
I was just reading yesterday so happened there was a newspaper laying around and then saw that this new culture called the Rails who have the concept of getting eternal life by cloning human beings and then eventually transferring all the memories from one body to the next. So they don’t believe in a soul. They just think that if I can somehow transfer my memory to the other body, the memories that they live on and I will live on forever. I am just my memory. Of course they admit right now they don’t have the technology to do that, but very soon it will happen. But they can clone the bodies at least so you can clone your likeness and then all you have to do is transfer your memory over to the likeness and then you’re going to live on.
See, they already got 55,000 followers and some of them are here in Australia. And in the article they mentioned the Hare Kṛṣṇas which someone might want to take a legal case against. The journalist, she just happened to mention that I have to be really careful when I go there because I don’t want them to steal my DNA. So I didn’t want to be sure, you know, because I have already been to many different kinds of faro groups and movements. And like the tantric sex groups and.
Like.
She mentions a few other. And the Hare Kṛṣṇas which apparently maybe one time did something with the Hare Kṛṣṇa. But I would take exception, lump us in with tantric sex groups. And you know, The way the context she mentioned I name it was not proper anyway, I never heard this. Why there was all this. What was the underlying push for this cloning. Now we know the inside secret. This is another Rāvaṇa mode. How to get eternal life. How to through some cloning. Because they don’t realize there’s going to be another soul in that body. That soul will have a different idea than what they’re expecting. They would like to have their consciousness superimposed over that particular resident of that body. Anyway, I guess the demons always come up with some different kinds of crazy ideas. Like Rāvaṇa trying to build a staircase to heaven.
It didn’t quite make it. Now that they want to also. Habitate Mars, it’s. And maybe this is a plan. There’s a whole group of people that I want to make Mars green again. They say we ruined this planet. So maybe we can try to save, you know, rebuild up Mars and then make a better chance for that one.
The.
Kṛṣṇa Consciousness has a lot to contribute because if somebody is really Kṛṣṇa conscious, then automatically they start to become more environmentally favorable. Because just to grow the meat that people are eating are non vegetarian. It requires so much water and so much grains and things. Many of the different things which are happening automatically. If the world became Kṛṣṇa conscious vegetarian, we find that most of the environmental problems could be extremely reduced. In any case, people are not going to limit their sense gratification. It’s kind of all things contradiction. One hand they’re talking about environment, other hand, of course commercialization and consumerism is what’s driving the economy. Everyone keeps the economy going at full speed. So the whole thing is completely in contradiction. It’s heading for some kind of a crash course.
Actually what Prabhupāda said, a more simple way of life with a higher consciousness is really what the world needs. And that may not be good for the consumerization of the World a whole kind of readjustment of what is happening in the world. Whether it takes a world war to achieve that or some big ecological calamity, polar shift or who knows? Or it just takes extreme amount of preaching which may around the world to save people from having to get to that kind of extreme world change. But it’s very much needed that people have a change of consciousness. We have the answer how to do it. At the same time we have to then live by our own principles.
When Śrīla Prabhupāda was talking to Peter Bharwash, he mentioned how for two hours he had a private darshan with Rda Prabhupāda which was so illuminating for him. One of the things that I remember he confided with us when seminar he was giving was that Prabhupāda said that for businessmen, for all people, it’s very important that they live by their principles. Like somebody’s a businessman. Obviously he wouldn’t want to deal in meat, drugs or things which are against the Kṛṣṇa conscious principles. If we have Kṛṣṇa Consciousness and also living by those principles, the tenets of Māyā will try to do is make us prostitutes and to sacrifice our principles for some temporary gain. And obviously over the centuries and over the time this has been going on, originally people were much more God conscious.
But they kept well for this temporary emergency, for this thing we keeps compromising. Now we reach the situation where we’re so much compromised we don’t even have a clue what the real standard is supposed to be anymore. So we have to on our own Kṛṣṇa Consciousness be very responsible to also live by our principle, Lord Chaitanya. This was the most important thing that he was stressing for the Ashrams. Whatever Ashram wants in, they have to live by that principle. He didn’t mind if you were a Grihasta or you were a Brahmachari or a Sanyata, whatever you wanted to be. That was all right. Pick your whichever you feel is more favorable for you to execute your Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, which is more convenient. Prabhupāda personally he thought he would rather render his devotion a service as a Grihasta for most of his life.
At one point he decided he wanted to become a via Sannyāsī for various reasons. So according to whatever principle of Ashram principles of Kṛṣṇa consciousness were following then we had to act accordingly. And the sacrifice for the Grihastans is actually to remain very responsible in their family and hopefully to remain in the family for their whole life. I remember I was doing A wedding ceremony. And there are so many, just oversee them. But recently this one, I just. There was one blessing that just slipped my vision for so many times. The blessing was, may we remain together until our old age. The husband and wife bless each other, may remain together until our old age. Something almost inconceivable in the modern situation for so many families. A few of them are still there. And we hope that was the idea.
Go through your practical, productive life together and then when you’re in your elderly age, you’re still together, supporting each other. Of course, the option, if someone wants to take sanyasis at the old age, that’s another option. But at least until then you’re together. And then after that you can decide what you want to do, nibanaprastas or whatever. But that was. That blessing just stuck. It’s an interesting point which you can see how productive and useful it is for the family traditions, for the welfare of society. The people remain together to guide their children, to be a good example, to be role models when they go through their grihasta life. And I have seen india many joint Hindu families where you have the grandparents, you have the parents, the grandchildren, the great grandchildren, like three, four generations.
And how if they’re Kṛṣṇa conscious, then you get a whole dynasty. That’s Kṛṣṇa consciousness. For the large part, of course, everyone has their free will. But in that environment, it’s very encouraging to keep up with the traditions. So that’s one of some things that came to mind when I heard this. The other major point that the Prabhupāda mentions here is about the incarnation of Lord, that when he appears, there’s no tinge of material qualities. He comes to keep the whole creation in a normal condition. So in other words, when they’re responsible rulers, they also keep the kingdom, the world. In a normal situation, when their rulers are affected by the mode of ignorance, then the world starts to become destructive and the necessity of the Lord’s presence is needed. Like Advaita Acharya, he saw that we need Ka’s presence here 500 years ago.
He could see that people, they were practicing religion superficially, but nothing had anything to do with spirituality. Nothing had to do with really pleasing the Lord. The real purpose of religion is Haritoshanam. So nothing like that was happening. Everybody was simply putting a show of being religious and they were doing all kinds of nonsense. Either they were just worshipping devas or devis for some temporary benefit, or otherwise they were putting on a show. People they were marrying their daughters and that’s a religious ceremony. So they’d invite everybody, give a big feast and show off that we’re rich and famous and we’re doing a big religious marriage for our daughter. Then it became a competitive thing. Who could have the most opulent wedding ceremony? And well, one person got defeated. So he was a bit upset. So he decided, I am going to marry Devī Sava.
And Pārvatī, he had a bigger celebration. Then the other family thought, you know, I am not going to be put down, so I will do something new. So then he took the male and female dog and did a marriage ceremony for the dogs. This, this was going on 500 years ago. And now invite. Wow, this is something new. Marrying a dog. What does marriage vows have to do with a dog? A dog next mean they’re going to run off with somebody else. So people like Shiva as Thakur, they were saying this, what is going on here? I mean, this is like, what does this do with religion? This is just big, you know, completely bogus show. Just to promote their own name and fame in the name of religion. They’re just exploiting it for their own self aggrandizement, self fame.
So that’s why it was becoming a very. I seemed everybody was religious and everybody was. Some people super. Rule, regulation, consciousness, you know, don’t chant Hare Kṛṣṇa out loud because you’re going to take away the power of the holy name. That type of prejudice against chanting. Only chant you can chant when you run the river. So Lord Chaitanya appeared in a lunar eclipse. So that way everybody was in the river chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa because that was the one time they thought it was okay to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa out loud. Otherwise all the caste Brahmins said, don’t chant the name of Vishnu out loud because you will commit some offense and you will take away the power of the Holy name.
Lord Chaitanya, that when he came and started preaching that you don’t take away the power, you may commit an offense that’s going to come on you, but you can’t take away Ka’s power by chanting his name. There’s nowhere in the Vedas that says that. It was total speculation. But that was like what everybody thought. That was like the standard. So they had to face so many difficulties to chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa Mah mantra from these caste Brahmins because of the whole situation. So Advaita Chari thought, I am not going to be able to attract these people to Kṛṣṇa. I am not going to be able to give them Kṛṣṇa Bhakti Kṛṣṇa can give his own Bhakti Kṛṣṇa can give easily liberation. But Kṛṣṇa can give devotion. So we need Kṛṣṇa to come down here.
So then he took the vow that I am going to bring Kṛṣṇa into this world. And he began to fast. He thought, what’s the most powerful worship I can do? Śrī Kṛṣṇa is very pleased with Ganges water. The dearest offering to him is Tulasi. So he offered Tulasi, Manjaris and Ganges water to his Shali Gramshila fasted. He was crying. He was calling out on the holy names. Loudly calling out on Kṛṣṇa said, my name is Advaita. I am a spiritual master. I am not different from the Lord. If my name is going to be true, then the Lord must come down. So in this way, Advaita was praying so intensely for a long, consistent for some time. At the same time the other devotees were also all praying for the Lord to come. Haridas Thakur was also praying for the Lord to come.
Prabhupāda explained how Kṛṣṇa comes to please his devotees. When all the devotees were so much eager that the Lord come. The world was in such a disturbed state. Then Lord Chaitanya agreed to come. So Kṛṣṇa appeared on the clamor. This time as his own devotee. Śrī Kṛṣṇa did many wonderful things very openly. So everybody could see that he was extraordinary. He did things which were not normally possible. Lord Chaitanya, since he was coming as the devotee, he could not show these things so easily, so openly. But in his own way, he did many miraculous things which are almost unheard of in history. The way he won over the Mughal ruler. The way he brought so many devotees to Kṛṣṇa consciousness naturally and spontaneously. One time the Hussain Shah asked his minister, who is this Chaitanya Mahprabhu? And the minister was a Hindu minister.
He was afraid to reply because he didn’t want Lord Chaitanya to be persecuted. So then he said, well, he’s just a Hindu beggar, a fakir. He goes around mendicant, doesn’t have any money and just sings the holy names like that. But anyway, what do you think, Lord? What do you think is the most important? You are the Naradeva. You are the representative of God on earth. That was the concept. The kings were representing God on earth on behalf of God. They had to manage their kingdom well. Hussain Shah, he said, I don’t accept. I don’t think so. In my opinion, this Chaitanya Mahāprabhu seems to be not different from Allah. The Hindu minister was Shocked. Oh my Lord. Could you tell. Your Majesty, could you tell me how did you come to that conclusion? Well, you see, what makes my kingdom run.
Everybody loves you. You’re the king. You’re the emperor. No, it’s not running because of love. It’s running because of money. I pay everybody. I pay my ministers, I pay my army. I pay you. I pay. In fact, if I didn’t gratify my wife with material things I don’t think she would stay with me either. Everybody’s working in this place because they’re getting paid. But this Chaitanya Mahāprabhu, he doesn’t pay anybody anything. But my ministers. So many big people, they’re all running after him and they’re satisfied. So unless somebody is somehow connected with God, they can’t do that. So I think that this Chaitanyama is not different from all. Somehow has Allah’s potency. Otherwise, how is he able to satisfy all these people without giving them any material gratification?
He.
Came down in this disguised way that nobody was supposed to reveal who he was during his presence. I remember when he was. One time there was this Brahmin Chinese guy between the Ganges and the water’s coming up and going down, coming up. And he said, what’s going on here? He looked over and he saw there was this golden boy walking by the side of the Ganges. Every time he went a little bit further from the Ganges, the water would come up kind of keep touching his water’s feet. When he’d walk down. Then the Ganges water would go down. Then the boy went so far up that the Ganges couldn’t rise head high. Out from the Ganges came the deity of the Ganges, the personality of the Ganges. She’s cream colored with the white robes. And.
And she came out and offered her obeisances to this golden boy and started offering prayers. You are the supreme personality of God. You are my master. But he was a lifelong devotee of the Ganges. He always wanted to see the Ganges. Now he was seeing the Ganges. And he’s seeing Ganges is offering obeisances to this boy. This boy must be God, must be Kṛṣṇa. So who else? He won’t offer anybody else. So he ran out from the Ganges there looking. And then, you know, he sees Ganges pay our obeisance. Touch his lotus feet of the golden boy and go back into the waters and dissolve. You know, disappear. So he figures out this must be Kṛṣṇa. He pays his obey. Please reveal to me who you are. Then Lord Chaitanya shows his form as Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa and those show different forms.
Kṛṣṇa to the Brāhmaṇa. And he says that I am here now for a very confidential pastime. To distribute the Harinam Sankhyatam. You can stay and watch my pastimes. But until after I leave. If you tell anybody who I am before I leave, then I am going to remove you immediately from this world. Timeout.
So.
Nobody was allowed to publicly call Lord Chaitanya’s God. Occasionally a few people privately tried to express it to him, but he wouldn’t even take that. He was very strict about this, maintaining the protocol of him as a devotee. Devotee. But now, after he’s left the world from his. Not really left it, but he’s still here in his Sankirtamur left. His visible pastimes had ended. It’s perfectly bona fide to tell everybody who Lord Chaitanya is. But still, even india, very few people know who Lord Chaitanya is. Most of the Hindus at best think he a great saint. The Vishvi Hindu Parishad, when they had their meeting in allahabad, I attended 1978 and they, you know, they had a Chaitanya Mahāprabhu camp for the Bengalis and orisans. But from their vision, he’s just a saint. One of the saints india.
Like there’s Tuka Ram, there’s Babas this and that. There’s so many saints, historical saints. He’s one of the saints. They don’t see him as the incarnation of Kṛṣṇa. The other Sampradayas, even our own Madhva Sampradāya, they don’t accept what Chaitanya is avatar. The other Sampradayas, they don’t. They haven’t. We have not preached. We have not been able to establish in the eyes of the pandits who Lord Chaitanya really is. Some of the general population now understand and there’s many followers of Hare Kṛṣṇa around the world. They accept. But this is the most historical, this is the most important thing. 2,000 Years ago, 2002, there was Jesus Christ and some 1400. And how many 30, 40 years ago, there was Muhammad, sons of God. 5,000 Years ago, there was Kṛṣṇa. 2,500, There was Buddha just 500 years ago.
With him recorded history, we have his whole life history. We have everything right? Well documented, well recorded. The supreme personality, Godhead was here on this planet. And he’s given us essential teachings for the welfare of the whole human race, the whole planet. The people, they don’t know about his teachings. They’re not speculating, trying cloning people, any crazy thing. Next thing they’re going to all commit suicide together when it doesn’t work. So I mean, there’s so many crazy things going on in the world and they kind of lump us up with some of the craziness. Often we actually have really what the people all around are seeking. What every theist wants to know. How God is great. How you love God. Lord Chaitanya gave these essential teachings for the human race. How to have a peaceful world.
He created peace in the most conflictive environments just by overwhelming everyone’s heart with love. Give love a chance and give peace a chance. And give love a chance. Lord Chaitanya has given us this opportunity. Everybody love. But it depends on us to represent. It’s our opportunity to represent Lord Caitanya every single. We don’t have the big Maharatis like in previous time. Arjunas and Judas steers to come and rule the whole world. Now it’s many smaller devotees. But if we work together, if we work cooperatively, we can also move mountains. Just like that little bird was able to attract and get the mercy of Garuḍa and move the ocean, we can also move mountains. We can move the whole world. Simply by following in the footsteps of his divine grace, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda. He showed us that can be done.
But it’s up to us to carry on that tradition. Carry on with his mission. To be able to identify. ISKCON was created by Prabhupāda to be the vehicle to implement his mission. We identify with ISKCON because we know that this is what Prabhupāda established to carry out his will. We need to keep Prabhupāda’s will active in Prabhupāda’s movement. And somehow the devotees should be inspired to take up Prabhupāda’s mission and do what they can to spread it. As I mentioned before, every one person made one devotee a year. And every one person would equal a thousand new devotees in 10 years. It’s not unachievable to change the world if everybody just takes up. We have so many devotees. You don’t have to make thousands of devotees just even a little bit. Every one a little bit every year.
It would make such a big difference. But some people do a lot, some people don’t do much. If everybody does a little bit and some people do a lot, that’s a bigger super. But it’s so important that we understand how what Prabhupāda is preserved in the world. He took it from its very hidden place india and put it out on the world stage. And somehow or another, many people have heard about Hare Kṛṣṇa but few people really know what it’s about. But many people, they go through changes. I mean, I was even surprised to read how now Madonna, after having two children, everything, she now feels a need for doing something spiritual for the world. And she wants to use her money for spiritual purposes. And she knows that she’s done a lot as the material girl to do things negative.
Now she’d like to do something spiritual. Of course there will probably be vaccine for polio or something. I mean some different kind. But at least people, they go through it too. Through life. Many people going through changes. In Māyāpur we had a person who was the number one black market mafia. Not exactly in Māyāpur, just nearby Māyāpur in Navajo area. He was a well known guy that would have his own private bandits, hijack lorries filled with cigarettes and have them unloaded in some hidden warehouse and dump the lorries somewhere in the road. He was doing all kinds of things and he was like having a prostitution thing in Māyāpur. Suddenly his son wanted to be Kṛṣṇa conscious. He wouldn’t let his son be Kṛṣṇa conscious. His son committed suicide. And suddenly he woke up to it. That my son had the real idea.
All my life I have been wasting my life. Now he changed Japan, he donated land to my airport. He’s given up his. I mean it’s like, you know, it’s like a jaggaivana, you know, complete transformation. And as you see, all kinds of miracles happen by Lord Chitta and his mercy. The magic is there. Even sometimes just by the Lord’s own mercy, things happen. What to speak if devotees are actively doing their part. So I hope we can see here how just as in the previous time, Kṛṣṇa came in different avatars to establish the world order that actually Lord Caitanya’s coming is meant to establish also a new situation in the world. 500 Years is nothing. Look at this is just. It’s still like Prabhupāda was distressing. It’s still very relevant, very modern, very recent.
Sometimes you hear the Muslims say we have the most recent prophet. But Lord Chaitanya, even if they disrespect him as a prophet, he’s the most recent. Actually he’s the Lord himself come by playing as a prophet, playing as a guru, playing then what’s his role. But actually the supreme Lord came to establish the new spiritual Standard a new spiritual process for the whole world. And Māyā is going to try to stop us from preaching. That’s by offering Gopī Bab by offering Māyā. Kali will try anything he can. Don’t preach. Because if Lord Chaitanya’s message is effectively preached, Kali doesn’t have a defense. Only defense is to stumble, get us not to preach. And he’s pretty effective with that too. So we have to be so much focused that whatever it is, we should do something to forgive Kṛṣṇa to others.
Whether it’s our neighbor, our family, help the temple distribute. But whatever have these festivals, this is our goal in life is to carry out what Prabhupāda he saw. His mission was to put out the fire in the world. To spread the message of Chaitanya Mah Prabhu. And for that we need to cooperate together. That’s how we can show how much we love Śrīla Prabhupāda. Cooperate together, appreciate the good qualities and the devotees. Try to help the devotees as much as we can innocent people. And take up Prabhupāda’s mission to whatever extent we can. Even if it seems total. What can I do? Who am I? Whatever little bit we can do. Whatever it is just like you pull a rod. No one person. I was thinking the beach, everyone’s pulling. It was so hard this year, wasn’t it?
And no one could be the strongest muscle guy. That one person could never pull the rod. Unless Jagannath just wants to move on his own. But no, but everybody together, everybody was pulling. You would see men, women, everyone was pulling. Then somehow Lord he was merciful and he started to move. When the Lord wants to move, he gets inspired. When everybody’s working together. And that’s what is the most. Sometimes it’s done by some big charismatic leader and everybody just follows. That is an ideal situation which you see. But in Kali Yuga it says Kalo Sangha Shakti. In Kali Yuga you get to force just by the mass association, the massive largeness. Like what chitanya, he got 200,000 people to go on the Chankazi. Just the whole mass support. That is also what gives so much power.
I remember once were being attacked in Māyāpur in 1977 and it was coming all over the press around the world and they were stoning. There was a big repercussion that time. The Consul General of United States, he called in one of our leaders there and he said, you people have to do something. You know, you’re having a worldwide impact. I am Getting chewed from Washington. What’s going on there. The Americans and this and that and my airport. So you people, you know, you’re really powerful. I mean, you got a lot of influence. You got a lot of influence around the world. And then the way I said we’re just a small movement, I mean, we’re not powerful. Then the guy got like upset. You people is damn powerful. You know, American way.
I mean, the Australians, just by singing that song, Mr. Gorbachev set them free, right? Shri Pohlad and the Aussies, they made a worldwide impact. And it actually, I mean, the Russians got set free. Devotees were recognized and there are still many hundreds of thousands of devotees now in Russia because of it. When we work together, when we just try to use our intelligence and do what we can, it’s unbelievable the things that Kṛṣṇa can do through us. I just hope everybody gets that spirit, especially our youth, that they can see that, you know, it’s okay to be a little different if everybody else is an illusion. It’s better to be conscious and try to do something, be different from the mass of ignorant people and try to be real. Prabhupāda Nugas be followers of Prabhupāda and take up his mission.
Because any one person, if they get inspired, they can do so much. Thank you very much. Hare Kṛṣṇa. Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare. Any comments? Mahārāja maharaj. Okay, maharaj. Swami maharaj. But I, I when isn’t it When Adarya did Adwayacharya start in Core Kerta, even in Mahavu’s presence, did he start chanting glories in Mahavabu’s presence?
Was it made to try to start the.
Not that I know of. And apart from the two, three times the Lord Chaitanya was in the ecstasy of Kṛṣṇa like the Mahā. The Mahā. What’s the Mahā Prakash Leela?
Or.
If Advaita Acharya would address Lord Chaitanya as God or try to even offer him respect, Lord Chaitanya would chastise, would become very upset and refused to accept that offers obeisances and things to Advaita as the godbrother of his guru. So much so that Advaita started to preach Patanjali yoga, Mayavad or something in order to get the void Chaitanya to be angry at him and chase him with a stick and say, don’t preach all this stuff. You’re a devotee have to preach. I don’t find any specific reference to. Advaita Acharya starting glorifying Lord Chaitanya’s God in his presence Lord the Naratmdash Thakur. And he did that. He started singing Gore Leela. That’s recorded in the Naraytam Vilais as well as the Bhakti Ratna card. Where there Vasu Ghosh did. There’s some Adivas Kīrtana written by someone who says how Adwai.
But whether what exact year that was written or when that was sung. But for sure it wasn’t allowed to be sung in the presence of Lord Chaitanya. We understood that the protocol was they didn’t treat Lord Chaitanya or publicly proclaim him as a avatar in his presence. I don’t know if you have any specific reference with the date. Advaitacharya could have started it after Lord Chaitanya left. Because he was in the world 25 years after Lord Chaitanya. But during his presence we always see Lord Chaitanya was vehemently opposed to that. What about the famous Shloka that Mumbu Wasami composed of the no Muhammad and the Ayesh Loka?
That was just like a private thing.
Between him and Mulunga. We can assume that the Dutch Loca was written in a private capacity by Rumi. Private. Private. Also. The books of the Goswamis were published after Lord Chaitanya left. Because Śrīnivasacharya took the works of the Goswamis and they were stolen and they copied. So they were only public.
