20240709 Evening Pandal Address

Jayapatākā Swami: (Address started abruptly) [...]Then they understood that they could not stop them. So they tried to cover their beards with their turbans and they started to chant Harināma, raising their hands in the air. (Devotees: Haribol) That was a long history there. Then the Chand Kazi told Caitanya Mahāprabhu, “Your grandfather used to call me uncle. So You are my nephew, so why are You angry with me?” “You are my nephew and why are You getting angry with your nephew on the road?” This way Caitanya Mahāprabhu came to the Chand Kazi’s house and the two of them had a discussion. This was the first civil disobedience protest in history, showing anger at the ruler which Caitanya Mahāprabhu initiated. All of you do Harināma and all the time be immersed in kīrtana.
