20250609 Pānihāṭi Ciḍā-dadhi Mahotsava Address

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam

Jayapatākā Swami: Haribol! I will speak a few things. Can you hear me? This Pānihāṭi Utsava or festival is a very special festival where all the devotees can come and serve. Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa was coming to Lord Nityānanda and Lord Nityānanda told Raghunātha dāsa that He wanted to punish him, he was like a thief! Lord Nityānanda was wanting to give Raghunātha dāsa a punishment and the punishment he said was that Raghunātha dāsa should give a feast for Him and all His associates of ciḍā, flat rice and dadhi. Some of you have been serving Lord Nityānanda and Raghunātha dāsa. Here those in Māyāpur you are all engaged in service, including those who are in the management, the Deity department and the congregation as well. We hope that everyone was making ciḍā-dadhi preparations.

Lord Nityānanda said that He was from a cowherd family and that is why I like to have a picnic on the bank of the river. So I just want to see the devotees who are working and serving, who have come here. I think you already know that His Holiness Bhakti Vijaya Bhāgavata Swami is doing a one-day marathon. Nitāi Pānihāṭi Marathon. He has distributed 300 Caitanya-caritāmṛta sets until now today! His desire was to distribute 1008 sets. He said that he will give you 10% discount, and those who take more sets, he will give 15% discount. He is thinking how to do more service! This way, he has prepared 100 special pots of ciḍā-dadhi for 100 devotees who buy the Caitanya-caritāmṛta sets. What will happen next year, I cannot say now! But don’t wait! The pots that Mahārāja has prepared have been separately offered to Pañca-tattva. Nitāi Gaura Haribol!
