mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim

Jayapatākā Swami: So soon I will have an AI representative who will have access to some of my classes. You can ask him anytime! But if you want some personal guidance from me, you have my classes from 70s, 80s, 90s. So the AI representative is not the one. But if you want some general idea about the philosophical things I said in the past, AI can assist you.

Have you all taken any vows yet? All these vows, chanting 16 rounds, 1,728 mantras minimum a day, avoiding breaking the four regulative principles, no fish, egg, onion garlic eating, no intoxication, various items like alcohol, marijuana, coffee, tea etc. Unless your doctor tells you to take it. And gambling and illicit sex. Illicit sex is basically out of marriage or any kind of sex which is non-vedic. So those who are lifelong vows you have to observe. Those who are having child birth, I give them 15 days off, they can spread it out. They can chant 8 rounds a day for 30 days. They have 15 days credit. This coming Ekādaśī is Putradā Ekādaśī. Those who don’t have a child, Śrīla Prabhupāda told the gṛhasthas that they should have ācāryas as their children. So you can pray to the Deities, as a gṛhastha, you can have an ācārya as your child. Now Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and his wife prayed to Lord Jagannātha and they had Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura as their son. He was an ācārya! So, like that, we are trying to follow the lecture in 1975 when Śrīla Prabhupāda said that the gṛhasthas should be paramahaṁsas. Haribol! That means you are always thinking about Kṛṣṇa, you are also thinking how to spread the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. So this is not so difficult. You have difficulty in repeating, asking Gopati Kṛṣṇa dāsa.

The basic philosophy is we are eternal servants of Kṛṣṇa, He is our Master, He is the master of the unlimited universes, material world, spiritual sky, everything. So He is in our heart as an expansion as the Supersoul. So we are never alone, Kṛṣṇa is always with us. I saw a movie last night, Dhruva, made by some devotees. Now He was protected by Lord Viṣṇu. So the lions, tigers, snakes, came up and walked away! Very nice! So, he said to the Lord when He came on Garuḍa, the Lord said, “I will fulfill all your desires.” He said, “All I want is to serve You. Now I realize that I desired material things but I want to serve You alone!” But the Lord said, “I will give you anyway, and you also serve Me!” So you don’t desire things which Kṛṣṇa may give you. Later you will regret it! So, he was given Dhrukaloka and he is stuck with the material world in Dhruvaloka! So if you desire something, you may get it and then you will have to stay with that. If you want to go back and serve Kṛṣṇa, that is alright.
