Question: What is the qualification to hear the higher subject matters of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa’s conjugal pastimes?

Jayapatākā Swami: Well, Lord Caitanya did not really discuss it with the public. He discussed it in His inner circles. So how many here are part of the inner circle? You know, this is very confidential stuff. Śrīla Prabhupāda said, it may be misunderstood. Just like the rasa, Kṛṣṇa wants to experience love, and material life you want your own sense gratification but Kṛṣṇa is not like that! The gopīs are not like that! They want to please Kṛṣṇa. So that is true love! Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Question: Can you please elaborate on Śānta-rasa?

Jayapatākā Swami: Śānta-rasa – some great sages have śānta-rasa, they really appreciate the qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And they appreciate His wonderful qualities. Also like the trees, animals in the forest, Kṛṣṇa knows how to speak their language! In Malaysia, someone asked me, “Does Kṛṣṇa know Tamil?” I said, “He knows every language, even the language of the trees and animals.”

Question: How should we control our agitated mind while chanting when we are not in the association of devotees?

Jayapatākā Swami: You can chant in front of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mūrti, chant in front of tulasī or some Deity and try to concentrate the mind. The mind may go away initially, but if you keep on chanting then gradually the mind gets controlled.

Question: How to rise after a fall down?

Jayapatākā Swami: There is no higher atonement than devotional service. So, one should continue doing devotional service and pray for forgiveness.

Question: How did Lord Nityānanda spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness so wide in Bengal?

Jayapatākā Swami: He was very systematic. He would chant, dance and encourage others to participate. And it was so ecstatic that everyone also started to also chant. What do you think? Nityānanda! Nityānanda! Nityānanda! Nitāi! Gaurāṅga! Everyone who is doing kīrtana they help Him to spread it to others. We want you all to do the same thing, spread this to others. Haribol!

So Vrajeśvara Gaura dāsa is improving and so he may be sent out of the ICU. This is all because of your chanting for him. So now, let us chant again for him:

śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda
śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda
