Today is the tirobhav tithi of His Diving Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. We are glad to see so many devotees here. Today is the day we feel separation and also happiness. Separation because we don’t have his association anymore on the physical level. We are also happy that we know that the atma never dies, and that he is with us and that he is looking over us.

Someone was saying that Prabhupada was saying not to chant 64 rounds. At first he did say to chant 25 rounds, and then he found out that it is difficult. Then he said, “Ok, 16 rounds.”

I was hearing from one of Prabhupada’s Godbrothers that Om Visnupada Bhaktisiddhantha Saraswati Thakur had prescribed 16 rounds for the book distributers. For those who stay in the ashram, 64 rounds.

Srila Prabhupada always had us busy in engaging in devotional service. At one point I was chanting 32 rounds. At 10 o’ clock in the morning I was finishing my rounds in Kolkata. Prabhupada asked me, “What are you doing?”, I was a bit proud, “I am chanting 32 rounds.” (laughter).

“If you chant 32 rounds, who will go out and preach? Chant 16 rounds and go out and preach.”

So we got just busy with preaching. Later on I discovered that his gurudev had said, “Anyone who helps you will get blessings.”

So who wants to help Prabhupada? …..

All hungry for blessings (laughter)

We heard how Prabhupada turned and smiled at this person from Malaysia. He was inspired to give his land and help with the temple, and he even helped the temple afterwards. Prabhupada would say how his guru would be by his side all the time. We can see how Prabhupada is by our side all the time. Whether you are in Simova or wherever you are, he is there. (laughter) You can’t hide.

Who wants the mercy of Prabhupada? ……………haribol (everyone)

I also heard that Bhaktisiddhantha Saraswati Thakur said, “One of my disciple will go the West, and he will send devotees from all over the West to come on Nabadwip Parikarama. I will not leave to see, but it will happen, it will happen.”

Srila Prabhupada ki? Jay.

Bhaktivinod Thakur had predicted that in the early 1800’s, someone will come and easily go from one continent to another, and spread the Vani of Lord Caitanya. So when someone read this to Prabhupada, he said, “Maybe he is talking about me.”, then he changed the subject. There is no doubt that he was talking about Srila Prabhupada.

Bhaktivinod Thakur also predicted that, that there will be a mass meeting between the Western devotees and the Indian devotees. How they would embrace each other. They would say, “Jay Sachi Nandan, Jay Sachi Nandan.” There will be no prejudice to caste, color or creed. Consider saying these things in the height of the British Raj, and it all came true.

Srila Prabhupada came and spread this Krsna Conscious movement all over the world.

We are very happy to hear the grand disciples speaking, because the grand disciples and the great grand disciples have to carry this movement forward, and that so men and woman are actively helping Srila Prabhupada is very appreciated.

So at 7:26 Srila Prabhupada had his pastime of going back to Godhead. So we want to celebrate that moment.

Srila Prabhupada said that his last …16.38… in Vrindavana is Nirjana Bhajana.

He spread whole life preaching, but in the last days in his nirjana bhajan, he was focusing on Krishna-Balaram, Radhe Shyam and Nitai-Gaura.
