20240817 Jhulan Yātrā Festival Address

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
Harihi oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: I have come to offer service to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava! That I was supposed to speak I was not informed. But I hope that all of you are getting an opportunity to serve Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava. The vraja-vāsīs of Vṛndāvana were engaged in Kṛṣṇa’s service and Kṛṣṇa was very pleased. And those who are arranging this very beautiful program, I am very grateful for their services. My body is a little sick. I took this opportunity to come and serve Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava. In the Jagannātha Ratha-yātrā we get the opportunity to pull the rope of Lord Jagannātha’s cart. And in Jhulan-yātrā we can pull the rope of Rādhā Mādhava’s swing and in this way participate in the Swing Festival of Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava.

Today is also the disappearance day of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī. And Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī was thinking where are Śrī Rādhā and Mādhava? Not only thinking, but he was crying out loudly! So he was in the mood of the vraja-vāsīs. Today is his tirobhāva, disappearance tithi, it is a very, very special occasion so I hope that you will all participate in service. Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava are so merciful, that all the devotees of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu can pull Their swing. I will not talk much and will end here.
