Jayapatākā Swami: Su-svāgatam!

I am a bit unwell now, but you have all come from West Midnapore and Jhargram, so I have come to see you! And welcome to all of you!

Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu – Midnapore are part of Gaura-maṇḍala-bhūmi. Śrīla Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura said:

Śrī gauḍa-maṇḍala-bhūmi,     yebā jāne cintāmaṇi,
tā'ra haya vrajabhūme vāsa

Gaura-maṇḍala-bhūmi comprises of some parts of Bangladesh and West Bengal. You have all come to Navadvīpa dhāma which was created by Rādhārāṇī. Kṛṣṇa told Rādhārāṇī that, “You have created such a beautiful dhāma for Me, so this dhāma will be non-different from Vṛndāvana. Whatever service is done here, we get a thousand times more benefit.” Haribol! Even if one walks on this dhāma he gets more than the benefit of doing an aśvamedha-yajñas! If you sleep here, like you sleep at night, it is like the benefit you get paying obeisances to the Lord here. So this is a mercy dhāma. In Vṛndāvana, if someone commits some offence there, then they get the result of that a thousand times, but here it is not so. Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu had appeared for three reasons – one was to establish the yuga-dharma, which is chanting, doing japa and singing of the mahā-mantra.

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare!

In Kali-yuga chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra is the only way. Harināma and Lord Kṛṣṇa – They are non-different. So if we chant Hare Kṛṣṇa every day, Lord Kṛṣṇa, Lord Gaurāṅga will be very happy. Who of you here chant the Harināma? Haribol! This Harināma chanting is the yuga-dharma of Kali-yuga. Lord Kṛṣṇa, Lord Caitanya appeared for a confidential reason too. Rukmiṇī devī told Lord Kṛṣṇa that He knew everything, but there was one thing she knew and Rādhārāṇī knew, but He did not know. Lord Kṛṣṇa asked, “What was that?” Then Rukmiṇī said, “You don’t know, as there is no one above You, You do not know how much Your devotees love You and in what way they love You!” Then Kṛṣṇa said that He would appear in the Kali-yuga as a devotee. That is why He appeared as Lord Caitanya. Lord Kṛṣṇa and Rādhārāṇī – Lord Caitanya is the combined form of both of Them.

In Navadvīpa dhāma, Lord Caitanya stayed for 24 years and in Jagannātha Purī for 18 years and traveled around South India, Vṛndāvana and other parts of India for 6 years. When Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu went to South India, He would embrace everyone as He saw them. And He said:
