The following is a lecture on the Appearance Day of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on March 13, 1979 – in Śrī Māyāpur, India.

But those who are perfect seers of the absolute truth know well that about these three features of the one absolute truth are different perspective views seen from different angles of vision, as is explained in the first loca of the first chapter. How did the supreme truth is self sufficient, cognizant and free from the illusions of relativity. In the relative world, the Noah is different from the known, but in the absolute truth, both the knower and the known are one and the same thing. In the relative world, knower is the living spirit or superior energy, whereas the no is the very matter or inferior energy. Therefore, there is a duality of inferior and superior energy, whereas in the absolute realm, both the noir and the no are of the same superior energy. There are three kinds of energies of the supreme energetic.

There is no difference between the energy and the energetic, but there is a difference of quality of energies. The absolute realm analytic entities are the same superior energy, but the material world is inferior energy. The living being in contact with the inferior energy is illusion thinking he belongs to the inferior energy. Therefore, there is the sense of relativity in the material world. In the absolute, there is no such sense of difference between the knower and the known, and therefore, everything there is absolutely so very insignificant in the presence of my exalted God brothers and the assembled vaishnavas. Only by the mercy of the Vaishnavas is it possible to get the mercy. So I pray that all the blaish travers may have their mercy and merciful grandma, so I may repeat the great words of our beloved spiritual master, his divine grace, without any offense.

Today, on the auspicious appearance day of Śrī Chaitanya Mahakabu, we are discussing the absolute truth realized by different people in three forms, that the same absolutely truth is also realized in the form of Saint Jaitan Yamaha and this one, Sidhar Prabhupāda has described here that there are different kinds of energies that has been very perfectly represented in the Panchatatwa or the five features. Of course, we are now sitting in the holy birthplace of Sichetanya Mahabrabhu, which is not different from the spiritual sky. Apart from that, from the view of ordinary people, we would say we are in this material world. And the people working in this material world, they are kamis, trying to enjoy fruit. To result, they are working hard like an ass to enjoy. Prabhupda coined the phrase work hard like a dog to enjoy like a hog.

That is this material world, that process of karma, working hard, thinking that we will enjoy our own effort, that is material and temporary. One can elevate himself to the heavenly planets by that process. Above that there is the process of realizing Brahman, that is a process of Ghana, speculative knowledge whereby one differentiates between the material world and the spirit. The perfection of that process of gathering yoga is to realize the impersonal Ramadan one stage higher, the process of a stumped joke or mystic yoga practice process whereby one can realize as a culmination the personality of God, hands, partial expansion, paramatta in the heart, the Lord in the heart. The process of Bhakti job, which is this Kansas movement, focuses on the ultimate realization of the complete absolute truth for the Bhagawan feature. So we have four types of processes, karma, gyan, job and bhakti.

Karma is temporary Gad job and Bharati’s final fruits is transcendental. Just like by realizing the sunshine, the sun planet and the sun God is a complete realization which includes sun planet and sunlight. So realizing Bhagavān Bhakti means that one realizes everything in its true perspective. While realizing only paradma, one cannot understand Bhagawan, realizing Brahman, one cannot understand. Therefore, the Gandhis, the natural speculators, they say that no, there is no haruwah. These are all manifestations of Māyā because they have not risen to that level. Therefore they are not the ultimate authorities on the absolute truth. So CJWA, he is at absolute authority and he has come down from the spiritual sky just to give everyone the chance to know what is the truth. This process is not accessible to the Mendo speculators or to the mystic yogis.

This process is only accessible to the pure devotees. The pure devotees, they can enter into the understanding of the personality of Ghana but to become a pure devotee is a very tall order. Lord Kṛṣṇa said in Bhagavad Gītā, Saravadaritya Jamal, give up all varieties of dharma, all varieties of duty and simply surrender unto me. But there are many, most everyone cannot fully surrender unto Kṛṣṇa, giving up everything. But Kṛṣṇa would not give them pure love of God unless they did that. But whoever surrendered, Kṛṣṇa gave him mercy very freely. Whoever surrendered to him fully. But the mercy of Lord Chintami of is that he does not consider the candidate, that he is qualified or he is unqualified, he is very good or he is very bad. Without considering the candidate he gives his mercy to him who chants the holy name.

Whoever engages in this unkirt movement, however, we often say that he freely gives out his mercy but actually he doesn’t give it out absolutely free. It’s not correct. He charges one price. Does anyone know what that price is? That price is the intense desire, the burning desire to have his mercy as much as one desires to have the mercy so much proportionally one will get. One has to have the desire whether he’s qualified or unqualified, whether he’s very expert or not very expert. But if he at least has the desire, all right, Lord Chaitan, he gives him mercy not that he gives to someone with no desire. Some Māyā bodies, some other people, they had no desire to get the mercy of Lord Shaitan. He didn’t give them the mercy. He said, I have failed in that respect. I couldn’t give them my mercy.

All he has is accept. Accept this mercy. Desire this mercy. We are living beings. We are Jivatma. Quality of Jivatma is that we are the part and parcel of Kṛṣṇa, BUDdhas and Atana. So we are spiritual in quality. Our relationship is actually with Kṛṣṇa, not with this material world which is of dull matter. This is an inferior energies. Prabhupāda explaIned, this BodY and our SoUL, our Ātmā, who we are and ourselves is different. We are separate from our body. There is a duality in this world. This is called the duality of material life because there is this duality, we are always put in difficulty, we are always caused to suffer we are feeling the pain of material life. We cannot avoid it but we are intoxicated with the hope that somehow or another we will be able to enjoy.

This is called MĀYĀ or the material illusion. So the process of bhakti yoga is to fill one’s consciousness with Kṛṣṇa. After emptying out one’s consciousness from Māyā, the process is simultaneous. There can be no vacuum, there’s no spiritual vacuum. This BRaHmAN realization is an attempt at maintaining a spiritual vacuum but no one can maintain that for long. One has to be filled. So you will be either filled with his spiritual life bliss of Kṛṣṇa consciousness or he will be filled with a variety of material enjoyment, with a variety of material desires. So as living beings, we are thinking, we are willing. We are thinking, feeling and willing.

So the practice of Jaytanya Mahabubi is that we have to stop thinking about Māyā, we have to stop feeling sentimental about Māyā we have to stop desiring material things for Māyā and we have to start to think about Kṛṣṇa to feel very intimately always how to serve Kṛṣṇa. We have to desire to serve Kṛṣṇa. One cannot allow the heart to be empty. It will fill up just like an empty glass will always be filled with air so our heart will be filled with one thing or the other. So we have to understand the science of how to fill our heart with Kṛṣṇa. This is the secret to fill your heart, your mind with Kṛṣṇa.

So if we are having attachment for any material place, just like if we’re attached to New York or London or los Angeles or Paris or Moscow or Tokyo or any material place, Timbuktu, so we are keeping in our hearts a piece of land by that name. But Kṛṣṇa. We want Kṛṣṇa and Lord Chaitanya to come and dance in our heart. But they don’t dance in New York, they don’t dance in Tokyo. Lord Chetanya dances in Navadin, Kṛṣṇa dances in Vrindavan. Therefore, we have to keep Vrindavan dhaba deep in our hearts. Then Kṛṣṇa will come and dance in Vrindavan. Then Jaytanya will dance in Gupta Vrindavan. And actually, the beauty Lord be always keeps his mind in the holy Dao, it absorbed in the past times of the Lord.

Therefore, wherever he goes and anywhere, even in this material world, he transforms that place, the mood of that particular place to the holy da. And one feels the presence of Kṛṣṇa. So we have to just realize that our heart is like a da. Our heart is a holy place. We have to make it non different from Vrindavan, not different from the eternal place of Māyā, purnavid deep, so that Kṛṣṇa can appear there on the lowest of our heart. We are to invite Kṛṣṇa to our desire, through our service, through our thoughts, to take residence in our heart. We cannot leave it empty, because then Kṛṣṇa won’t go there by a muslim. If we’re desiring to enjoy material things, then Kṛṣṇa will not go to that place. It will be like inviting Kṛṣṇa, please come and stand on my garbage pill.

Kṛṣṇa won’t stand on the garbage PiN. So we have to keep the aroma, the mellow of our heart, just like the holy goddess. So what is that movement? This Kansas movement is based on mercy. The mercy is coming down from Kṛṣṇa, from Mahamadu. Lord james on Yah in the spiritual sky, the mercy is coming down. And now it’s coming down through the disciplines of session. Just like when we offer PrasHada, we offer Prasad FiRst to our spiritual master, and he offers it to his spiritual master. And he offers it to his spiritual master. And this way, it’s offered to Lord Jesus. Then Ramada, they take the prashat. After taking Prashad, they offer the remnants to the Lord Jesus. Then he offers the remnants to the next spiritual master, intercession. Then to his disciple, then to his disciple.

In this way it goes down to the devotees and each person as he takes it becomes Mahā prasad Mahamaha prasad Maham. In this way, it becomes more and more increasingly tasty and sweet. I so this mercy is coming down from the spiritual sky. We can serve very hard to get out of our material devotional status and come up to the status of preaching devotees of second class devotees. But that’s also by diversity of Guru and Kṛṣṇa. But no matter how high we may try, we can never by our own effort or in any foreseeable future say that by doing this process I will attain to pure prayer bhakti. Pure prayer bhakti. Pure loving devotion to Kṛṣṇa means the one captures Kṛṣṇa. It is hard in such a way that Kṛṣṇa cannot lead.

And Kṛṣṇa is obligated to that devotee in such an intimate way that he cannot separate himself from that devotees heart. So Kṛṣṇa, he very easily likes to satisfy the desires of the devotees. If they say, oh Kṛṣṇa, please give me material happiness, he doesn’t consider it as anything worthwhile. If a devotee desires to please give me liberation, save me from his birth and death, how very easily he can give. But before Kṛṣṇa will give pure love of God, he will be very sure that devotion is 10% devoted. Because only by pure devotion, only by pure love, this christian himself become obligated. So if we want to obtain the highest goal of life which is pure love of God then we have to perform such a stand devotional service which is completely free from the desire for material happiness and liberation.

This is the supreme devotion. So Kṛṣṇa, he may even offer the devotee here you please take liberation. Dinamti na vinanti. That the devotee, even if he’s offered liberation, Kṛṣṇa may come before the devotee. What can I do for you? You have come here, you take liberation. But the devotee says, Kṛṣṇa, what will I do with liberation if I can’t have your service? What is the use of wandering around my kunta loca with four arms if I can engage in your transcendental service? This is a pure devotee. So if we want to taste what is the nectar, I want you to hear our flood of love. That we have to become free from desire, from material things. Free for desire, for liberation. We have to become unconditional devotees. So an unconditional devotee, what is the meaning?

The meaning of an unconditional devotee is his only consideration is what will give Kṛṣṇa the most pleasure. What will please Kṛṣṇa then I will do what will please me is no consideration. As we, many of the Acharias have discussed the mood of Sivadiraj Rani in the past few days. She stated, Ashley Shala dad, whether you embrace me or whether you cast me aside in that prayer, it says that even she will go and serve other devotees. God, considering her home, relate service or her own relationship with Kṛṣṇa, she will see that if Kṛṣṇa is pleased by serving other devotees, does any serve them? Whatever will give Kṛṣṇa pleasure. So in this regard, Lord Chaitanya one time expressed to Haridaj Thakur that I am feeling great anxiety. How to deliver these javana of this Kali Judah? How they will get the pure love of Kṛṣṇa?

And then Haridas taki, what did he say? He said, don’t be in anxiety, O Prabhu Mahabhu, don’t be in anxiety. This is a devotees move. He doesn’t want to see the Lord in anxiety. He wants to mitigate the Lord’s anxiety. Lord Jaitan is anxious. How to deliver all these? How to give them through noble Kṛṣṇa? So what is the quality of a devotee? He wants to help our children. He wants to relieve him of his anxiety. Therefore, this Sankirtan movement which is meant simply to mitigate the anxiety of a to deliver only fallen souls is following in the mood of the dopamis. It doesn’t consider my consideration or your consideration. It considers Lord Chaitanya Baha Prabhu’s anxiety. He took up his mood, his varobishta, his desires.

To establish Lord Chaitanya’s desire on this world, in this planet, we have to establish the desire, not our desire, but the desire that is pure devotion, that is pure love of Kṛṣṇa. If anyone absorbs himself in the mood, observing to establish his desire on this world, then he is following in the footsteps of the greatest devotees of endowment. So this principle he followed very strictly, without unfeeling, from an external viewpoint. And for those who are very fortunate, I am sure that they feel to the rubbads present by their side at every moment. So see the rubbah. He always took the most powerful position. He took the position as a servant of his spiritual master, as a servant of the Guru parabrah, as he served any of the solutions. Remember, when he landed in Boston in 1969? So many devotees were there.

The devotees were so ecstatic, so encrased to see robot. One devotee smashed his head with a cocktail, was bleeding profusely. He didn’t even know he was bleeding. The devotees were crying and laughing. The newspapers wrote that they were shaking and quivering even. And when Śrīla Brahman came, they all frustrated, they garlanded him, they received him just as one received Kṛṣṇa himself. Can he come? And then the reporters surrounded to the profile and they said, please make a comment. And he stated, but you must be wondering that why a human, why ordinary man is receiving. Of course, provides no ordinary man, but in humility is receiving the worship due to God. This is because the spiritual master is the representative of God. But if any spiritual master stands, I am God. He is not God. He is not God, he is dog God.

So there are so many spiritual masters around the world that they are not spiritual master. Neither they are God, they are dog, they are opportunities. But still of Uban, he took the mood as a servant of the previous acharyas. This way the mercy is coming down. This is expansion of the mood of self surrender. So just like what ChaiTanya is feeling, anxiety that in every town and village all over the world, my message will be sung, will be preached. So the previous acharyas, they have also given certain desires. He said nearly 100 years ago that from France, from Europe, from all the western countries, so many devotees will come to Śrīdhar Māyāpur. And he will chant here with the local indigenous.

So by Prabhupāda bringing the devotees, bringing all of us fallen souls here, he is fulfilling Bhakti Vinod’s desire, relieving one anxiety, getting some special mercy. We’re all getting mercy. Bhakti, you know, taboo. In the same way, Bhakti Vinod Khakur bank door to go all over Calcutta. Rs1 per man to build a temple at the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahāprabhu. In this way, he wanted to develop Māyāpur Bhakti Siddhartha Sarsdev. He built the birthplace temple Chuitanyamat. He and his twain tried to develop Māyā Purdham. He predicted there will be a city here, a spiritual city that Lord Chaitanya’s movement will be known. Lord Caitanya will be known as from Steve Māyā for all over the world. And Śrī Prabhupāda. He was lecturing to us one day on the disappearance of Bhakti Siddhānta. In this way, he said, bhakti Binotopho is trying to develop.

Bhakti Siddhānta is trying to develop. I, in my humble way, am trying to develop. Then he started to cry. Please help me. I thank you for whatever help you’re doing for me to strive to please and satisfy the desire of the previous ajaras. So we are very fortunate to do this previous tacharyas launching. They have number of desires. We have to adjust everything in its proper perspective. Taking their mercy. And by always remembering the words of previous a chariots. By dedicating ourselves. Then we get special mercy. Then we actually get special mercy. That is the secret, the opportunity we have to be in this society. I don’t feel we appreciate. I don’t appreciate police. Lord Shiva told poverty that. Ask him that what is the greatest worship? There’s so many devotees. Shiva, bhakta, Vishnu, bhakta, the rega devotees.

Lord Shiva said, of all the devotees, of all the type of worship, the worship of Vishnu. Vishnu is most supreme body corrected poverty. But still more dear does not. PAraphram DElhI is the worship of TAtiana or the dear ones or the connected ones. To Vishnu, to Kṛṣṇa. What is that to the Adam, Mahaprabh, Mahā Prasad, the holy name, the holy Dhab, the Vaishnava. All these transcendental paraphernalia of the Lord. If we have appreciation for them, if we love and respect them, that is somehow another, in a transcendental, inconceivable way. More effective and more quickly acting. Just like what CaiTAnyas Kṛṣṇa when he came in the form of devotee. So he is distributing this law.

And in all of our charges, they say that whoever worships, whether he is the GRihasta, whether he is the Sannyāsī, whoever is given his heart and soul to Chetanya daughter, I am his eternal servant. I worship his peace. So we are the society of devotees. We have a great opportunity to give each other transcendental association. To discuss preaching, to discuss the pastimes of Bharat, to take advantage. We can either give ourselves Kṛṣṇa conscious association or we can give ourselves Māyā association. It’s up to us. We can do prajalpa or we can do hari kaza. The more we are experts in giving each other Kṛṣṇa conscious association, the more then we have to be filled with Kṛṣṇa and Māyā will have no chance to enter.

So we have to be so tightly connected, so united with a single goal, with a single desire, with a single thoughts and will and feeling to serve Lord Sheikh Daniela Abram and Chila Prabhupāda’s mission and to absorb ourselves in their teachings and the mood of their instructions. That there’s no gap from my essence. I want to congratulate everyone this year for increasing book distribution 42%. Everyone, I am sure is very. But I am not satisfied. Śrīla Prabhupāda said to double it. We have not doubled it. We have 42% in it. Prabhupāda said double it. But everyone tried hard, everyone worked. No laws, no immunization. But why should we be satisfied even if we double it? Why should we be satisfied? But at least we should double it.

We hear stories about trojan horses, about assuming jagyans, but I would like to make a humble submission before all the assembled by Shenavar that Sila Prabhat dynasty is the spiritual ruler of this Homar parasan universe. And that from this very point, today we’re holding a hostile day to jump. And everyone is taking the white horse to north to south, east to west to cause everyone to bow down at the feet. Throughout the whole world, just like b masked went one direction, Arjuna went another direction. Everyone is going out. It’s already battle is won. Now simply to go and get all the misled rulers to yes, submit. You are the ruler of the world, you are the spiritual leader of the universe, Śrīla Brahma. God has given us such a wealth of fancy and dark knowledge and ecstasy that the whole world can be flooded.

Just like recently, there are some heavy landslides here in Māyā Purdam there was a heavy flood. So this blood is predicted by Chaitanya Mahāprabhu. This blood is rather mentioned also by sub Rūpa, that Māyāpur daa is the beginning of the Sankirta movement. So sometimes it floods. And this means that from this place or that from the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. I am JW Lahabramu. The whole world will be flooded. In love of God, I decide to give you a very intimate experience that when the it was raining very furiously here and it was raining, everyone’s watching the water rise inch by inch, as it was about 1ft high. People are thinking that, well, it’s very heavy rain. But then I went on my knee high.

Then they started to think that, well, more than a rainy, but when it was waist high, then they started to get worried that, well, now something really serious. But when it became neck high, then we could understand that, yes, it’s very serious. But it didn’t stop. It kept on coming and coming in this way, flooding over everyone’s head. So in this way, all these dams were backed up, they were all held and one huge rain came and the dam burst in this way. Right now is being dammed up by our damn material attachments. And as soon as we bust them down, it will flood the whole world. So thank all the Vaishnavas in hand with my madness.

The closing reminder that the time of the Maharaj Bhagi, when he brought the mother Gansu, she’s down from the spiritual sky, or rather from the upper planet when she came to this earth. Then he was driving furiously with the Ganges behind. I mean, picture the scene that the Ganges just mounting behind him, furiously roaring down. And he’s driving this way and that way and this way, with Israel digging the path for the Ganges. Well, the Ganges had an astounding leela that when she got to Navatik dam, she disappeared and he was just driving with his mouth. Suddenly she’s gone. He looks bad, she’s not there. He becomes very much astounded. So he said she told him that she took her personality form at that time and said that I want to wait. Of course, this was many jugas before Lord Chetanya’s appearance.

This is the Da of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. I want to wait till that falgun for nima, the birthday anniversary of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Then I will again manifest because I want to bathe in the Ganges. All the shihan took the ganges, just that namadhi dao. I want to again start at that time, so that at that particular day I bathed myself. And there is mentioned by Bhakti Notakar that anyone who bathes in the Ganges on this holy day of the Falgun, 45, that he has just purchased his ticket back to home, back to Ghana. So everyone can take opportunity for madsen. I made my temples in Vrindavan, near the jammuda, in my upper, near the Ganges, so people conveyed.

(Side B of the Cassette)

In this way we can bear it. In the association of this Ganges flow of all these wonderful vaishnavas who are here, and in the Ganges flow of the mother Ganges and in the flow of the nectarine Ganges of the divine words of this divine grace. Shiva, avoid channel and his transcendental books. Thank you.

Everyone.

Please move back even as that far as the DD room so we can extend the juggia arena to a.

I jack it up in the morning when I was young. Amen. And I am you might be my dream just by the everyday it amari Koshamari gaga mamade and I wanna shine I beg my heart, what is it? I am Ramdez Jay.

Bodily conception of life embodied souls neglected and not cared for by you, cannot do anything for their betterment. Whatever remedies they accept, although perhaps temporarily beneficial, are certainly impermanent. For example, a father and mother cannot protect their child, a physician and medicine cannot relieve a suffering patient, and a boat on the ocean cannot protect a drowning. Mandev Text 28 my dear Lord, because of my association with material desires, one after another, I was gradually falling into a blind well full of snakes, following the general population. But your servant Nārada Muni kindly accepted me as his disciple and instructed me how to achieve this transcendental position. Therefore, my first duty is to serve him. How could I ever leave his service?

43 o best of the great personalities, I am not at all afraid of material existence, for wherever I stay I am fully absorbed in thoughts of your glories and activities. My concern is only for the fools and rascals who are making elaborate plans for material happiness and maintaining their families, societies and countries. I am simply concerned with love for them. My dear Lord Nashringadeva, I see that there are many saintly persons indeed, but they are interested only in their own deliverance. Not caring for the big cities and towns, they go to the Himalayas or the forest, who meditate with boughs of silence. They are not interested in delivering others. As for me, however. However, I do not wish to be liberated alone.

Leaving aside all these poor fools and rascals, I know that without Kṛṣṇa consciousness, without taking shelter of your lotus feet, one cannot be happy. Therefore, I wish to bring them back to shelter at your lotus feet. Sex life is compared to the rubbing of two hands to relieve an itch. Griha madis, so called grihusters who have no spiritual knowledge think that this itching is the greatest platform of happiness, although actually it is a source of distress. The creepeners, the fools who are just the opposite of Brahmans, are not satisfied by repeated sensuous enjoyment. Those who are dearer, however, who are sober and who tolerate this itching, are not subjected to the sufferings of fools and rascals.

Chapter eleven, text 35 if one shows the symptoms of being a brahmin, Kshatriya, vaishya, or suja, even if he has appeared in a different class, he should be accepted according to those symptoms of classification. Chapter twelve text one Brahmachary Gurukule Vasandanto guru Gudo Saurada Naradamuni said, a student should practice completely controlling his senses. He should be submissive and should have an attitude of firm friendship for the spiritual master with a great vow. The Brahmachari should live at the gurukul only for the benefit of the guru. Text nine Nan Bhagni Pramadanama Samakpuman Sutama woman is like fire and man is like a butter pot. Therefore, a man should avoid associating even with his own daughter in a secluded place. Similarly, he should also avoid association with other women. One should associate with women only for important business and not otherwise.

Canto nine, chapter four, texts 18 to 20 Maharaj Ambarish always engaged his mind in meditating upon the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa, his words in describing the glories of the Lord, his hands in cleansing the lord’s temple, and his ears in hearing the words spoken by Kṛṣṇa or about Kṛṣṇa. He engaged his eyes in seeing the deity of Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa’s temples and ka’s places like Mathurā and Vrindavan. He engaged his sense of touch in touching the bodies of the Lord’s devotees. He engaged his sense of smell in smelling the fragrance of Tulsi offered to the Lord and he engaged his tongue in tasting the Lord’s prosodum. He engaged his legs in walking to the holy places and temples of the Lord, his head in bowing down before the Lord, and all his desires in serving the Lord 24 hours a day.

Indeed, Maharaj umbrish never desired anything for his own sense gratification. He engaged all his senses in devotional service in various engagements related to the Lord. This is the way to increase attachment for the Lord and be completely free from all material desires. Chapter four, text 63 the supreme Lord Narayan said to Durvasamuni, I am completely under the control of my devotees. Indeed, I am not at all independent because my devotees are completely devoid of material desires. I sit only within the cores of their hearts. What to speak of my devotee even those who are devotees of my devotee are very dear to me. Madanyanti na hupi lord Nryan said, the pure devotee is always within the core of my heart, and I am always in the heart of the pure devotee.

My devotees do not know anything else but me, and I do not know anyone else but them. Chapter 19 text 17 matra śātra duhitrava nabeviktasanavavit balavanindriya gramo vidvān samapika one should not allow oneself to sit on the same seat even with one’s own mother, sister, or daughter, for the senses are so strong that even though one is very advanced in knowledge, he may be attracted by sex. Canto ten chapter one text four glorification of the supreme Lord is performed in the Purambara system, that is, it is conveyed from spiritual master to disciple. Such glorification is relished by those no longer interested in the false, temporary glorification of this cosmic manifestation. Descriptions of the Lord are the right medicine for the conditioned soul undergoing repeated birth and death.

Therefore, who will cease hearing such glorification of the Lord except a butcher or one who is killing his own self? Chapter two, text 32 the demigods address Kṛṣṇa in the womb, O Lord aside, Lord. Although non devotees who accept severe austerities and penances to achieve the highest position may think themselves liberated, their intelligence is impure. They fall down from their position of imagined superiority because they have no regard for your lotus feet. Chapter nine text 21 nayam sukapo Bhagavān de Hinam go pekasuto ganinam chathnabutanami ho. The supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa, the son of Madhya, is accessible to devotees engaged in spontaneous, loving service, but he is not as easily accessible to mental speculators, to those striving for self realization by severe austerities and penances, or to those who consider the body the same as the self.

Chapter twelve text eleven all the coward boys used to play with Kṛṣṇa, who is the source of the Brahman effulgence for Gyanis desiring to merge into that effulgence, who is the supreme personality of Godhead for devotees who have accepted eternal servitorship and who for ordinary persons is but another ordinary child. The cowhered boys, having accumulated the results of pious activities for many lives, were able to associate in this way with the supreme Lord. How can one explain their great fortune? Chapter 14 text three Brahma addresses Kṛṣṇa those who, even while remaining situated in their established social positions, throw away the process of speculative knowledge and with their body words and mind offer all respects to descriptions of your personality and activities.

Dedicating their lives to these narrations which are vibrated by you personally and by your pure devotees, certainly conquer your lordship, although you are otherwise unconquerable by anyone within the three worlds. Text four shve, my dear Lord, devotional service unto you is the best path for self realization. If someone gives up that path and engages in the cultivation of speculative knowledge, he will simply undergo a troublesome process and will not achieve his desired result. As a person who beats an empty husk of wheat cannot get grain, one who simply speculates cannot achieve self realization. His only gain is trouble.

Text eight tatte nukum palm susamikshamano bhundana evadne my dear lord, one who earnestly awaits for you to bestow your causeless mercy upon him, all the while patiently suffering the reactions of his past misty deeds and offering you respectful obeisances with his heart, words and body, is surely eligible for liberation, for it has become his rightful claim. Text 29 my lord, if one is favored by even a slight trace of the mercy of your lord is feet, he can understand the greatness of your personality. But those who speculate to understand the supreme personality of Godhead are unable to know you, even though they continue to study the vedas for many years. Text 38 Jnananda Eva janan tu kimba hoktiya nama prabhu manaso vapasho vato vaibhavang taba go. There are people who say I know everything about Kṛṣṇa. Let them think that way.

As far as I am concerned, I do not wish to speak very much about this matter. O my lord, let me say this much. As far as your opulences are concerned, they are all beyond the reach of my mind, body and words. For those who have accepted the boat of the lotus feet of the lord, who is the shelter of the cosmic manifestation and is famous as Marari, the ocean of the material world is like the water contained in a calf’s hoofprint. Their goal is Padum Padam Vaikuṇṭha, the place where there are no material miseries, not the place where there is danger at every step.
