vyāghra tāḍāiyā yāya vanera bhitare

Jayapatākā Swami: Śrī Caitanya dāsa was fully absorbed in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he had no external consciousness in the body and in that consciousness, he chased tigers through the forest.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.427

kabhu lampha diyā uṭhe vyāghrera upare
kṛṣṇera prasāde vyāghra laṅghite nā pāre

Jayapatākā Swami: Sometimes, he would jump on a tiger’s back, and by Kṛṣṇa's mercy the tiger was not able to harm him.

mahā-ajagara-sarpa lai’ nija-kole
nirbhaye caitanya-dāsa thāke kutūhale

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.429

vyāghrera sahita khelā khelena nirbhaya
hena kṛpā kare avadhūta mahāśaya

Jayapatākā Swami: Caitanya dāsa, he would fearlessly play with tigers and all this was possible by the mercy of Lord Avadhūta Nityānanda Mahāśaya.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.430

sevaka-vatsala prabhu nityānanda-rāya
brahmāra durlabha rasa iṅgite bhuñjāya

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Nityānanda-rāya was affectionate to His servants. The ecstatic mellow that He gave is rare even for Lord Brahmā. But Lord Nityānanda Prabhu simply by the signal of His eyebrow made everyone relish - even the foolish, fallen, wretched and distressed persons.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.431

caitanya-dāsera ātma-vismṛti sarvathā
nirantara kahena ānanda-manaḥ-kathā

Jayapatākā Swami: Caitanya dāsa was always forgetful of his external self. Constantly he spoke about the transcendental bliss present in his mind.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.432

dui tina dina majji’ jalera bhitare
thākena, kakhano duḥkha nā haya śarīre

Jayapatākā Swami: For two or three days, Caitanya dāsa would remain submerged in water, but never was there any pain in his body.

Purport (by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura): Aquatics always live in the water, but land-animals are unable to stay under water for a long time. But Śrī Caitanya dāsa could live underwater like a stone without feeling any discomfort. He did not manifest any change in his consciousness.

Jayapatākā Swami: You see, everyone needs to be committed to spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and even like Saranga Ṭhākura, Lord Caitanya told him again and again he had to make at least one disciple. One day he decided the first person I see tomorrow morning, I will just initiate him. No excuse! So he went to the Ganges to take his early morning before maṇgala-ārati bath, and there was a dead body floating on the Ganges. So that was the first person he saw, he pulled him over, and chanted the initiation mantra in his ear and he came back to life! His name was Murāri Caitanya dāsa. This Caitanya dāsa sounds very similar to Murāri Caitanya dāsa. So, he came back from dead and he was not afraid of tigers, and to play in the Ganges. Whether he is the same person or not I dont know. But Lord Nityānanda by His blessings He could empower anyone.

So, everyone should think how can I spread this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, at least one person I have to give. Gaura kisora dāsa Babaji he initiated two, Vamsi dāsa Babaji was a bhajanānandi and Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura was a goṣṭhy-ānandī and by His mercy Śrīla Prabhupāda went to the West and Śrīla Prabhupāda's god-brothers also preached in India and also preached in other places. So, in this way Lord Caitanya's movement is spreading. So, all of you have to think that you have to become qualified to give the teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda and teachings of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Caitanya-caritāmṛta, at least to one person.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.433

jaḍa-prāya alakṣita sarva vyavahāra
parama uddāma siṁha-vikrama apāra

Jayapatākā Swami: All of his activities were unimprovable like almost inert, but some of his qualities were supremely ecstatic and His prowess like a lion was immeasurable.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.434

caitanya-dāsera yata bhaktira vikāra
kata vā kahite pāri—sakala apāra

Jayapatākā Swami: All the manifestations of Caitanya dāsa, all the bhakti transformations, how many can I actually describe? Everything is unlimited! Hari bol! Sakale apara!

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.435

suyogya caitanyadāsera murāri paṇḍita-mahimā—

yogya śrī-caitanya-dāsa murāri-paṇḍita
yāṅra vātāse o kṛṣṇa pāi ye niścita

Jayapatākā Swami: Here it states that Caitanya dāsa is also known as Murāri Paṇḍita and he is highly qualified, even his breeze which passed from his body one can easily obtain pure devotional service to Lord Kṛṣṇa, one gets Kṛṣṇa Himself.

Who wants Kṛṣṇa? Hari Bol!

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.436

advaitera śrī-caitanyānugatyabicārera virodhigaṇera “caitanya dāsa”ākhyāra phalgutva—

ebe keha balāya ‘caitanya-dāsa’ nāma
svapneha nā bale śrī-caitanya-guṇa-grāma

Jayapatākā Swami: Nowadays someone calls himself ‘Caitanya dāsa’, although he does not chant the glories of Lord Caitanya even in his dreams.

So, its is very cheap someone could say, oh, I am Caitanya dāsa, but the real Caitanya dāsa is one who wants to glorify Lord Caitanya.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.437

advaitera prāṇa-nātha—śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya
yāṅra bhakti-prasāde advaita satya dhanya

Jayapatākā Swami: The life and soul of Lord Advaita Ācārya is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya by whose bhakti mercy, Lord Advaita Ācārya became truly fortunate.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.438

jaya jaya advaitera ye caitanya-bhakti
yāṅhāra prasāde advaitera sarva-śakti

jaya jaya advaitera ye caitanya-bhakti
yāṅhāra prasāde advaitera sarva-śakti

Jayapatākā Swami: Jaya! Jaya! means All glories to Lord Advaita Ācārya’s devotional service to Lord Caitanya! Who was fully empowered by the mercy of Lord Caitanya.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.439

sādhu-loke advaitera e mahimā ghoṣe
keha ihā advaitera nindā hena vāse

Jayapatākā Swami: Saintly persons broadcast Advaita Ācārya’s this glory, but other people consider this an insult to Lord Advaita Ācārya.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.440

seha chāra balāya ‘caitanya-dāsa’ nāma
pāpī kemane yāya advaitera sthāna

Jayapatākā Swami: Some useless person like this may call himself Caitanya dāsa, but how can such a sinful person can attain the shelter of Advaita Ācārya?

Purport (By Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura): One duplicitous devotee of Advaita Prabhu used to call himself Caitanya dāsa. His idea was that Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya was Rādhikā and Advaita was Kṛṣṇa. But actually Lord Caitanya is the combined form of Rādhā and Govinda, and Śrī Advaita Prabhu is a devotee of Lord Caitanya. This so-called servant of Lord Caitanya was actually averse to Lord Caitanya. Śrī Advaita Prabhu became fully empowered simply by the mercy of Lord Caitanya. Yet that ativāḍī, or overly proud person, who considered himself a devotee of Advaita did not realize this fact and thought that such a statement was an insult to Śrī Advaita. Anyone who considers this sinful person a follower of Advaita could not and can not understand the mentality of Advaita.

Jayapatākā Swami: Advaita Ācārya, He was very happy and very proud to be a devotee of Lord Caitanya. Since Lord Caitanya would offer Lord Advaita respect because He was the god-brother of Lord Caitanya's guru, but Advaita Ācārya would do things just to get Lord Caitanya to disrespect him, but that was the relationship that he wanted with the Lord.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.441

e pāpīre ‘advaitera loka’ bale ye
advaita-hṛdaya kabhu nāhi jāne se

Jayapatākā Swami: One who calls such a sinful person to be a follower of Advaita Acarya never understands the heart of Advaita.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.442

rākṣasera nāma yena kahe ‘puṇya-jana’
ei mata e saba caitanya-dāsa-gaṇa

Jayapatākā Swami: The name of a rākṣasa, demon may be called by the name puṇya-jana, or pious person. In this way, people who claim to be Caitanya dāsa a servant of Lord Caitanya are actually against Lord Caitanya, they should be considered as such.

Even Rāvaṇa, he was a demon, he was rākṣasa, but he was born in a brāhmaṇa family. One does not consider his identity based by what he was born as, but how he acts . If someone calls himself Caitanya dasa and doesn’t glorify Lord Caitanya, doesn’t serve Lord Caitanya, he simply blasphemes the Lord, then he is not a devotee, he is demon.

In Sanskrit language the phrase puṇya-jana is used as a synonym for Rākṣasa, or demon. Therefore, to call oneself Caitanya dāsa is simply a method of deceiving people. Those who do not understand the deep meaning of the phrase puṇya-jana consider that it has a good connotation, but in actuality it is used to give the opposite meaning. Similarly, if names like Caitanya dāsa are not indicative of the actual meaning but are used to indicate an offender of Lord Caitanya, then the person with such a name can never become an actual servant of Lord Caitanya.

Thus ends the chapter entitled, ‘Caitanya dāsa’ is Like Puṇya-jana – A Demon!
Under the section: The Pastimes of Nityānanda

Real Caitanya dāsa he was actually a very powerful devotee, some imitations Caitanya dāsa is not devotees, we could see the persons by his activities not simply by his birth.

Haribol!
