nityānanda vasiyā āchena siṁhāsane
sammukhe karaye nṛtya pāriṣada-gaṇe

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Nityānanda was sitting on the siṁhāsana, in front of Him His associates were dancing.

keha giyā vṛkṣera upara-ḍāle caḍe
pāte pāte veḍāya, tathāpi nāhi paḍe

Jayapatākā Swami: Somebody climbed up a tree's branches and leaf to leaf he was moving about but he did not fall.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.306

keha keha prema-sukhe huṅkāra kariyā
vṛkṣera upare thāki’ paḍe lampha diyā

Jayapatākā Swami: Someone was absorbed in great happiness of love of Kṛṣṇa and loudly roared. He was on the top of a tree and he jumped down from the top pf the tree.

Like monkeys, he was on top of a tree and jumped down .

upāḍiyā phele vṛkṣa bali’ ‘hari hari’

gācha-pāñca-sāta-guyā ekatra kariyā

Jayapatākā Swami: Someone went running into a betel nut forest, he grabbed five or seven trees of betel nut and uprooted them together.

I don't know if you know what a betelnut tree is like, they are small but they grow tall and they are like miniature coconuts, five or seven is not a joke.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.309

hena se dehete janmiyāche prema-bala
tṛṇa-prāya upāḍiyā phelāya sakala

Jayapatākā Swami: His associate's body was filled with prema and he had this unimaginable strength like blades of grass, he would out trees and throw them down.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.310-312

aśru, kampa, stambha, gharma, pulaka, huṅkāra
svara-bhaṅga, vaivarṇya, garjana, siṁhasāra

śrī-ānanda-mūrcchā-ādi yata prema-bhāva
bhāgavate kahe yata kṛṣṇa-anurāga

sabāra śarīre pūrṇa haila sakala
hena nityānanda-svarūpera prema-bala

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Nityānanda Svarūpa, simply by His glance He gave the blessings of ecstatic love. All the symptoms erupted in the body - tears, trembling, stunned, perspiring, hairs standing on end, loudly shouting, throat choked up, changing colors, turning pale, thundering, roaring like a lion, and falling unconscious in ecstasy.

So, the ecstatic glance of Lord Nityānanda Svarūpa, everyone’s body became filled with ecstatic loving symptoms for Kṛṣṇa.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.313

ye-dike dekhena nityānanda mahāśaya
sei dike mahā-prema-bhakti-vṛṣṭi haya

Jayapatākā Swami: Whatever direction Lord Nityānanda Mahāśaya would see, in that direction there was a great shower of ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.314

yāhāre cāhena, se-i preme mūrcchā pāya
vastra nā samvare, bhūme paḍi’ gaḍi’ yāya

Jayapatākā Swami: Whoever Lord Nityānanda looked, He lost consciousness i ecstatic love, he rolled on the ground, forgetting his cloth. His cloth was not maintained.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.315

nityānanda-svarūpere dharibāre dhāya
hāse nityānanda prabhu vasiyā khaṭṭāya

Jayapatākā Swami: When the devotees tried to catch Lord Nityānanda Svarūpa and they were running here and there, laughing, Lord Nityānanda Prabhu sat on the throne.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.316

sakalera dehe sarvaśaktira adhiṣṭhāna—

yata pāriṣada nityānandera pradhāna
sabāre haila sarva-śakti-adhiṣṭhāna

Jayapatākā Swami: All the principal associates of Lord Nityānanda Prabhu who were present, in all of them, all the opulences, all the potencies appeared.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.317

sakalera sarvajñatā o vāksiddha—

sarva-jñatā vāk-siddhi haila sabāra
sabe hailena yena kandarpa-ākāra

Jayapatākā Swami: His associates became omniscient and whatever they spoke came true. Their beautiful features resembled those of Cupid.

Purport (By His Divine Grace Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Śrīla Prabhupāda): The principal devotees of Śrī Nityānanda became filled with various potencies and began to display many wonderful feats. They were omniscient, which is rare among human beings, their words came true, and their bodies manifest beautiful features.

Jayapatākā Swami: Just by the glance of Lord Nityānanda Svarūpa His associates manifested unlimited potencies.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.318

sabe yāre paraśa karena hasta
diyāse-i haya vihvala sakala pāsariyā

Jayapatākā Swami: When these associates touched anyone with their hands, the person touched became overwhelmed with ecstasy and forgot everything in the external world.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.319

pānīhāṭī-grāme tinamāsa nityānandera bhaktiprakāśa—

ei-rūpe pānihāṭī-grāme tina māsa
nityānanda prabhu kare bhaktira vilāsa

Jayapatākā Swami: In this way Lord Nityānanda Prabhu, He remained in Pānihāṭi village for three months and He relished devotional service.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.320

tina-māsa kāro bāhya nāhika śarīre
deha-dharma tilārdheko kāre nāhi sphure

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.321

tina-māsa keha nāhi karila āhāra
sabe prema-sukhe nṛtya bai nāhi āra

Jayapatākā Swami: For three months nobody ate anything, they were so filled with loving happiness, they simply danced in the happiness of ecstatic love and did nothing else.

In the Parikramā if they are late for prasāda they complain, here for three months they were dancing and chanting they didn’t think about prasāda.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.322

pānīhāṭī-grāme nityānandera prema-varṣaṇa cārivedera varṇanīya vyāpāra—

pānihāṭī-grāme yata haila prema-sukha
cāri vede varṇibeka se saba kautuka

Jayapatākā Swami: The happiness of ecstatic love that manifest in the village of Pānihāṭi, describing them in the four Vedas is also very rare.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.323

ekodaṇḍe nityānanda karilena yata
tāhā varṇibāra śakti āche kāra kata

Jayapatākā Swami: Who has the ability to describe all the pastimes that Lord Nityānanda performed in half hour?

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.324

kṣaṇe kṣaṇe āpane karena nṛtya-raṅga
catur-dike lai’ saba pāriṣada-saṅga

Jayapatākā Swami: From moment to moment, Lord Nityānanda blissfully engaged in the happiness of dancing. He danced in all directions taking all of the associates with Him.
