mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
Harihi oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: (Audio not clear) The meaning of initiation is that we get linked to the guru-paramparā. And have you all taken the vows and said the four regulative principles? Has anyone not taken any vows?  Has anyone broken the four regulative principles? Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu wanted that all the conditioned souls get delivered. You should all try to reach out the message of Lord Caitanya to everyone. I want all my disciples, male and female, will try to reach out the message of Lord Caitanya to everyone. If you spread this message, then you will get the mercy of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu and Pañca-tattva. Our previous ācāryas had endeavored and spread the message of Lord Caitanya also. My spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda has reached out and spread the message of Lord Caitanya all over the world. And Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda, he also has preached this message of Lord Caitanya. Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura also sent his writings, his books to the Western world. The Six-Gosvāmīs had written many scriptures and Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s philosophy has been written down by them in this way. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, he has mentioned about offering some degrees on the study of his books. Bhagavad-gītā, Nectar of Devotion, Īśopaniṣad (Nectar of Instruction) are the books of the basis of the Bhakti-śāstrī degree. The first six cantos of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam are to be studied for the Bhakti-vaibhava degree. From the 7^th to the 12^th cantos of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam are to be studied for the Bhaktivedanta degree. The Caitanya-caritāmṛta, etc. are to be studied for the Bhakti-Sārvabhauma degree. This way, I want that you earn your degrees by study of these books. So we have to finish the initiation quick because this is the prasāda hall and devotees have to honor prasāda here.
