iti teṣāṁ mahārāja

śaṅkha-cakra-gadā-dharaḥ
Translation by His Divine Grace: Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: My dear King, when all the demigods offered Him their prayers, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Hari, carrying His weapons, the conchshell, disc and club, appeared first within their hearts and then before them.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 6.9.29-30
ātma-tulyaiḥ ṣoḍaśabhir
vinā śrīvatsa-kaustubhau
paryupāsitam unnidra-
śarad-amburuhekṣaṇam
dṛṣṭvā tam avanau sarva
īkṣaṇāhlāda-viklavāḥ
daṇḍavat patitā rājañ
chanair utthāya tuṣṭuvuḥ
Translation: Surrounding and serving the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nārāyaṇa, were sixteen personal attendants, decorated with ornaments and appearing exactly like Him but without the mark of Śrīvatsa and the Kaustubha jewel. O King, when all the demigods saw the Supreme Lord in that posture, smiling with eyes like the petals of lotuses grown in autumn, they were overwhelmed with happiness and immediately fell down like rods, offering daṇḍavats. Then they slowly rose and pleased the Lord by offering Him prayers.
Purport: In Vaikuṇṭhaloka the Supreme Personality of Godhead has four hands and decorations like the Śrīvatsa mark on His chest and the gem known as Kaustubha. These are special indications of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Lord's personal attendants and other devotees in Vaikuṇṭha have the same features, except for the Śrīvatsa mark and the Kaustubha gem.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 6.9.31
śrī-devā ūcuḥ
namas te yajña-vīryāya
vayase uta te namaḥ
namas te hy asta-cakrāya
namaḥ supuru-hūtaye
Translation: The demigods said: O Supreme Personality of Godhead, You are competent to give the results of sacrifice, and You are also the time factor that destroys all such results in due course. You are the one who releases the cakra to kill the demons. O Lord, who possess many varieties of names, we offer our respectful obeisances unto You.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 6.9.32
yat te gatīnāṁ tisṛṇām
īśituḥ paramaṁ padam
nārvācīno visargasya
dhātar veditum arhati
Translation: O supreme controller, You control the three destinations [promotion to the heavenly planets, birth as a human being, and condemnation in hell], yet Your supreme abode is Vaikuṇṭha-dhāma. Since we appeared after You created this cosmic manifestation, Your activities are impossible for us to understand. We therefore have nothing to offer You but our humble obeisances.
Purport: An inexperienced man generally does not know what to beg from the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Everyone is under the jurisdiction of the created material world, and no one knows what benediction to ask when praying to the Supreme Lord. People generally pray to be promoted to the heavenly planets because they have no information of Vaikuṇṭhaloka. Śrīla Madhvācārya quotes the following verse:
deva-lokāt pitṛ-lokāt
nirayāc cāpi yat param
tisṛbhyaḥ paramaṁ sthānaṁ
vaiṣṇavaṁ viduṣāṁ gatiḥ
There are different planetary systems, known as Devaloka (the planets of the demigods), Pitṛloka (the planet of the Pitās) and Niraya (the hellish planets). When one transcends these various planetary systems and enters Vaikuṇṭhaloka, he achieves the ultimate resort of the Vaiṣṇavas. Vaiṣṇavas have nothing to do with the other planetary systems.
Thus end the Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada translation purport of text 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32 of the chapter 9 Canto 6 Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam the matter of the “Appearance of the Demon Vṛtrāsura”.

Jayapatākā Swami: So daily is a pretty good, pretty successful prayer. They’re praying as the Supreme Lord and the supreme Lord entered into their hearts and then appeared visibly before them. How many would like that type of blessing from the Lord re entering your heart and appear before you?
Anybody that wants to see the Lord. This deva is very fortunate. They pray to the Lord and the Lord appears. And of course ultimately what they ask for that’s important. Sometimes the Lord appears to the devotee. Then the devotee asks for something which isn’t so. Important. Prophet said if you go to some big multi billionaire and then you’re in this office and what do you want? Oh, I just wanted to see you. Can I have the ashes from your cigarette tray as a souvenir? Pretty ridiculous because the first thing you can do so much if you wanted to. So Śrīdhar Mahra recently wrote out that came at the Internet or something. Someone sent a message that the main actor in the Matrix Mr. Says that he’d like to donate $50 million to something. He doesn’t need so much money to make so much profit.
Just trying to find a good cause. Anybody Annula I mean. So some people to go to Hama. I went to Shaman Brunch and present exhibition on the Māyā in the temple Ayurvedic Planetarium the original Matrix. Of course probably the Devas really has to get saved from these demons who are attacking especially with Ritra sword. But we will see. But the point is that the Lord he didn’t give anything when Makande Rishi and the Darshan of Nārāyaṇayan Rishi then Nārāyaṇayan Rishi offered anything he wanted. Then he asked for the blessing that he could understand the material illusion. He wanted to understand how Māyā worked. That was his request. So Nana Ryan kind of smiled because not everybody gets to see the supreme personal. Gandhi gets the opportunity to ask for anything.
He could have asked to get out of the material world or to get out of Kṛṣṇa so many things. Instead he wanted to know how the material world works. So that was going to put him in a Lot of difficulty because learning how it works and I knew what that was going to mean for him. That’s why he smiled. You had your chance for your bully. Okay? That’s what you want. That’s what you’re going to get. Sometimes we get the opportunity just like now. Shomi Prabhupāda Disciples of Lamenting I was with Śrīla Prabhupāda had so many opportunities to serve him. So many opportunities to give some special blessings. But I didn’t take as much utilization of the opportunities I had. Anybody feel like that any problem or the sight of those people wish they could. So the who else? So what happened?
Of course Mark in the Orishi. All of a sudden he’s meditating his ashram, his little ashram started filling up with water. The whole world floods. He’s being bashed around in the floodwaters. All kinds of dangerous aquatics are attacking him. He’s in a complete distressful situation. And then all of a sudden he sees a big banyan tree with Kṛṣṇa on a leaf. Kṛṣṇa is sucking his toe, little baby. And Kṛṣṇa breathes in and breathes in the ranayamishi and boop. He’s back in his asha. Everything’s dry and normal. Nothing ever happened. Kṛṣṇa breathes out again back on the roller coaster, bashing around in the waves. The idea is actually the whole machelusyam Kṛṣṇa creates is divine potency. Scientists are trying to figure out all the elements and the quantum mechanics and so many different things.
They don’t realize whatever it is, it was all something created by the will of Kṛṣṇa. And that’s what’s really amazing. So what’s really more wonderful than trying to understand how the material world works is to understand Kṛṣṇa. There was this one Rishi and he was a great devotee of Brahma. He always wanted to know what it was like to be a Brahma. So finally, after worshiping Brahma very faithfully one day Brahma appeared to him and said what blessings you want? He said I would like the blessing just even for just one moment. If I can see things from your point of view. I want to see things like the Brahma does. Well, I never heard of that blessing before. I don’t know what’s going to happen if I give you that blessing. No, that’s all I want.
It’s at your own risk because it’s never been done before. Nobody knows what’s going to happen if you start seeing things from my point of view. No, that’s all I want is give me that blessing. So Then he said, okay, you’re going to have that blessing, you know, this particular day, at 12 o’ clock exactly at 12, you will have the vision of seeing things as I see them. You guys, already and early time is coming up. Five minutes. 3, 2, 1. It’s like a mass off for you. Coming down. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. His brain exploded. Because how can a human brain, which is so puny, hold all that data and all that information that a Brahman has. He knows everything going on in the entire universe. All the planets systems, all the galaxies, everything.
He knows what’s going on. He’s got billions of times more capacitor. His consciousness, the Brahmaska went into his puny human brain. It completely exploded into smithereens. Rishi died instantaneously. But because he died totally Brahma conscious, he took birth at Satya Loka. Brahma said that now you can be there with Brahma in some way. Like you find out different people ask for other things, you know, like first you got the demons. They ask really crazy things. Like the one who asked Vritasur, who asked for taking off people’s heads. I saw a really beautiful presentation of that at Tirupati a couple years ago at their Janmastami, where normally it has that. Śiva is running everywhere trying to get help. And then he goes to see Lord Vishnu. So then sometimes it says that he was Vishnu took the form of a Brahmin young boy.
But in this case, I don’t know if it was a dramatic license or if there’s also some other puranic evidence for this. He took the form of Mahini Morti, the female form. So when the demon came up, he was very attractive to Mahini. So I want to marry you. You’re so beautiful. How do I know you’re great after me. Give me a test. You have to dance anything. I dance. You can dance? Why I dance. Then I will consider no problem. So then he started dancing so that when he didn’t work, he did that. So this was like a dance troupe. So then she did, you know, This guy was the B1. He’s a big fat guy, but he’s a good dancer, you know. It was really funny, but he more or less did what she did.
Then she said, okay, then this will go up and like it’s going on for about 10 minutes. And it popped back and forth, going faster and faster, more intense more. And so it’s going on and then suddenly, then all of a sudden she does this one move. You know, And his head blew off. That was really funny. And of course you get Chaitanya Leela. He had Nikola Veitchasidar. When Lord Chaitanya was in the Mahabra Kais. Then he said, bring Kola Vecha. And then two, four devotees went over to his ashram where he had his banana orchards. And they said, now you have to come. Lord Chitani wants to see you. And they said, me, I am just very simple. I sell bananas. Go. Runga Mahāprabhu wants to see me? Yes, he wants to see you. He fainted. It was like too much. So humble.
What do they do? Pick him up and carry him over to Lord Chaitanya. And then they carried him over there, put in front of Gaurāṅga. He came conscious there. He sees Gaurāṅga in his divine form. Advaita’s offering the 22 hour Aarti. And Lord Chaitanya is completely effulgent. You only see him. You don’t see anything else in the universe. But he and his devotees, Nityānanda Fanny with a chamara, someone else is holding a chacha, an umbrella. And Priestly so overwhelmed. It’s very obvious who our Chaitani is. He’s got now he’s revealing himself as supreme personality of God yet. So Lord Chitanya, excuse me that you’re always serving me. So nice. So now I want to give you a blessing. Anything you want. What do you want? No, no, I am just happy to serve you. I don’t need anything. No, no.
When you come before the supreme Lord and he offers you a blessing, you got to take something. This is like what the Lord does. Go to see him. He offers you a blessing. You got to take something. You don’t get away without taking something. It’s like going to your grandmother’s. Something you have to take. So he wasn’t taking anything. So then the Lord Gaurāṅga started offering different things. Well, look, I will make you a king. You have your own kingdom with, you know, so many ministers and servants and army and everything. And be a king. I don’t want to be a king. That’s all very good. No, no, I don’t want that. Well, you gotta take something. What do you want? I am not very happy. You have to take something. Okay, well, I will tell you what. I will give you mystic powers.
Anima, prakti, lahima, all the mystic powers. You can have that. Anything you want. Anything you can. All you can get. I don’t want mystic speed, okay? I don’t want that. You gotta take something. Listen. Okay, I will give you what even Brahma and Shiva, they’re very. You forget you can have impersonal realization and merge into my Jyoti. No, not that. Please, please. What do you want? You have to take something. Okay, if I have to take something hard, I tell you what I would like is that I can. See that smiling face of the Brāhmaṇa voyage Oranga, and that I can provide you with your vegetables and fruit leaves and that I can see you at every incarnation and do this service.
But in case I am not qualified for that, then please, at least allow me to be born in a family of your devotees so that I can serve your Lord’s feet. Here’s how. Anything, anything he wanted in all three worlds, he would have gotten liberation. What he wanted was the service of the Supreme Lord. If he couldn’t get that, he would be born in the family of devotees. How fortunate are the children who are born in a family of devotees. Not only one of them appreciate that, but some do. And really very fortunate. They can finish off their uncompleted tasks in this lifetime. So the Lord Shaitanya said, okay, I am going to give you something that even Brahma and Shiva are really here to give. They can’t give it easy. I am going to give you the highest blessing I have.
I am going to give you pure love for Kṛṣṇa. And. Then when all the devotees heard that, you know, I mean, he’s like something. The flea market sells bananas or something. I mean, he’s just like a simple guy. He’s not ready, but he’s a pure devotee. Maybe in the flea market, but he’s a pure devotee. I heard some of our devotees or a few markets, right, sell stuff sometimes, but very simple. I mean, not even a feed. This is a street crocker banana kicker, banana rolling, jumbos, whatever. You know, in Bengal they have all kinds of bananas. They have got chini champa, they got maktawan. Cheechampas are the small ones that when they’re ripe, they’re very sweet. When they’re ripe, they taste sour. I read a scientific report. They have the highest percentage of vitamin C of any banana.
That’s why if they’re not ripe, they taste sour. But when they’re ripe, they’re very sweet and they’re very healthy. There’s another one called Markdalan Brown Anatomy that in Africa they call these the. They call chinny champa butter bananas. And they call These, they’re almost like. Almost like a strawberry scent, slightly aromatic scent to them. Very light, very big. There’s only varieties of bananas india, South India. They’re the big red ones. But they were cinnamon bananas and Sam I wasn’t. But now he’s going to get pure love of Kṛṣṇa. He’s going to get what even the Devas, even Indra, they don’t have very much hope to get this pure love for Kṛṣṇa. Brahma and Shiva are really great. Devotees often get it.
So he was given that blessing and all the devotees became man and angst to see that how choleric is to have pure love for Kṛṣṇa. They’re pulling out their hair, they’re rolling in the ground. Actually they’re just chanting. So you see different devotees again offered some kinds of blessings and different blessings I give them. The secretary of Ramanuja chariot. Sacrificed himself to save Ramanuja. There was a fanatical Shivite king who sent his soldiers to arrest Ramanuja and bring him to the court. But then Ramanuja was warned. So his secretary who was a Grihasta, he took the sannyas robes of Ramanujacharya and gave his Vihasta robes to Ramanujacharya and sent him out the back of the house and they went off into the jungle and went to a neighboring kingdom and escaped.
Meanwhile the secretary posed that he was Ramanuja and he was taken to the king’s court where he was asked to declare that Lord Shiva was the supreme God and not Vishnu. And then he said, well, Shiva is the greatest devotee but Vishnu is the supreme God. Then the king became very angry and said, you are very insolent. And you born Shiva, you refuse to see the light. And so then he told his people, if you’re blind to the truth, I am going to blind you. And so they poked out his eyes to blindness. So then he was staying at the Bhargraj Vishnu temple and regularly chanting Bhajans for the Devī. And then Bhagraja offered him a blessing. The deity spoke, said, I will give you any blessing you want. What do you want?
And he said, I’d like you to forgive the people that did this to me because they didn’t know what to do anyway. Then second he continued chanting. After some more time Hadid again offered any blessing. That time again he prayed for other people like they should be blessed. Then he went to see Ramanuja to visit Maraminuja Charya took him a long time to walk from Snebhini over almost about 150, 200 kilometers to a blind person walking must take quite some time. He got down to the audience of Ramanuja and pray this obey Ramanuja chariot said, I am very happy to see his secretary Thomas. And I heard the deity offered you twice a blessing. You don’t want to take anything for yourself. But the next time, if the deity ever offers you a blessing again, please ask something for me.
Tell him that your spiritual master has some property with which is defective and he would like to have his property repaired and restored to its proper functional condition. Just ask that. So then I think the name of the secretary went back and was against Sinibacha Bhargraj. And then the deity I can sometimes often again bless him. You can have whatever you want. I am so happy with your worship. Then he remembered what his guru said. My guru has some property which is to be back to. He wants it to be restored. Please fulfill my Guru Maharaj’s desire. As soon as he say that poop, he got his eyes back. Because he was the property of his guru. And the guru wanted him to get back his eyesight so he could do some useful service.
And then he wouldn’t ask anything for himself to do such a pure devotee. So the guru had to thank him. Some reverse psychotic, indirect. It’s not a different devotees. What are you going to ask for? I asked what’s he going to class? And somehow something like this came up. I asked some of the kids, what do you want to ask for? And the one said, you know, I want the next monopoly. You know I want. Any here. Any ideas what you want? A Christian offering, Think you can have it? One told me I want to do bicycle. Any volunteers here? What would you want? Fishing, Operating your head? Yeah, okay. Sewing fool. When does this one? You gotta ask for something the Lord wants to give you. Or are you going to ask for? You got to ask for something.
Okay, parents, you know what your job is. We don’t tend to see the long distance. I tend to see our Ameliad priority. Let’s see what the David asked for. They know. They do know. They say, Lord, you’re the Lord of the supreme world. You can give blessings of icon of the heavenly planets and earth and hell. Lord are the three destinations. Well, if we ever Christian, whoever comes, reveals himself to us and asks for blessing, we should know what we’re going to ask for, right? Śrīpati, what were you going to ask for? To what? I would wish that the youth of this movement will be strong enough to continue and complete. An evil shock. What we desire and what we that propels us. That’s like. That’s kind of like the steering wheel.
According to how much devotional service we do, how much tapasya we do, whatever, how much punya karma. The person can go in a particular direction and what their desire is, where they have. Someone may desire to win the lottery. They may not get first place. They may get third place or something. Also depends on what they deserve, how much trauma they have. Someone may want to be a king, but he’s got about as much good karma. He can become a county clerk or something. Instead of becoming the president of the United States, he gets to become the local sheriff. That’s, you know, it depends how much the good karma you got. It’s like you may want to do something, but whether you deserve it. Of course, the Kṛṣṇa officer. Then you know that sky’s the limit, you know? Right? He has that capacity.
There was this time when the Brāhmaṇa he pleased the Ganges. And the Ganges offered the Brahmin anything he could, anything he wanted. And the Brahmin just saw how the Ganges and liberated. He sprinkled some water on this dead atheist. But the atheist got totally liberated and taken back to God just by the touch of the Ganges water. So he prayed, when I die, I want to be touching the water and I want to. Be able to serve the supreme personality in Yahya. If that’s not possible, then at least I like to again. He also like to be born in a family of devotees. Some people, they prayed for the well being of the whole universe. Right? Who was another person that was praying? That was Vasudevartha. He asked for the blessing to take all the karma of all the people, all the suffering.
But all that was given to him and let everybody get love of Kṛṣṇa. And he was really serious. I have tasted love of Kṛṣṇa. I know how wonderful it is. So better let one person suffer that all these people are suffering. They’re all deprived from the wonderful experience of Lord Kṛṣṇa. Let me suffer and let them all enjoy. Let one suffer them so many. He was so compassionate and it was so moving. He was really serious about it. He was like, I mean, Jesus was also. They say he was crucified. Of course he. Joe wouldn’t say wasn’t crucified. He was tied up on a stake. The cross is a myth. There’s no evidence of that. So they say. Anyway, everyone’s got their different. Anyway, he definitely suffered. And he and People consider he died or suffered for people’s sins.
So those who follow him, that they get forgiven or they get forgiven by him because he died for his sins. That’s the mantra that they tell us. So probably Raj Sude Dakta, he was saying, I could follow. He was taking everybody’s karma. Whether they were devotees, whether they were demons, whether they were followers, whether they were spaced out, whatever they were, he was being. Everybody reacts simply out of compassion. Lord says that he was so special. Most Merciful. Of course, Lord Chittagvas. Why would Kṛṣṇa force you to suffer? You’re in spirit, devotee, simply by your destruction. Desire to deliver everybody. And they’re already delivered. They’re all going to be delivered. Pārvatī was so angry when she didn’t get the Mahaprashada of Nārāyaṇa. She asked for the blessing. That anybody wants the Mahatra stuff, let him get it.
You don’t have to suffer like I did, being deprived of Mahā. Vash Hashan. And Vishnu said, when they ask for that blessing, if everybody even smells prasad, the whole universe, they will get liberated. The whole universe will be empty. You will have an empty universe, empty material world. By that point she was so angry. I don’t care. But at least they shouldn’t be deprived if they want it. Unfortunately, so many people, they don’t even want Prasad, right? They don’t know about Prasad. They only worries of Prasada. But at least if you want it in Jagannathura, you can get it. So very interesting point that whatever someone gets that opportunity to see the Lord behind, he will offer you that blessing. You don’t need a big swimming pool. You can transfer it over to Hawaii. Whole ocean sound, big ocean swimming pool.
Or you can be transferred to Gologori Naman. And there you can submit in the Jamuna river, the spiritual Jamuna, and play with Kṛṣṇa in the fields. You don’t have to grow up and get a job. You can just play with Kṛṣṇa with the cows. Kṛṣṇas have all kinds of swimming pools. Rādhākund, Shyam, Kundh, Govindakund, Surya Kund, Khusum, Sarovam. He went made in the different Kundas. I don’t remember all the Kundas right there. So Prabhakunda, Kṛṣṇa, lots of swimming pools. If you can develop your desire to go on dates with Kṛṣṇa in the swimming pools of Vrindavana, then you will be doing really great. So. You have so many plans and so many spiritual desires. Just like. It’s quite bona fide to desire to do different Services for Kṛṣṇa go to Brim Navarra. Let me take you to. What’s that place called? Brim Nakunda.
They say how Tulsi Devī is actually in the form of Vrinda Devī. She’s in charge of all of Kṛṣṇa’s fast tanks. And she’s got something like 100,000 if I am not mistaken. Parrots, Birds, parrots. And they constantly flying over Vrindavan and back and telling her all the different things going on. And she just talks out with a little council they got there. What’s going to be the pastimes today? Which demons are going to come? Which Leela is going to happen? And then so she’s like pulling the strings a little Tulsi there, super powerful. Organizing Kṛṣṇa’s Leela for the day. Surprising everybody with new and interesting Leelas. How creative she must be. Come up with all these amazing pastimes. Brinder Day King. When we’re in the pastimes, the Lord Chaitanya extended pastimes like the annex. Use your ability. Everybody’s in the spirit.
How to actually spread Lord Chaitanya’s mercy. Use the ability from how to reach people. How to save them from the questions of this illusory energy. Most people, they don’t have a very elevated desire. About what they should desire. Not paying devotees to always thinking about others. They don’t want to harm anybody. Some people, they want power to destroy that one demon. It’s power to destroy Shipurasur. He got one of the special airplane that he could conquer the universe. Renikashi probably wanted a superpower to never be killed by anybody. So all kinds of people that want all kinds of things. The devotees, they wanted to serve Kṛṣṇa. They wanted to see everybody become devotees in Kṛṣṇa. Things like that. He liked to see Prabhupāda’s desires fulfilled. That he wanted a Hare Kṛṣṇa conscious world.
It’s gone fully developed and taken care of the devotees nicely and preaching dynamically. Temple of any planetarium built and functioning nicely in Vayanthua city. 12 Cities around the world. Maybe that Muttala won’t be one of the spiritual cities. So. Everything’s possible for Kṛṣṇa. All we have to do is serve Kṛṣṇa. But whatever he wants, he can. He can get it. Nothing’s inconceivable for him. Nothing’s out of his realm of possibilities. Even as we’re serving, he may not appear to us. Even then he fulfills the desires. We have to be careful because sometimes we may desire things which will keep us here in the material world. Just that much longer take us further away from Kṛṣṇa. Usually for the devotees who does engage things that take them away from him.
Rather he gives them some experiences in the mature world so that they adjust their perspective and start to desire the right things. Sometimes there is. Everybody thinks everything’s going. Someone thinks everything’s going really great. And all of a sudden the bottom line starts to become difficult. And then they start losing their friends and family, starts to fall apart. All kinds of things may happen. You realize that nothing in this material world is dependable. No other friends, nor anything. The only thing that we can really depend upon is Kṛṣṇa and his pure representatives. Once we get that realization, then Kṛṣṇa gives us back whatever we need. Any question? Comments? The last comment. Everything is temporary. Our relationship is not really. Our relationship is with Kṛṣṇa. But how much energy should we put, let’s say, With our friend and husband and children compared to Kṛṣṇa?
Because we have to live in this world, do everything for Kṛṣṇa. Well, also because you love your children and you want them. The other guys, you want them also. Kṛṣṇa, sometimes somehow things get. Everybody knows it doesn’t mean you don’t love your children, you don’t love your husband. All those things can be there. And just that, you know that it’s not. Temporary. It’s not 100% dependable. You want them, you want to connect them with Kṛṣṇa. Therefore everybody can connect with Kṛṣṇa. Everything you can do for Kṛṣṇa that’s eternal. So devotees, they also have these different relationships. But then. Their relationship with Kṛṣṇa is the focus. It’s more stronger. She loves Śrī Kṛṣṇa. But then the Bhavshatama kills her five sons and her sleep. And it was devastating for her mother. She was crying and she was very much devastated.
But then after, you know, someday she got herself together. And then she went to Kṛṣṇa and said, whatever happens, you’re my only shelter. She was such a strong devotional Kṛṣṇa. Sometimes a horrible thing happened with one of them. People lose their faith. Sham holds her faith. There are some special personalities that could come in and associate with the Pandavas and Kṛṣṇa for some time. And then before Kṛṣṇa was leaving, they had to be taken back. Who knows? Worldly, we are seeing things, dimension, you know, which is a very, you know, we’re seeing things from a whole different perspective. People are brought into this dimension and taken out. We don’t really know what’s. What’s going on. It’s like people taking fish out of a fishbowl or something.
You don’t know, put in the ocean or put them in an aquarium or where they’re going to be taken. What’s going to happen? We just see our part of the world. But we know. But there’s a whole bigger picture. And Kṛṣṇa has the handle on that picture. So although there’s a natural attachment that develop we don’t want that to become too much that we forget about our service to Kṛṣṇa. That’s the main thing. Otherwise while we’re here. But Lord, she tells us to do your service expertly. Everything you’re totally attached and keep your heart. Exultantly. Everything goes through changes and I was wild. So we want to keep that while we’re in a prayer also. You know, Prabhupāda doesn’t deny that we have attachments. It just sends nothing of those things. Love is also natural.
We just don’t want to blind us that we forget. That all fits in with Kṛṣṇa. When I love oneself to go back to Kṛṣṇa. Why should I just take birth again and again? Trust around the roller coaster. Okay. Any other śrīpati matanji. Passive serving Kṛṣṇa gives us the intelligence. Teaching kids is not a small thing. Hopefully you can train the children vibrant in so much Kṛṣṇa consciousness and practical skills and education. At the end of the day they can do something also. They can sound really wonderful. Well that. That’s somebody’s desire. They want to do mass personum marketing. You can study that teaching. It’s like the devotees. They don’t know how to draw the pictures when you’re adding problems. Just keep drawing. If you research it and see how successful franchises and successful food.
Is to distribution programs that are existing in the material world then you can. Find some consultant somebody who knows how to do it. Get that experience a little bit at least know how it works. See how that would apply to some Kṛṣṇa conscious food writers. In in Peru the devotees make small tanks of a little snack like energy bars with kiwincha and ambient mountain grains. But I don’t know if that breaks it that break anyway. I don’t think so. I think they take it up because felt exactly a grain like a grain. Anyway they distribute those things and it’s in the marketplaces. It’s in the grocery stores. 10,000 A day or something. You know they picked it up Grant you appreciate it once you do something also.
But if you get see how other people maybe don’t have to learn my trowel ear so much. Somebody has a desire to do something and they go on and ask the people that know how they’re already doing it. Know how to do it. Get some ideas. Kṛṣṇa also gives intelligence or get somebody who knows who can do it to manage the affair. Right. There’s some of these big corporate heads that don’t manage the company. They hire some CEO and general manager, quality control manager, operations manager, marketing manager. They all, you know, they hire. Once you get big, they just had the idea and the. And they somehow generated the gothic capital invested. Pardon? Smoothie. Smoothie King. Are there smoothies? Vegetarian, huh? Some of them. Which ones are. Which ones are rather. Except protein powder. Put them on you, sarah. Csmodi king.
They have this virus in New Zealand Air flights for first and business class. I heard that Kellogg’s was made by a religious group originally. Wanted to get people off of eating me. It’s a pretty big company. Any other question? Shradna. Shradna. Two questions. First off, how do we find the fate to remember? And my second question is, how do we find out what our spiritual, what our services are? How to develop faith? Well, We start off with faith in devotees and faith in Kṛṣṇa. Sometimes because people put out a faith in a particular devotee and the devotee didn’t live up to that faith. And then people tend to reject Kṛṣṇa, which doesn’t make logical sense. Kṛṣṇa is reliable. And according to the Bodhi abandonment, that’s how reliable they are. Not every devotee is that same level of advancement.
But first we put our faith in priesthood. And then according to the devotees, we learn how to recognize who the devotees are, how advanced they are and what we can put faith in. Like Brahman said, he don’t give a loan to a Brāhmaṇa. Because the Brāhmaṇa is like a beggar. She doesn’t have any source of income. It’s not a very reliable investment. If you want to give him a donation, give him a grant. But Bailo Subraman, somebody’s a business person. They have a cash flow, they have assets. You know, you can consider those kind of knowing people, knowing what they’re, who they are. Someone may be a good devotee. Doesn’t mean they’re a good business person. Maybe a good devotee, but they may not be a good manager. Like good doctors don’t necessarily make good managers of hospitals.
They hire other people to manage hospitals. But a good doctor can heal people. Something like that. Knowing the people and knowing your own limitations, knowing where you need help and where you have some abilities. As far as what I am serving a citizen. Previously, people would see their horoscope. They talk with their spiritual master. They see what their inclinations were and what they liked to do. What was natural for them to do. Because materially, if we can do what’s natural for us. So that we know what we like and things a lot easier. So many people have to do some job which they don’t really like to do, which isn’t their nature. But it’s like that’s just what they got stuck with. So in the Vaishnava, everybody was situated in what they like to do, what was natural for them. That was the idea.
Some people like to do farming. They like to work in the sun and work in the field. If you put them in an office, they gotta sit here and, you know, stamp envelopes and they go stir crazy. Some people, they don’t like to work in the sun. They can’t do heavy work. They like to sit in the office in tight weathers to different people with different natures. So what the person’s nature is, what their ability is. So many factors in Kṛṣṇa consciousness about it seems to be trial and error. You’re trying different services out and come along the particular ones that you like to do. Or sometimes. Sometimes a lot of it is doing what’s needed. It’s an emergency. You don’t always get to that crisis mode that burnt some devotees out because it needed to be done. Prabhu.
And it’s okay for the short run, for emergencies. But in the long run it’s better to find where each devotee what’s there. Natural inclination. Like Arjuna was a chatya to fight for Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa never told me wrong to set up the sham. Some of the businessman Kṛṣṇa never told Nanda Maharaj. Sell their cows and open up, become a Brahmin or something. Mainly when they’re cows, different kinds of people of different nature. So that’s how to get something. Discuss it with some senior Deloreans. Discuss with the spiritual master and try some things and see. Since I was a child, I always like to do. I always like to do a different thing. I like to start things. Finishing was a bit tough, but starting was fun. I like to do lots of different kinds of things.
The parents criticize you doing the Jack of all trades and the master of None. But then like in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, there’s so many. Somehow I got a job where it’s good to know a little bit about everything. I don’t need to be an expert in everything. Just to know enough to be able to kind of help people if they need expertise. Now it’s not so much. I am not into that more anymore. But initially probably like starting all those different temples. There’s like so many things to start. And then he’d move me on, hand over the management to somebody else and move me to the next temple. Then finally when I got to my effort so he was just like, you know, we’re still starting after 30 years, right?
So I think giving my effort to NDH alternate so that they can have something to do. A lot of those leaders aren’t wrong anymore. But interesting point. That was like the main. I guess in the Vedic. No, I guess but in the Vedic kind, you know, people tend to be born in a particular family and usually have the qualities of their forefathers. Can you follow that? But then sometimes people didn’t have the same quality. They could do something else that was more rare. Here they have all these tests like Mana Prabhu was giving this test out. What’s your. Like what’s it aptitude test? Help find out your triage. I took one of those when I was graduating from high school. It said I could be.
I remember when it said the few things that seemed that I was inclined I fit within One of them was the airplane pilot. I never would be an airplane pilot. But you do fly around with it. I don’t know how, you know, I don’t know how. I don’t know what basis they come up with those results. You know, just based on statistics or what it is. I don’t know how. But that’s definitely, you know, in itself that’s an interesting service. Like in big corporations they have what they call human resource managers. And their main job is how to fit people into the corporation. How they can get to train them properly and all those things. So we actually need a human resource development, a devotee resource. I call it Māyāpur.
What we need in Māyāpur we need a manuscan to how to place the young people are a place different people. Whether in the society directly or in areas which are in the general external community. If somebody has a business aptitude and businessmen who are looking for marketing people looking for people to work with them to train them up. It’s actually it would be a tremendous service in itself helping people to find their niche. It’s up to now it’s been mainly trial and error. Try out something, keep trying until you find something you like. But that could be shortcut. There’s few people who do the few trial and errors. After a few errors sometimes they just lose hope and forget it. But right. So it’s very interesting. I think you can do something wonderful for pr. Thank you all.
