20030318 Śrī Gaura-pūrṇima Lecture to Russian Devotees

Only those who suffer surrender to him. But your incarnation is so special. Because you give love of Kṛṣṇa freely. We want your blessings. We don’t want any material blessings for sense gratification. We got enough of that. Too much, too much. In heavenly planets there’s so much sense gratification. Him, there’s practically no problems.

One of the problems is that we get Attacked by demons, You have to fight in amprihoids as Nimistrajatsa Star Wars. The other problems. Is that we forget to worship him. Start. The sense gratification distracts us from the real happiness of the profound gratitude of Kṛṣṇa Bhakti. In this way we get cheated by the material energy and we miss out on giving love for Kṛṣṇa. Therefore we want your mercy because we understand you give out freely love for Kṛṣṇa. You know you’re going to give it to everyone. You don’t want to be the only ones who are deprived. So like this, so many things were happening. Even though they are invisible to human beings. So then mother said she saw something start chanting. So she’s chanting the devas. Wow. She sees this. How is it she can see us? Humans can’t see us.

So all kinds of amazing things are happening. You know, with mother Satshi and Jahmir Mishra. As I mentioned, all the finances, everything was going really good. One day in the advanced Advaita when mother Satshi was pregnant Adwaitarya visited their house. This was something very surprising because Advaita Crya was the single most Brāhmaṇa in the Navadin. So when he came, they gave him a seat. Welcome. How we are so much blessed to have greatest Brāhmaṇa Vaishnava visiting our house. A bowl under the feet of a greater and mother Sakshi poured the water and he washed the feet. Which is the custom for receiving some very insulted person to your house. Very common custom at that time. Still india it’s like that. Especially in south India they still do that. My dear Advaita, what has caused you to bless our house? So then.

What does that bring her to this house? Then at right time he started to walk around. Mother Sachi, I am very confused. For now you just have your wife take some sandalwood oil and some nice oil and sandalwood pieces paste and rub it on her womb on her stomach where the baby is. Then he left. We’re trying to figure out what does this all mean. Must be that our child is going to be a very great soul, A very powerful person. So like this so many things are happening. When the normal pregnancy period came and the child wasn’t being born, the mother Sati went to see her father and find out what was happening. Abhishna. Privilege. Said that no, your child  will be born later. So she wasn’t worried anymore then because she knew that it would be late. At that time.

This day of the full moon at the bilge, Many other things happened. But I don’t have so much time to tell everything. The day of the full moon came. And that day was also a lunar eclipse. And the custom is that during a lunar eclipse or solar eclipse india everyone takes the holy bath. They go to the holy river and they stay up to their waist or their neck and chest in the water. Because they consider that eclipse is inauspicious about the holy river then it won’t affect them. In those days people wouldn’t chant Hare Kṛṣṇa because. Because they’re afraid they would contaminate the holy name. But when they’re in the water of the Ganges, they would chant because then they knew that the Ganges was purifying them. It was okay with. So in the water everybody started.

So since the Ganges was going through the mini of the Navarat everyone can hear the thousands and thousands of people shouting the holy name. This is the best day I have ever seen. Who said that eclipses are inauspicious? It’s so auspicious. Everybody’s chanting Sankirtan. Who said that Shivas. And like that it was very auspicious. Everybody was feeling very happy also. When this happened. Then my mother Sachi, she saw her beautiful baby and she was really happy to see such a beautiful golden baby. And mother Sachi called Jagannath Mishra. And he came and then she handed over Lord Chaitanya. Look at, look at what a beautiful baby. And when Jagannath Miśra was holding his son, he was feeling so much ecstasy. He was so happy. So like this, everybody in the whole city practically was chanting spontaneously while bathing in the holy rivers. Then.

At that time, the different Devis and Devas or heavenly pirates they took their form as Brahmanas and Brahmanis. And they visited the house of Mother Sachi as if they were neighbors to give blessings. Everybody became really blissful. Android just started dancing Ecstasy. Hari Gastaka was dancing in ecstasy. Śrīvas was dancing. They don’t know why. They just felt so happy. They started dancing. So. At that time, Jaguar Mishra. He wanted to give so much charity. It was very poor Brahmanas or what could he do? In his mind he was giving big quantities of charity. He looked just like beautiful as Kṛṣṇa, but only golden color. He also had a divine assignment. The next day a seat attacked a running king. She was carried in a polyquin with cloth around it. Very high class ladies. They wouldn’t appear in comrade.

So she came with all kinds of gifts. And this way. Auspicious herbs. She was apparently blessing this child. But actually she was taking Darshan giving him. Mulist. So that’s how Lord Chaitanya appeared in the world. And everyone in the whole world became very happ. So we want to bring Lord Chaitani into this world also by chanting the holy name. This is very wonderful situation surrounding the world. Just one other pastime was there that we told in the prickama. I don’t know. I know everybody been through it. After Janamuni brought out the Ganges from his body. And then Bharat was digging the riverbed away from Janamuni’s ashram. You. At that time. You look back and the Ganges watch the movie. Life isn’t easy, right? So first the Ganges disappeared and found that Janamuni had drunk the Ganges. Now the Ganges just stopped. Wasn’t moving. Again.

He was praying to the Ganges. What’s happening? Why are you not moving? Was stopped right by my airport. As if there was a glass wall. Here’s the Ganges and from here on there’s nothing. What a mystery. How is it possible? What does it mean? So the Bhagi Maharaji was asking please tell me what is happening here? What can I do? So then Meganji communicated with the king and explained that. And I am waiting for Gorpunima because that time at this place is going to be Kṛṣṇa. That’s why today the Lord is all bathing for the Ganges to get that Kṛṣṇa Prema. Of course, be careful. As I mentioned this morning. So that’s my contribution to this multi person lecture.
