The following is a lecture given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on March 20, 1992 – in Atlanta, USA. The lecture begins with a reading from Bhagavad-gītā 5.18-19.

Exodus, chapter 5, verse 18. The humble sages, by virtue of true knowledge, see with equal vision a learned and gentle Brahman. A cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog eater. Okay? A Kṛṣṇa conscious person does not make any distinction between species or castes. The Ravana and the outcast may be different from the social point of view. A dog, a cow, an elephant may be different from the point of view of species. But these different differences of body are meaningless from the viewpoint of a learned transcendentalism. This is due to their relationship to the Supremes. For the Supreme Lord, by His plenary portions, as paramātmā is present in everyone’s heart, such an understanding of the supreme is real knowledge as far as the bodies are concerned.

In different castes or different species of life, the Lord is equally kind to everyone because he treats every living being as a friend, yet maintains Himself as paramātmā regardless of the circumstances of the living entities. The Lord as paramātmā or super soul is present both in the outcast and in the Brāhmaṇa. Although the body of a Brāhmaṇa and that of an outcast are not the same. The bodies are material productions of different modes of material nature. But the soul and the super soul within the body are of the same spiritual quality. The similarity in the quality of the soul and the super soul, however, does not make them equal in quantity. For the individual soul is present only in that particular body, whereas the paramātmā is present in each and everybody.

The KAnt’s person as knowledge of this, and therefore he is truly learning and has equal vision. The similar characteristics of the soul and the supra soul are that they are both conscious, eternal and blissful. But the difference is that the individual soul is conscious within the limited jurisdiction of the body. Whereas the super soul is conscious of all bodies, the super soul is present in all bodies without distinction. Those minds are established in sameness and equanimity, have already conquered the conditions of birth and death. They are flawless like Brahman, and thus they are already situated in Brahman. Equanimity of mind, as mentioned above, is the sign of self realization. Those who have actually attained such a stage should be considered to have conquered material conditions, specifically birth and death. As long as one identifies with this body, he is considered a conditioned soul.

But as soon as he is elevated to the stage of equanimity, to the realization of self, he is liberated from conditional life. In other words, he is no longer subject to take birth in the material world, but can enter into the spiritual sky after his death. The Lord is flawless because he is without attraction or hatred. Similarly, when a living entity is without attraction or hatred, he also becomes flawless and eligible to enter into that spiritual sky. Such persons are to be considered already liberated and their symptoms are described below. In the translation and prayer for the two verses of chapter 5, verses 18 and 19. By his divine grace in the matter of Karma, Yoga, action and Kṛṣṇa Consciousness. Happy to be back again with the devotees. Śrī Śrī born in Thayee Jaganna devotees here at Npanihati Atlanta Temple.

A few days ago arrived from India and Asia. So fortunately we are able to spend this time with you. For the Sunday program today we read some very important verses from the Bhagavad Gītā. As it is. Some verses which are very important in today’s world. In ancient India, there were problems with. Still today there are problems not fully solved with that. Caste hatred or prejudices. Similarly, we read in newspapers every day how these kinds of prejudice hatred on the basis of birth and bodily distinction, species, races are creating wars and violence all over the world. Sometimes people get frustrated and they say that it’s the fault of religion. Religion is dividing the people. But actually we can.

If we go a little beneath the surface, we can understand it’s actually due to the false identification of the self and the body where someone thinks that they are actually this body and therefore they identify similar bodies with their selves. Also, for instance, in Somalia, there were. There are different tribes in Africa, in the country of Somalia, and they are fighting with each other. So one of the tribes conquered over the government and took charge. But then what happened is once that tribe was in charge so long they were fighting with the other tribe, they were united. Once they were in power, they became soft clans amongst the tribe. And these clans started to fight amongst each other and are still fighting. So like this Kali, the age of Kali is going on and dividing the people.

For so long, people were united in Yugoslavia. Then there was the Serbs versus the Croatians. Now it’s the Serbs versus the Bosnia. I can’t pronounce the next word. And it’s become Christian versus Muslim versus so many different ethnic groups. So then the Muslims in Malaysia and in the Middle east, when they hear their brethren, the Muslims in Bosnia are being attacked by the servants. So. So they are sending a lot of aid to help them. So like this, on the basis of racial, basis of creed, basis of various bodily designations, then people are drawn together. This is natural, but it is very modal of consciousness compared to what a human being should be. Because just like you have the dogs versus the cats, you have different species versus different other species in the animal kingdom.

If human society is supposed to create a new world order of peace, prosperity, universal brotherhood in the world, obviously they’re going to have to rise above these kind of prejudices and hatreds to a higher vision. The Sanātana Dharam Bhagavad Gītā is teaching in these verses that a truly spiritually awakened person will not consider these physical differences very significant but will rather see everyone from a spiritual point of view. All living entities are spiritual, Spirit, soul. Each spirit soul is a part of the Supreme Spirit. Therefore everyone is the brother, everyone is related. If we accept the Supreme Father then we can easily accept that we’re all related like brothers or sisters. We’re all related under him.

So part of the Vedic principle is to accept that this one supreme goddamn who has got unlimited names, unlimited forms, unlimited pastimes, everything is coming from that original supreme Being. Param Brahma. Kṛṣṇa explains in Bhagavad Gītā Harmasaras everything is coming from Kṛṣṇa is the primordial form of that supreme Being. He has also appeared in other forms his expansions like Rāma Nārāyaṇa, Matsya Kurma, Varāha Narasinga. He has many partial expansions. Prithu Vyas Shaktavish. Some consider Jesus to be Shaktavish, avatar and fisherman, as the Son of God. Babishyat Quran mentions Isha Putra will come and preach to the Macha community. So like this, within the Awedas we can get a broad picture that in the heart of every living entity is the super soul. He is equal to everyone. He wants everyone’s wealthy. He knows what’s going on in the entire universe.

And everyone’s body is aware of what’s going on. But we are only aware of what’s going on in our own bodies. If a mosquito bites me, I don’t feel it. But you may not feel it. You won’t be able to feel the pain or the pleasure of my body. But we can identify with someone else’s pain or someone else’s pleasure the best mentally possible. But we’re not actually able to experience directly the pain or pleasure except in our own bodies. Our chetra or field of knowledge is this body. We are known as the Chandra of Gya or of the field of activities in this body. So our field of knowledge is quite limited. We can only perceive through these senses. We can only experience through this one. Therefore the idea that we are God is really untenable. We are very limited for that role.

But we are of a similar quality as God. Therefore we can directly relate with the supreme Lord Bhagawan Śrī Kṛṣṇa. So a human being. We are meant to actually come about this type of limited knowledge. I think you might have heard the example of the carpenter who went to the forest to gather wood. Maybe you didn’t hear it. You know, india there’s a famous forest called the Sundar Bone. The Sundar Bone is in the southern part of Bengal and that’s where the Royal Bengal Tiger finds its natural habitat. So it’s quite a big forest. And some years ago one carpenter decided a young man that he wanted to go into the forest to gather wood because it’s free wood. Wood is expensive. You get it free, just go into the forest and cut it.

Of course now there’s so many laws prohibiting that some people do it on the side. This must have been before the laws were imposed. So as this young carpenter was going with his cutting tools into the forest, one old carpenter saw him and called him over. My dear young carpenter, you’re going into a very dangerous place. The Sundar Bond jungle is still with violent animals. Tigers, bears, pythons, cobras and so on. You should bring some arm with you, some weapons to protect yourself in case you’re attacked by a tiger or something. Oh yes sir, thank you very much for your good advice. But he didn’t heed it. He went into the forest without any weapons because he thought, what does this old guy know? I am going with my saw.

I so many trees in the forest anywhere I can cut off one branch in the tree. I will just. If a tiger comes, I will cut off a branch, I will swing it around my head and the tiger will see that branch swinging and just start shaking and running away. Nothing to worry about. Good idea. Robbie forgot to calculate a few things. Like when tigers attack, they don’t usually give you enough time to cut branches off the trees. They’re quite fast and slow. That’s exactly what happened. He was in the. He had gathered quite a good quantity of wood. I don’t know how he was going to carry it all. I guess by boat. He was about ready to head back to home when he saw a small tiger. Just a three year old baby, only about nine or ten feet long.

One of the big tall heading towards him. Semele took off his saw and started hurriedly trying to chop off the limp from the branch. The tiger listened before he finished cutting the branch and had a good meal. So the word got back to the Village everyone was very sad. The young carpenter had given up his life. Actually, this year in April, went to the Sundarban. Hymns for preaching in one place in Bangladesh called Harinagar. The Sundarban also extends over to Bangladesh. And darling, there in that village, we have a very BIG program of 30,000 people gathered at night. But one person, he thought that since all the people are at the program, I will have a good chance to go and get honey from the forest.

So he skipped the program and went by his little boat into the forest looking for honey, thinking he will outsmart everyone else. They’re so foolish, going to the Hare Kṛṣṇa program. But that person got eaten by a tiger. This four kilometers where our program was held like two and a half miles. So even today this is still happening. Anyway, they told us so many tiger stories when were there. So in that village few days, sometime later, one saintly devotee visited. And he taught the villagers to chant the holy names, the Mahā Mantra. They shall all meditate chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa. So they all were chanting late into the night. So that Sadhu, that saintly devotee. Next morning, early in the morning, he left and went into the forest without telling anyone. Just he went.

So naturally, the villagers became frightened that such a diced devotees gone into the forest. That maybe the lions or the tigers rather will eat him. So they followed after him, trying to chase him out, carrying their guns to protect him from any dangers. They were surprised when they caught up to him that there in the midst of the forest, he was surrounded by animals. Tigers and bears and deer. So many gentle and violent animals were there. But he got them all chanting. He’s telling them chant Hare Kishang. And the animals actually were chanting. They were standing on their hind legs. Some were rolling in ecstasy on the ground. They were completely forgotten. All fear, all violence. And they were absorbed in ecstasy of chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa.

So the villagers with their weapons, they were surprised to see how these violent animals had become completely gentle and tamed by the effect of this. Tamed with the volume. So actually, these wild animals can be compared to the lower bullings, urges, vices which degrade the human being into bad karmic activities. Entangling activities the nature like lust, anger, greed, hatred, madness, intoxication, enviousness. Kam Ro Lo Bhat, Mohat, Sarjo Moha models and purpose of different spiritual processes is to bring us. To be able to control over these vices. So some processes a very long term. Like the Hatha Yoga process. One has to do meditation Eightfold Raja Yoga, Kriya Yoga. These take a long time. Great physical control has to be exerted. And finally at the end of the process one would be able to gain some control over the mind and senses.

But even then it’s not always possible to control. They could become uncontrollable. There are many examples of yogis like Vishavitra who are not able to control. When they were put under extreme tests from Māyā, Those villagers who were going with their guns, they were like the Siddha, ordinary pious people who go to temple and pray to Lord for giving them material peace. And they try to do good works, pious activities. So they are living somewhat in fear. They are not fully taking shelter of the Lord. So they had to defend themselves with their highest activities and with their. So it’s like carrying their weapons, they are not fully secure. But that saintly Sadhu, the devotee who went into the forest, who got all the animals to chant and dance in ecstasy. It’s like the devotee who fully surrendered to the Lord.

He is actually able to control all devices because he engages them in Kṛṣṇa service. Normally someone is lusty, they want something very bad. If they don’t have it, they’re frustrated, they lose it, they get angry. So this lust creates this strong desire, creates a lot of anxiety. But since today the Bodhi can also feel a different a purified lust. But they will offer that lust to Kṛṣṇa. They want something very bad for Kṛṣṇa. Let’s have a nice temple for Kṛṣṇa. Let’s have a nice festival for Kṛṣṇa. So they take their desire offered to Kṛṣṇa, offering that same desire to Kṛṣṇa. Someone may want to have a nice parties and have any big guests at night, have a lot of social status. So standing I want to have a nice festival for Kṛṣṇa. Have a very big festival india. Have thousands of people come.

That will be a very nice social gathering and in the glory of Kṛṣṇa. So just by a little change, the same effort becomes something very pure and very beneficial for many people. For the other thing was simply for one’s own personal name and pain. And ultimately this creates anxieties and frustration. So the anxiety one feels in serving Kṛṣṇa personally rewards. So like as each of these vices you can analyze, they can all be offered to Kṛṣṇa and they become purified just like anger. Hanuman was very angry when he saw Sītā was being unlawfully held by Ravana. So he took when he was tail was lit on fire. Then Hanuman lit the entire Śrī Lanka on fire. So but his anger and all says is that the because he was only angry for Lord Ram for a good cause. Therefore that anger was considered sacred.

And Hanuman is worshipped in sacred pictures performing this pastime of burning a city down. Because he was angry at the persecution of an innocent. Sītā Maharayan therefore was considered a rather act of devotion. Nothing wrong with them. Similarly, Someone may be greedy to get more and more nice things for Kṛṣṇa. So that’s also meant that. One may be. You see sometimes the devotees, they’re singing and dancing. It looks like they became intoxicated. They’re so happy, so blissful, they’re just dancing and they’re not thinking what anyone else is thinking about. But it’s a very pure spiritual joy that they’re feeling. So that’s a kind of intoxication, but that intoxication is not there. So all the things in devotional service become purified because they’re natural, they’re spiritual, they are to do with the soul, everyone’s welfare.

So when the Babi is even wanting that the enemy should be given the blessing of Vishnu. So how could Andy stay in his heart? Actually on my way here to Atlanta from India, I was chief guest at the presided over the inauguration of our Nuhari Kṛṣṇa center in Bakring in the Arabian Gulf. That was where the desert storm, you know, the main forces were based in. Many of the forces were based in Tehran. Tehran in Saudi Arabia is 32 miles from Bahrain. Bahrain is the island in the Gulf there. So normally it’s very restrictive when have any Hindu dharma or any Kṛṣṇa conscious practices in these countries. But we are very highly respected devotees there.

And the ruler of that country is a very broad minded liberal person who believes that in his kingdom anyone should be able to practice the religion of their choice. Even though of course Islam is the state religion. So he gave permission to his government that there can be a Hare Kṛṣṇa group there having regular meetings.

(Side B of the Cassette)

So he gave permission to his government that there can be a Hare Kṛṣṇa group there having regular meetings for so on that after giving the official authorization that I came to inaugurate them and I was a presiding and chief ghost ambassador of India. He spoke on that occasion also that how it was very important because of course many of the Indians that are coming to our program and Indians no need to look, you know, send tidings, different types of. She spoke how because it’s Indian culture, Indian way of life that it was important for the spiritual development of the people to also have that type of facility where they could gather together, they could sing Bhajans, they could read Bhagavad Gītā, they could see for their own spiritual development, get a retreat from that rigorous measurement of the daily work routine like that.

Different people were sleeping nicely but they basically lit the fire, the candle, the beepams to start the function that we did, the Abhishek of morning time. So people there actually found that the Arab Muslims they are much broad minded. Actually sometime one Pakistani Muslim he protested that Hare Kṛṣṇa are killing Muslims india. It was a complete lie. But he complained like that we shouldn’t let them have a center here. But the Arab who’s in charge of that, the minister in charge of that department he said these people, they don’t eat meat, fish or eggs. They don’t kill even flies or they don’t kill any kind of creatures. How are they going to kill a Muslim? I don’t believe it. It’s not true. You’re just saying this, why you are being envious.

So somehow this enmity between India and Pakistan and india between Hindu and Muslim that was wrong. Actually Prabhupāda he was mentioning when he was a child there was not such an enmity. His 97 anniversary is coming up next year which is complete his 96th. He said when he was a young man it was quite friendly dealings between the Hindu and Muslim india. But the partition of India and in the beginning, in about 1920s or so, this British created a divided rule technique of dividing the Hindus and the Muslims. They created this enmity. But actually there’s no reason why people of the world, Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Jew, whatever they may be, whatever path they may choose to follow to go back to Gandhi, there’s no reason why they cannot all be, you see, able to live in a really friendly way.

The problem is when they identify with this body and then they are taught to hate other bodies of different kinds. So the solution is actually to Give this knowledge of Bhagavad Gītā. This is not its activity knowledge. I say Bhagavad Gītā is no one to say Hindu religion from Bhagavad Gītā is a universal text, may be revered by all Hindus, but it is a universal text which is paid. Kṛṣṇa spoke it 5,000 years ago. That time, there was no Muslim, there were no Christians, there was no Buddhists. There was just one kind of human being in the world. He was speaking for all human beings. And this is a universal knowledge. He is saying here. Dogs, dog eaters, cows, elephants, Brahmanas, non Brahmanas, outcasts, the pure Pandit. He sees them all with the same vision, seeing that spiritual spark in every one of them.

So here you can easily put it there. Brahmin, Hindu, whatever, you can put Christian, Muslim, any name you want in there. They’re all the same. Every living being and every human being the same super soul. Is there Christianity called the Holy Ghost. In the Vedas, we say Paramātmā, the super soul present in everyone’s heart. But people, they take a narrow view and they think anyone who doesn’t use the same nomenclature, the same dress that I use, they must be different. They don’t use the same titles of enormous hatred. So Bhagavad Gītā is actually promoting world peace. Through following this principle, we can create a new world order that people talk about. There was very important to distribute this Bhagavad Gītā very widely. Bhagavad Gītā was spoken in the month of December. So anyway, that’s the season, holiday seasons in the West.

So now india, also on December, for Gītā Jayanthi Month, all the devotees made a special effort to see that everyone can get the Bhagavad Gītā. And different temples india have taken vows to distribute 100,000 Bhagavad Gītās in the month of December. So it’d be very nice also here for the cause of world peace, for the cause of universal prosperity, for the cause of Kṛṣṇa. Seva in the month of December, with all the congregational members, everyone, they also participate, take some Bhagavad Gītās. And for Christmas and New Year’s or season greeting or whatever they like. They could give, donate, sell, however they like to do it. Somehow or another, distribute Bhagavad Gītās for bringing in new world order or world peace. Bhagavad Gītā gives us a real peace formula based on spiritual knowledge. Einstein read the Bhagavad Gītā.

He said that it gave him great inspiration. Thoreau, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams. Also I believe many great historical people of America generated Bhagavad Gītā and given it all faith. Everyone in America should read the motto. Should be a standard text from junior high school up. Unfortunately it’s not yet in the future, hopefully it will be. This Bhagavad Gītā is giving us a solution to the main problem in the world today, which is hatred due to bodily false identification. And anyway, in our own individual lives we should apply this principle. We should start with seeing ourselves. Who am I? Am I this body? Am I this hand or this flesh? Am I this arm or the leg or the skins or the bones? What am I? The Bhagavad Gītā is explaining that actually we have a living force in the body.

When that living force leaves the body is called dead. There the body is just lying without any life force. You see, once in a village india there was a very respected village elder. He was a grandparents to grandparents for maybe 30, 40 children. He had so many children, had about 30 or 40 grandchildren. He had so many sons and daughters, so many relatives. He was well respected by everyone. One day he died. So they laid his body out and as so many people were crying, my father is dead, my grandfather is dead, my husband is dead. The different relations, they’re crying. His wife, his grandchildren, his children, his brothers, they’re all crying. He’s gone, he’s gone. But actually who’s gone? Same body is there. Same skin, same hair, same flesh, blood. So why everyone is crying that he’s gone? Who is the actual person?

Is it the body or is it the living force in the body? Is it as spirit saw in the body? This we should consider very carefully. This is a difference between Vedic culture. In fact most of the Eastern spiritual texts understand this difference between body and the living force that makes the body alive. If you have ever seen a dead relative, you know then you know that it’s not the same. But the body may be there. Well, there’s a big difference why we are crying? Who is God? There’s a story in the Pranas and once there was a very great king who was a valiant warrior and he went leading his army into battle and he fought very courageously. But in the battle he was killed.

When his queens heard about this, they went right to the battlefield and they saw the dead body of their husband, the king and they undid their hair and they were crying and they were holding in the body and According to the Vedic custom, the bodies should be burned before the sun set. But they weren’t letting go, they were withholding. So Yamaraj was observing this whole thing. So he took the form of a young boy. It’s like a six or eight year old boy took the form of a young boy. And he just kind of casually walked by there and he said, oh, look at this. I mean, I am just a child and I am wandering. I have no mother, no father, no one’s protecting me, but I am not worrying about anything. But look at these older people.

I mean, they’re like my parents, like my mother and father. Why are they all holding this dead body and crying? What’s wrong with them? They don’t know the difference between living and dead. So because there was a small child speaking, when you hear a small child start to speak so many philosophical things, it becomes very attractive. So they started to listen. What is this child saying? And then that child started to speak about ātmā Tattva, about the reality of the self. Here these queens are all holding this king’s body and they’re lamenting that he’s gone. But if he’s gone while they are still holding the body, do they mean the same thing? I think that person is the body they’re holding. Then if that’s true, then why they’re crying that he’s gone? And if he’s gone, then why hold the body? He’s already gone.

So what’s the use of the body now? Every wise person knows that the body is only the external shell for that real living person who is the spiritual force in the body. In Bhagavad Gītā and in Upanishads, it explains that within the origin of the heart, the living spirit soul is residing. And it is 1/10,000th the tip of a hair in dimension. So you take it here, divide the tip of it a hundred times, take that part another hundred times. That microscopic portion is the size of a spirit soul, of a Jīva ātmā. For that Jeeva ātmā has got more power than millions of suns, because even the sun has a beginning and an end. But that spiritual has got no beginning and no end. It’s a divine portion of God.

It’s a small part of the Lord who has been given individual existence by the Lord to engage in his service, Therefore has got similar potencies in a very small quantity like the Lord, as I mentioned here, eternity, knowledge and bliss. So this child is explaining all these things to them, why they crying like this you should. Now your husband has left here. He’s gone on now to his next birth. Now you take the body, you let it go. Now you have to go on with life. That ATBA is left here now. Now this Bhaviya is of no use. So why are you lamenting? For that which is not worthy of being lamented about. So after a while the vacuums, they got spiritual knowledge and they stopped crying. They realized that the soul isn’t dying. The soul is living on.

But now this body is not the actual person. So why are you holding on to the body? So being living beings, we should also know that we may be having so many relations. Wife, husband, children, uncles, father, grandfather, so on the actual person who we are knowing, or maybe not knowing, but the actual person match the body. But there’s soul within the body. That’s why when we greet people, we say Namaste. Namaste means I offer my obeisances to the super soul in your heart, to the ātmā within you. Everyone is an ātmā. His bodies are like the vehicles. So somebody totals his car, release the car. He goes out and collects his insurance and gets a new car. So as long as he’s not, you know, finished, okay. Anyway, it’s too bad he totaled his car. But anyway, life goes on. Similarly.

Actually, even if we total this body, totaling this body means death. But the ātmā never gets destroyed. Ātmā cannot be destroyed. So the soul goes on to a new birth. So while we’re in this body as a human being, we can actually prepare ourselves for the next birth. We can prepare ourselves what will be our birth after this. So that we will be able to get a much better situation than we’re in today. There’s no use of only thinking about this life. Because you’re not going to stay here forever. You have to trade in your car sooner or later. You have to trade in the body sooner or later. But this body will have no equity. The only equity that you get is witness body.

What devotional service you do, how many times you chant Kṛṣṇa in Ram, how many times you do worship to the Lord, how much devotional service you do for uplifting others. All these type of activities leading Bhagavad Gītā. These are the spiritual equity that you’re going to take with you from this body to your next body. And everything else you do with the body, all the running around you do, all the gold medals you win Olympics. Everything else that’s for this body. When you leave this body, that’s it for Those things. But what you have done spiritually at the same time, that’s what you’re going to take with you. So side by side, while we also have our material side, people are competing and progressing materially side by side. We should be spiritually preparing ourselves.

So we are not here what is in the future for us. We know that whenever the call comes, we know where we are going from here we can decide where we want to go. You can go become a human being. You can go down and become animal. You can go off and become a resident of heaven. Or you can go back to Kṛṣṇa and become eternal liberated soul and don’t have to take breath anymore. So Kṛṣṇa of course he recommends that it’s better to come back to him in the spiritual world and never come back to the material world again. Because this material world is a place of impeded birth and death and suffering. Even if you go to heavenly planets again, you may have to come. You will have to come down to the human planets in two points of time.

And you may also have to go down to hellish existence. So best thing is to go back to Godhead and never come back again to the material world. And for our Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the Lord is we don’t want to go alone. We want to take as many people as we can with us back to home, back to Gahi. That’s why our magazine is called Back to Garage. Live a full life and at the end of this life go back to Ghat. So in order to go back to God, we have to already communicate with the Lord. Just like here in America, everybody has their phone. So you have your local form. You dial your, you know, local number.

But then if you want to dial out of this particular area code, you want to dial internationally to dial the code 01, whatever the country codes. City code 91 to India, 11 for Delhi, 22 for bound, 83 for Calcutta, 44 for Madrasi, 812 for Bengaluru. So you die here. National code, City code. So Kṛṣṇa also has a number. He’s given the number. You can directly communicate with Kṛṣṇa. You just have to diagnose, you know all the number is. International. The inter transcending of Bing told how to rooted the Kṛṣṇa. So gets direct very quickly. When mentioning Lord Caitanya’s name, first it goes directly to Kṛṣṇa. In this way we can by chanting. Actually chanting these holy names is the easiest method of respiritualizing our vision. Lord Chaitanya recommended we do three things.

Chant Hare Kṛṣṇam, chant the name Sadhgaya Kṛṣṇa read the Bhagavad Gītā and the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, the teachings of Kṛṣṇa and come and worship Kṛṣṇa. These three things, very simple can be done in a temple, can be done in a home. What we’re doing here on Sunday, we hope everyone will do in their homes. That they will do in their cities. Wherever there’s Namhat gatherings. That everyone will gather together, chant the family members with the friends. And part of worshiping Kṛṣṇa is offering him some fruits, vegetables, grains, milk products. He worship Kṛṣṇa with these natural ingredients. He doesn’t accept offerings of meat or fish or eggs. He offers these natural things to Kṛṣṇa. And at the end you take some prushadam. So because it’s offered with love, it’s given with love. It’s also lito Webla Search Follow Today also this love feast your luck. So.

Lord Chaitanya, he said that this movement will be spread all over the world, to every town. And recently sometimes the pundits, they say, well, you people say that you’re just. Lord Chaitanya said that. But it doesn’t mean we have to believe it. Unless we see it in the Vedas, we don’t want to believe it. One pundit from Kerala, he was always challenging like this. So we showed some boats. But he was not so convinced. But he himself came up just recently we did a program in Andhra Pradesh. The Prime Minister’s son Rangara, He inaugurated our program. And went down to Cherandrum. And this Sunday he came and he said that I was always doubting what the people said. But now I have to tell you that I believe everywhere this thing. Because I personally found that rather references in the Vedas.

And he showed one of the references he said that he showed after Brahmadai Gharda purāṇa in the 124th Khanda. And there he said look, it’s here. It says exactly what you all predicted. You have the time pick about 3, 4 minutes the time like to hear what you then the Brahma Vaivar Pura mentions that is one of the histories. Pranas mean the histories. Then when Kṛṣṇa was in Vara, then all the holy rivers deities like Jamuna, Saraswati, Gaṅgā, Namoda, Cavalry, Sindhu, so on. They all went to see Lord Kṛṣṇa in Dwarakam. And they were crying and they were praying to Kṛṣṇa. That we see already the Kali Yuga is getting ready to come. People are starting to show symptoms of irreligiosity, of selfishness, of cruelty. So we know that soon you are going to be living a world.

We want you to take us with you. Because how can we survive without your association? You have been so kind to bathe in our waters. And if you leave, not only will we lose you, but then all the sinners are going to come and bathe in us and leave all their sins and will become overwhelmed with the sins of the sinners. So like this they were pleading to Kṛṣṇa to take them with him. So Kṛṣṇa smiled and he told them to be patient for 5,000 years. You wait for 5,000 years you have been Kali Yuga in the age of Iron Age of Kali of hypocrisy. You’re going to be bathed in by sin people and you just tolerate it there. Leave some sins, but you tolerate.

Because after 5,000 years, my great mantra Upasaka, my great worshipper of the holy name, he is going to come in the world. And this chanting of the holy name is going to be spread all over the world. And the whole world will become one brotherhood, Acalarna, one caste Bhakta, devotees of Lord Hadith. And all world will be devotees. So one supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Sanskrit name. And in this way the whole world become very peaceful place. And these devotees are all going to come. So many of them are going to come to India from all over the world. And they’re going to bathe in your waters chanting the holy names. And this by the touch of the Lord, you chant the holy names. One can be forgiven for so many sins more than what people can commit. So you can have so many.

The Lord is bathing in your waters. And this is going to continue for 10,000 years, this situation in the world. So wait for that. It will be a very glorious time. But after that 10,000 years is up, the devotees are going to leave the world and go back to my spiritual abode. And at that time Kali Yuga is going to start full steam and it will become very hellish. So at that time, if you want to hide like Mother Sarah will be under the earth, you can hide yourself and wait till SATA Yuga and then you come out again when pious people will be back in the home. So this pungan was showing us and we also bought some other copies of Brahma Bhaisukarana. And we saw the same references are there that there will be 10,000 years of spirituality in this age. Sa. It.
