20250301 Address to Navadvīpa-mandala Parikramā Devotees Adhivāsa Day

Jayapatākā Swami: I will speak in English. Śrīla Prabhupāda took us on the first parikramā! Since then we have been going on parikramā. Now our number has increased. So now we are having our adhivāsa before the parikramā. Adhivāsa they sing – ānandera sīmā nai! Nirānande dūre jāi! Unhappiness will go far away. No limit to happiness! So, we want everyone to have a very blissful time! Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura had said that doing the Navadvīpa-maṇḍala parikramā would save the whole universe! So how can we begin to describe the glories of this Navadvīpa-maṇḍala parikramā? Of course, you benefit personally. By doing this Navadvīpa-maṇḍala parikramā, it also blesses the whole world. Now various wars are going on in different parts of the world. By Navadvīpa-maṇḍala parikramā, you are benefiting everyone! Most people are not thinking about their relationship with Kṛṣṇa. But by Lord Nityānanda and Lord Caitanya’s mercy by doing Navadvīpa-maṇḍala parikramā, you are bringing the mercy of Gaurāṅga to everyone!

Rādhārāṇī, She was playing the flute and Kṛṣṇa came to see who is playing the flute so nice?! When He came to Navadvīpa dhāma, He saw a beautiful dhāma of nine islands! So in this dhāma, the nine practices of devotional service are represented by each island. And while you are walking and chanting, you are remembering different pastimes of Lord Caitanya and Lord Kṛṣṇa!

I heard that one group, the International Group, that they are going to show different dramas. I hope that every group will do dramas! Oh! South Indian party is also doing dramas everywhere! Do Hindi and Bengali parties do dramas? Many in Bengali. We want to be absorbed in Kṛṣṇa!

When I woke up this morning, I had a very special realization. This Navadvīpa-maṇḍala parikramā, TOVP, Māyāpur dhāma, Harināma saṅkīrtana, book distribution, all these things Śrīla Prabhupāda did to bring the attention to Lord Caitanya! We want you, when you go after parikramā, you go back to where you are from, then you should preach the glories of Nitāi Gaurāṅga! Haribol! Gaurāṅga!

So, I think in every island, place, we have a campsite. So people if they want to stay in the campsite, or whatever is comfortable. If anyone wants to come back, I think they have arranged buses. Every party has prasāda suited for the party. If you want to take any snacks, hidden, Gaurāṅga Supermarket is just here! Nuts, dry fruits. Those who are going to stay overnight they have mosquito nets there or they have to take it along. I used to go on the parikramā. Now there are so many parties, and I am wheelchair bound. I have to take different treatments. So I will speak to various parties through telephone.

Lord Caitanya said Bhagavān comes in Kali-yuga in the form of wood and water. Wood is in Jagannātha Purī as Dāru Brahman. And water, is the Gaṅgā! So we have here some bathing facilities. But we want everyone to be very careful! The Ganges current has taken people away! Like this, some person dived into a pukur and did not realize he was diving into a stairway in the pukur! We have some doctors here and a hospital here but we don’t want any of you to have to use them! We want you to chant the holy name. We want to chant simultaneously in English, Bengali and Hindi!

Gaurāṅga! Nityānanda! Pañca-tattva!

We hope that everyone will water the path with tears of their love! I was thinking how the International group will go to Āṁa-ghāṭa then to Śiva-tala, and then Narasiṁhapallī. So every party will go through Navadvīpa town. There are some holy places where you will stop. But we hope that you all show your enthusiasm chanting and dancing when you go through the town of Navadvīpa! There are beautiful Gaura Gadādhara Deities in one place, and in some place there are also beautiful Nitāi Gaura Deities!

How Lord Śiva, He was very eager to hear about Lord Caitanya’s pastimes. And how the Vedas came to Navadvīpa. How the Gaṅgā got a new name here in Navadvīpa. How someone was brought back from death by chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa! How the Pāṇḍavas were here with Draupadi. How Lord Rāmacandra, Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa, They came to Navadvīpa. Maybe Hanumān! Vaikuṇṭha came here! Goloka Vṛndāvana came here! There are many places, more than I can say quickly!

I hope you all have realizations as you walk through this Navadvīpa dhāma! Remember that chanting is Golokera prema dhana, harināma saṅkīrtana! I got a letter today, someone told me that they felt so bad that they did not qualify for Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

But there was one devotee who left Śrīla Prabhupāda, but then he came back and he was accepted by Śrīla Prabhupāda! So some devotee asked Śrīla Prabhupāda, why did you take him back? He is fallen! Śrīla Prabhupāda said Nitāi’s kṛpā is UNLIMITED!! So, Lord Caitanya is Kṛṣṇa but He came as a devotee, so His mercy is more! That is why Navadvīpa dhāma is known as audārya-dhāma! Which means the dhāma of kṛpā! Who wants kṛpā? You came to the right place! Gaurāṅga! Nityānanda!
