20250304 - NMP Addressing International Party in Pañca Veṇī

4 Mar 2025|English|Navadvīpa Maṇḍala Parikramā|Śrī Navadvīpa dhāma, India

Jayapatākā Swami: Jaya Śrīla Prabhupāda! Jaya Koladvīpa! You cross over from Madhyadvīpa to Koladvīpa. Koladvīpa is known because the Kola, boar avatāra touched a point with His rear hoof in this part of the world. I don’t know whether right or left hoof! But, He touched Koladvīpa. Kola is the name of the Boar avatāra, Varāha. When you go back you will go through the temple of Keśava Mahārāja, where they have the Boar Deity. Keśava Mahārāja gave sannyāsa to Śrīla Prabhupāda. He used to ride on a horse during Navadvīpa parikramā. So you will stop at Siddha Jagannātha dāsa Bābājī’s samādhi and then you will be stopping at Dhāmeśvara where Lord Caitanya’s Deity was worshiped by Viṣṇupriyā devī. On the way there is a Prauḍhā Māyā tree. That Prauḍhā Māyā is the Śakti, Protectress of Navadvīpa dhāma. We are trying to erect a temple for her and Lord Śiva in Māyāpur. So, in every dhāma, Lord Śiva and Prauḍhā Māyā are there to protect the dhāma. So, Prauḍhā Māyā, is under a big tree you will be seeing on the way. And she is being worshiped as a Śakti. But she is actually Vaiṣṇavī who is serving Kṛṣṇa! Hare Kṛṣṇa!
