Jayapatākā Swami: Jaya Śrīla Prabhupāda! Jaya Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura! Now you have all gone from Jāhnudvīpa to Modadrumadvīpa. Modadrumadvīpa is the birthplace of Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura. There is a branch of Gauḍīya Maṭha. You can take darśana there. Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura’s mother was Nārāyaṇī. Nārāyaṇī was one of the special personalities in Mahāprabhu’s pastimes. Lord Caitanya one day asked Nārāyaṇī as a child to show some signs of prema-bhāva. Immediately Nārāyaṇī started crying and displayed the aṣṭa-sāttvikā-bhāva. Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura wrote the Caitanya-bhāgavata. In that he has given especially the childhood pastimes of Lord Caitanya. And all the pastimes in Navadvīpa have been elaborated written by him. Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī when writing the Caitanya-caritāmṛta said he would only make a symbolic mention of the pastimes that Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura had mentioned in the Caitanya-bhāgavata and whatever he has not written about I will write he said. Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, he has given the purports to the Caitanya-bhāgavata written by Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura, which was in Bengali.
