20250302 Address to International Parikramā Party in Narasiṁhapallī

Hare Kṛṣṇa! So International group is at Narasiṁhapallī. I am sure that many people have been able to tell you various pastimes of Lord Narasiṁhadeva. After Lord Narasiṁhadeva liberated Hiraṇyakaśipu, He was flying and He came over the Navadvīpa dhāma and He recognized that this is one of His holy dhāmas, and He came down. And devas had built cottages and next to Narasiṁhapalli is Devapallī.

And when Hiraṇyakaśipu was liberated all the devas were afraid to go to Narasiṁhadeva because He was so angry. finally Prahlāda Mahārāja approached Him. But here in Narasiṁhapallī, Devapallī, Narasiṁhadeva was very peaceful and all the devas and their wives had cooked and offered bhoga to Narasiṁhadeva. So Navadvīpa dhāma is so special that here even Narasiṁhadeva becomes merciful. So here in the beginning of Kali-yuga, this Narasiṁhapallī was filled with tigers, but they were able to establish a Deity of Ugra Narasiṁha. And they came and worshipped during the day time and left at night.

So like this, this lake by the side of Narasiṁhapallī is also a special lake, and there Lord Narasiṁhadeva washed His hands and took His bath. So sometimes the devotees bathe there also.
