The following is a Darśana Lecture given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on April 9, 1982 – in New Vrindaban, USA.
The description, the vedas about subterranean heavens, someone was saying that was putting forward the idea that the flying saucers were actually coming from the subterranean heavens. But of course, scientists, they should study the vedas and see the descriptions, and then they may give their research a little more of a direction. Now they’re just groping in the dark in the vedas. It describes that some of the residents of the subterranean heavenly are having machines which they can fly in. And those machines don’t require any. They run on the fuel of the sun’s light or the moonlight. They just able to take energy. So these descriptions are there in the radars. And the people who have seen. Some people have seen these so called UFO’s, flying saucers.
They also say that if they go near any high power tension line, they just suck all the electricity, which seems remarkably to match up with the same description given in the betas. This. When I was in Detroit, they rolled in a new tv for their museum that they’re setting up there. Bhakti Vedānta Cultural Museum exhibit. So they turned it on just to try it out. And the show that was on was a special half hour on UFO’s, which were sighted in Massachusetts, just on Rockland. And about 50 people had seen UFO’s in this one place. They took pictures of them and everything. The pictures all came out of them. I have a disciple who was in Oklahoma, UFO came right over. Instead of chanting hare Christian, they got frightened. He pulled out the shotgun. I want to do something.
What’s the shackle going to do? American mentality would have been a contact with an ET. Yeah. Right now we should promote that easy journey to other planets. People will be more. We can say easy journey to extraterrestrial. Didn’t probably say that all the planets were like inside the stem of the lotus flower. It’s not a small stem. No, man, in other words, like you saying, that’s next. So are they just like little walls inside the stem? Are they connected to a hollow stem somehow? Leaves or something? No. Lotus stem is red, is hollow. It’s knowing that the gorillas warriors, they take the lotus stem and cut it off and then breathe under the water. It’s just a hollow tube, like a straw. It’s completely hollow. That’s how the lotus stems like, is it actually a lotus flower just in and out?
I mean, we actually. Inside a lot of stuff. Where Brahma’s planet? Yeah. It’s not. It’s a subtle material. So that means the material astronomers, they can’t see it with their material. Vision. How many miles? Billions of miles. Apartheid even Lord Brahma, he went down for some 1000 years. He couldn’t find the beginning of the. He went inside, he couldn’t find these big empties. Just kept going. Everything is relative for this fly. You’re like, you know, a whole planet. Then we’re just very small compared even to the state of Tennessee. The prophet said, just as we look down on little ants or flies and see how insignificant the ants are running here and there, they’re building this little house. They’re living only a few days. There are demigods and other planets looking down on us. And how insignificant these human beings are.
By their calculation, we’re only living 25 days, 25 to 50 days. But they know that as a human, a person can actually achieve God’s realization, but the insect can’t. But compared to the. It’s almost humorous to them how the people are having their wars and just, like, going through all these things, they’re just watching. Over a period of one year, you know, they will see whole, you know, french revolution and the rise and fall and the Third Reich and the whole thing just thinking crazy. The whole american history is 200 years for them is only about one year by the time everything is relative. And then compared to them, Lord Brahma, he’s looking at them, and their one year is just like a day. Yes. When the Varṇa ashram system is reestablished, will it be that everyone will be accepting initiation and chanting?
will there be some. Everyone doesn’t have to be in this shit. That society will be organized so that everybody can practice Kṛṣṇa conscious activities. Publicly sponsored. Lord in Kulinagram said that even the pig herders, they were chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. Didn’t mention they were initiated. They were devotees. The next life, they may be initiated, or they may even, in that light, become fixed up. Is that you? I saw you in Atlanta. Now you come to Maradi. Yes, going back to Atlanta. You’re chanting now. How many times? Well, I managed 16 yesterday. Today. Make the tent. You got my postcards? No, you just got me today. Just today? Yeah. Well, I came about a week ago. Which one? Where was that one sent from? Oh, I sent one from India also. Well, the postcard was strong. We were india.
Oh, I gave it to my servant, the mail in Hawaii, and he probably forgot it. We got one from St. Paul. I think it was named Paul. I thought you’d like that. I am going to tell you that utilization of. Yeah, pretty amazing. They don’t miss an inch. They did that all by hand. How many years did it take? How many lifetimes? You can’t even. Some of it’s so steep they can’t plow with bullock. They just hoe it with their hand and make a. The rain goes on it and they make a mud plow that’s clay. Like they just plant rice up on the side of the hill like that. Some of that done by Montreal. I heard they built samples out of it. Now you know why that they’re the. Nepal’s the home of those Gurkhas. It’s pretty tough.
You really just go for a walk around the block, go around the mountain. But they have like that in South America, they have in Japan. And these are really lousy homeless in terms of drawing things. Whenever I fly over them, they always look barren. Why do you think there’s only one place I have seen a little terrorist thing around Cusco, Peru. But it’s mainly like the foothills of the Andes. The actual andes are like. They tell me that in the some seasons they grow tree. Prophets said when a mountain has no vegetation, it’s dead mountains. Mountains have souls. And if the soul leaves the mountain, the body of the mountain, then the trees die. They told me that in some seasons there is vegetation in the andes. I haven’t seen it yet. I mean, when I have flown over, maybe if I went.
I know in La Paz, Bolivia, it’s 14,000ft. They grow, it’s a plateau up there, but there’s not much vegetation. I always go, of course, in the spring and in the fall. Now is the spring coming and then in the fall is in April, May. So they say to come in June. No, in the December is the summer down there. Then it’s better. We went to this year to Tirupati for darshan of Balaji. Kṛṣṇa deity. And the whole mountain is said to be the form of Anantasaisha. And you can see that there’s a mountain with so many trees and then there’s a sheer cliff goes all the way around like the hood of Ananthesia. When Ramanuja charity came there, he refused to step on the mountain with his feet. He walked up 18 miles on his knees. He said, this is actually Seishan Tirumala.
And they thought that the deity was the deity of or something. But then he proved to them that the deity was actually Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa. So that time the deity had two arms. He asked the deity manifest two more arms. So he manifests another two arms. They worship him in the mood of Narayan but provost, he’s actually Kṛṣṇa, baby Kṛṣṇa. So they have about two to 300,000 visitors coming every day. And every person is given prashant. They give a type of. It’s called fungal rice, red dal, cashews, black pepper, very nice. Chili mustard seed, fried mustard seed. So some people wait nine to 10 hours for a darshan to see the deity of the Lord. And because they know that we are the spiritual masters, leaders of the Hare Kṛṣṇa movement. So they give us, they call it special darshan.
We get a special pass and they have a special. They have all that. They have a one queue that you pay rs25 and one free queue that you have to wait rs25 to scale that you. It only takes about an hour and a half. And they have the special darshan take you right up to the last door when you go in. They get average, about two rs300,000 of donations every day. They have built a whole special pavilion where people come and shave their hair and offer the hair to the deity. Sometimes people will say that, well, Kṛṣṇa, if you give me this, then I will shave my hair. Then when they get it, they have to go and shave their hair. Otherwise.
So the people, literally every day some thousands of people shave their hair off and they all doing it because they got whatever they wanted from Kṛṣṇa. It’s quite nice. Papa asked us to see that so we can handle the crowds. See, there’s going to be really big crowds in my airport. Yes. How many devotees actually run that place? No, you see, they have about ten to 20,000 houses for guests. Cottages, bungalows, 18,000 bungalows. And then they have several dharmshallas. Bangalores are rs25 per night for one whole house you can rent. And the Dharmchallas, they have about four or five six story dharmcellas. Those are free. Then they have some high class, air conditioned houses which normally only the vip’s get 125. Like that. They have so many varieties. They have a special house.
The president of India comes there, stays in that house and he comes. So the whole hill is nothing but this temple. It’s nothing else. The temple, the other temples and institutions connected with the temple, other sub temples and then housing it for the pilgrims. The day I was, there was a special pūjā day. So the people were lined up for about 2 miles to get in to have a deities. Darshan, it’s amazing how many people go through. I thought they were exaggerating. You know, y’all was here. But I was amazed that they weren’t exaggerating. They have. They have a light system. When you go into the temple, there’s an electronic light, digītāl computer that counts how many people are going by. So you go by, you know, just like when you go in a supermarket, there’s a light opens the door.
will they have a light hooked up? How many people are going in? They have exact count. And every day, the people are just crowding up to put their money in as a donation. The people they count up, they have about. They have a whole staff there right in front of all the people. They’re counting up the money, stacking it up, and they put it in the safe. And then the next day, first thing, the head of the temple, he has to give a report to the deity. So the deity borrowed. When he got married last, Kali Yuga, he came down and Lakshmi had a fight. She came down and he came down. So then he courted her down here. And then again, they were married. So he didn’t have any money because he just came down as it was.
So then he borrowed some money from Kuvera. And so. But Kuvera said they had to pay him back. So then what he does is he every year pays certain taxes from the collections to pay back his debt. Devotees, they’re helping him pay his debt back. Transcendental. And once a year, then he’s taken down to the temple of Lakshmi. You see, what happened was that, you know, he has. Narayan has two Lakshmi’s Nilan Bu, as well as Nilabu. And so he actually married a boo devī there. So the other Nilabu and Sree. So Sree Lakshmi, apparently, they say that she became a little bit envious, and the two wives were fighting. They used that as an excuse. He went up on the hill and became the deity. So then they became deities there just so that his devotees could worship him.
So it’s one of the seven self manifested deities india. Seven major self man. I think there’s probably more esoteric understanding of that temple. But when you hear it from the Ramanuji sampradāya, then you only get part of the story. I don’t know what Lord Caitanya would. They only take you up to Narayan understanding. Have you read some of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books? You live on a farm also? No farm. Yeah, that’s why we have made the probog, these farm communities made so that people can come and live in them, get out of the cities, live in association with nice devolves. Devotees are happy. Find them happy to. Who have you talked to so far? You had your meals? We had. Must be hungry to get me any other questions before we give out the cookies? Peacock. That’s what you call a pecan, right? Pecan. Pecan.
Sometimes a family will buy one jackfruit and they will invite all the neighbors, and then they will take it. And then they will just sit and have a big jackfruit piece. One doctor told us that if you take nine pieces of jackfruit a day, then once very skinny devotee was there, he said, you take nine pieces a day and then you will become very strong, equal to many glasses of milk. But it’s very hard to digest. So rich that it’s very hard to digest. The prophet said that Kṛṣṇa is so perfect, he makes a perfect arrangement that although the jackfruit is very hard to digest, especially if you swallow the fibers, the seed of the jackfruit has got a special juice in it which is digested.
The prophets sometimes take a whole big bowl of jackfruit fruit, and afterwards you take one raw seed and chew that, suck all the juice out of it and spit out the. And that jack, the juice from that jackpot. He said, digest the whole. Jackson the problem is there, and the solution is also there with the problem. You find india here, everything is very unnatural in the sense that you don’t know what is the seasonal fruits anymore because they just ship everything from all over the country, all over the place, but there, because they don’t have such a shipping arrangement. In the hot weather, it’s very hot. At that time, you get green mango, and sometimes people get sunstroke. So that time, the cure for sunstroke is green mango, unripe mango. So they make a special, like, lemonade from there, juice from there.
They make a type of mango. Aidan and that immediately cools your whole body down in a curious sunstroke. At just the time when it’s the hottest that time, green mangoes there. Similarly, after, when the first rains come, a lot of people start getting skin infections from the early rainy season, the humidity and everything. So there’s a type of fruit that only comes in season for two weeks. It’s a type of, that’s called kalu jam type of berry, which when you eat it, your whole tongue turns purple and it has a very astringent taste. You pucker up like alum. The western devotees, they can’t relate to it immediately. You know, it’s a very unusual taste. It’s somewhat sweet, but it’s very astringent. Call it astringent you just feel like strange.
But that purifies the blood and all these boils and type of skin diseases go away if you take that and then for the rest of the rainy season, you won’t get any problems like that. You find throughout the year that by nature’s own arrangement, there are many fruits and vegetables and things, herbs that they just come available at that time when you need. Just like in the beginning of the rainy season. The betas say one shouldn’t take any green leafy vegetables. They’re in the rainy season because at that time the worms come in the leaves microorganisms. And if you eat that, it creates a type of unfriendly flora in the body. Everything is very well organized in the vedas. Kṛṣṇa is the perfect arrangement. We just have to know how to hook into it. That will do. By hooking into Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Kīrtana, you want to leave Samadhe Saiyan sample six and 815 seven.
(Side B of the Cassette)
I think this is my first opportunity I am having to rug.
You have never been driving in our annual probe. Like, first of all, we hope you’re all bathing in the ecstasy of that ocean of Nectar that Prabhupāda has given us. Love of Kingdom Rla Prabhupāda desired that our society could have a place in the western world where people could come and celebrate the pastimes of brother and Christian. Somehow or other, he gave me the opportunity to endeavor on his behalf. Actually, so many people come up and say, oh, so much just happened. So much has been done. And I usually say, actually, we haven’t done anything. Whatever has been done, it is done simply by the mercy of Kṛṣṇa. And our purpose of the Prabhupda festival each year is to renew our vision of what Prabhupāda has given us. Prabhupda is the mercy representative of Kṛṣṇa. Everything is coming from Kṛṣṇa.
Kṛṣṇa is the doer of everything. No one can do anything but by the mercy of Kṛṣṇa. But Kṛṣṇa’s mercy can only be experienced through the bona fide spiritual mastery. So Rla Prabhat brought us the mercy of Kṛṣṇa. So our good fortune is that we have had this opportunity to experience the mercy of Prabhupda here at Nubindarban, developing this project as a place of pilgrimage, as a place where we can come and renew our vision. We are eternally servants of Kṛṣṇa. We are eternally servants of Prabhupda, who are eternally servant of our spiritual nest. I think the greatest thrill of my life is to see so many Americans, just ordinary persons, especially the elderly persons, who are coming and experiencing the mercy of power.
If some of you haven’t gotten the opportunity, I hope you do before you go home to see the busloads of senior citizens that come and take the mercy of pro alive. By offering respect to Prabhupda, by taking Prabhupāda’s Prashad, by reading Prabhad’s books, they’re giving a chance on their deathbed to perform some activity that will at least ensure that in their next life they are again human beings and a chance to become Kṛṣṇa conscious. Actually, by expressing appreciation for Prabhu and for Prabhat’s movement, their next life is guaranteed not only in human form. The prabhat emphasized that if someone will simply say, this is a nice movement or what you’re doing is nice, he is guaranteed in his next life to become a devotee. Sometimes we take great pleasure to think how many devotees there may be in a few years.
Then they give up these old and useless bodies and get a new body when they can take breath and be engaged directly in christian service. This is the real ocean. So we’re very glad you come again to see the pro bode this palace. We hope you’re comfortable. We hope you get lots of noise to show them. If anything is lacking, let us know. See the juke. Careful to deserve. Actually you deserve everything. We are your servant. Please allow us to serve. Questions now that I was with the change of the weather in the last couple of days, getting this nice. I said, this is festival weather. Nice clear sunny days and nice cold nights. That’s also.
This is mercy.
We can perform a little austerity to the form. A little austerity in the holy Dome will also help us to remember Kṛṣṇa, remember Prabhupāda, remember the austerity that he performed by coming to this dreadful part of the world, to this most sinful and degraded place, and extending his mercy to the likes of us.
Or acres.
Be happy. So I don’t think we have heard anything from truly.
As I think all of.
You know, recently our movement held, we first rode the archae in Washington DC. So on that occasion I was asked to speak to the people and I began to reflect more about Kṛṣṇa consciousness in America. This movement began in America, in Tenzat Prabhupāda’s preaching and also.
Some of the.
Stars kind freaking fields which are worldwide in this country, that one should be assigned a particular land by the spiritual master, recabu or master, and he should.
Take that Gesha or that land.
As.
The place to be saved and delivered from Naya, to go back to home, back to Garland.
Lord Caitanya, he said that the people born in Bharata or India, they had their duty to spread this teaching all over the world.
So worldwide preaching means that we have to establish permanent centers in different places and that we have to learn how.
To preach to the people of a particular land.
So.
As far as preaching in America is concerned, true, the occupied is leading.
The way with this prabhupda’s talent. Now, America is a very good place to preach, but it’s also a very.
Difficult place to preach. Śrīva PowerPoint prays that the people here were somehow pious and that they took the Kṛṣṇa consciousness. But we are also very fallen in their attachment to sin’s gratification and an illusion that they have a nice situation.
Because of their big roads and skyscrapers and their comparative wealth. There are difficulties in America and their advantages. We have a certain amount of freedom, but there’s great ignorance here, such as phenomena anti cult, which practically doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world, at least not on the skull that it does here.
But there are particular difficulties.
So it is a tough place to.
Preach.
Also, as well as being had this place, preaching in America is declining. Let us go to preach in Europe. Let us go preach somewhere else. But this is our country to preach. I don’t think. I hope it is not a material sentiment that I say. That is when those who are born in America, there is something to this sentiment as transcendental sentiment that this is our country. We should say this country. At least Paul teaches like that to us, that you and I can do something wonderful, save this country. And it was part of his tactics that America should become Kṛṣṇa conscious and demand that the rest of the world become Kṛṣṇa conscious. And that this country actually had more possibility of becoming Kṛṣṇa conscious.
But in the light of the degraded nature of the people and in the light of the poor reputation that they have driven as Kansas movement, how will we do this? How will we turn this country to become Kṛṣṇa conscious? So we say right to appreciate even if it is difficult and if it gets more difficult, this is so in this connection, this problem plans. There is a perfect example of harder.
Preach in America that attacks the brain.
And think how to break a consciousness. One time, one of the devotees asking the proper when we go into colleges and how should we priest? He said, you know that better than I. You are from those colleges. So he’d think over and do it. And his expectation that Americans can do something with their opulence and with their so called ingenuity of being born is continuity. So the brain and thinking how to preach to Americans. This thought of by palace very wonderful and all is always enjoying the results of it. If anyone has anything necessary about our movement is visually about his powers. They cannot understand exactly even what is his powers. But it is very beautiful. That is a great victory.
And worldwide preaching, of course, everyone around the world now the idea of staying here in a vacation cottage now restaurant, the arts, the gardens and those Americans who have our mind wants to become devotees.
Village.
So this is actually Prabhad’s accomplishment. Nobody else has actually demonstrated so much success as Śrīla Prabhupda has had and has kindled. Because whatever the future preaching works that go on will be a result of ISKCON’s leading the entire world in Christianity consciousness. So the future results also. That is glorification of Kṛṣṇa. So it is very pleasing to us to actually come to a place which is in the western countries, a holy tirta, just like india. There’s Māyāpur, there’s Vrindavan, there’s Bombay. All these places have our isKCON centers, and they are meant as tirtas, where so many persons can go to India and to the holy dhams and actually become advanced in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
So it is also due to the purity of the vais of Śrīla Bhaktipa that he has established this tirtha in the western countries where all of us come here and remember the accomplishments. Just remember RLA Prabhupda. To come here is actually very wonderful. Of course, we’re all working in our own ways to try and remember Prabhupāda during every moment of the day, all during the year. But it’s also very special, this new vrindaban community that here in the western countries, which are completely dedicated to so many sinful activities, cow killing, liquor shops, all these things are just on every practically block of the city streets and even in the country, all these activities are going on. No one would expect to find a tirta in the western worlds. But this is actually what Rla Bhakti para has given us.
And it’s very nice that the entire society can come here every year and glorify Śrīla Prabhupāda during this festival. So I don’t want to speak anymore, but I want to thank Rla bhaktipat for giving us this opportunity. The disciples of Śrīla Prabhup and also grand disciples, they can come here from all parts of the world and take part in remembering Śrīla promenade.
Thank you.
Literally hundreds of thousands of people are signing up to chant at least one.
Round a day of shirt.
In this way, they’re all becoming Kṛṣṇa.
Conscious and prabhupāda conscious.
We’re so happy to be with us.
Namam bhishnu padaya kṛṣṇa pristaya bhutale simate bhaktivedanta, Swami nitinamani, namaste sara sati deve gauravani pachariniya visa sunya varihdehdeh actually, when I got the phone call from Kaladri Prabhu asking me to come to the festival, then I knew that I was captured. I couldn’t turn down Bhaktipa’s request. And they know that I am always used to crowds spending so many years india. So it’s very wonderful to be, especially when there’s a crowd of so many ecstatic devotees all come together to glorify Śrīla Prabhupāda and to become enthused to preach his message with all the more determination and purity.
Actually, one can’t help but become meditative every time one comes to the Prabhupāda palace, the Nubrindavan community, of course, in 1971, when Shela Prabhupadi told me that when he first sent me to Māyāpur, he said that now I have given you the kingdom of God, now you develop it. Actually, he knew that it was never a one man job. So then he sent Bhavananda go Swami also, and he knew it wasn’t a two man job. So then he told the whole g, b, c, that they better. But I was amazed that in spite of the whole GBC that I had to mention at the opening a few years ago, in spite of the whole society working on the samadhi, still, Bhagtipad had completed Prabhupda’s palace before everyone, single handedly.
So, of course, the special significance were meditating that here in new Vrindavan, Śrīla Prabhupāda, I believe, instructed that Lord Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes are to be celebrated. Am I correct? And the fact that Sheila Prabhupda, his palace and his shrine, his temple has been erected first, is actually most appropriate. Lord Nityānanda instructed Jīva Goswami that before one can approach Vrindavan, one has to go through the mercy of Lord Caitanya. And we know that Lord Caitanya is Gauravani Pracharine. I mean, that Prabhupāda is Gauravani Pracharini, that actually he is the representative of Caitanya Mahāprabhu, who has brought Caitanya Mahāprabhu to America, to the whole world. He has even brought it back to India in its pure form. And we need the mercy of Śrīla Prabhupda to get the mercy of Lord Caitanya, to be able to appreciate the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
And by Prabhupda’s merciful glance, then all of our offenses can easily be dissolve, and then we will be able to appreciate the pastimes of Vrindavan, the Sankirtan movement of Chetanya Mahāprabhu actually being based for so many years in Māyāpur. Of course, for nine years, I never left there. So every year, when the devotees would come for the festival, it was the great reunion. And then when they would leave, it was like a vacuum. You have heard of the so called the scientists always talk about the black hole. That is what the heart felt like when all the devotees left, although were in the dam. But the heart had opened up to so many devotees that when they suddenly all went back for preaching, it was a tremendous pull. Of course, finally, that pull has brought me out. No, I can’t resist.
And by the mercy of the Vaishnavs, now I am also coming here in America and preaching, and although we are asking Indians to chant one round a day and South Americans to chant one round a day, and we’re getting very good success, I think one of the only reasons why we’re not getting a lot of results of getting people in America to chant one round a day is that we haven’t started to ask them yet. When I was in Washington, I just talked to a few young people, and I found that they were also willing to chant for ten minutes a day on an experimental basis. And, of course, see, the guru potter has hit the nail on the head that it requires a bit of faith. They have to be a little bit favorable.
And here there are negative aspects which would make some sections of the public reluctant to put that type of faith in chanting. The Prabhupda has always said that everything is in my books. But then he said he wanted to have his books practically shown. Therefore, he also started community projects, farm projects. So it’s wonderful to see simultaneously Sheila Prabhupāda’s books distributed all over the world, and to see community, especially like Nu Vrindavan, where Śrīla Prabhupāda’s teachings, as presented in his transcendental literature, is being practically shown to the western people, even to the people from India that are coming, and they’re becoming inspired. In fact, if any indian comes to America, visits Nuv Vrindavan and our temples in the west, that person, when they come back, they’re the best life members, they’re the best devotees.
Their faith has been assured for the rest of their life. When they see how sincerely the devotees are working morning till night, they come back and say that, we cannot work like that. We are not so sincere. I remember one time in our Kumbh mella, Prabhupāda pointed to one of our women, said, our women all speak Sanskrit. And there was one very big millionaire life member sitting there. And he said, really? He said, yes. He told her, you say the saṁsāra prayers. So she says, sangha sara dava nalala loka. She speaks Sanskrit. So actually, you don’t know that all of you know a little Sanskrit, know, a little Bengali. You know a lot about devotion and that will inspire anyone, regardless of caste, color, creed. And that inspiration is what we all come together for. We want to have the association of the devotees.
We want to exchange our loving feelings with them. And the upadesh Amrita it mentions, Prabhupāda said in his purport that the whole reason I have created the International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness is so the devotees can come together and exchange loving devotional exchanges. So that’s why we can’t help but be extremely grateful to Śrīla Bhakti pad for going to this tremendous effort to bring us together so that we can exchange these devotional loving exchanges and bringing ourselves together for the purpose of glorifying Śrīla Prabhupda and Lord Caitanya’s movement more and more.
And the more that we can refine this art of actually reciprocating with each other on a devotional loving platform and taking the association of the Vaishnavas and then giving that association to the innocent people who are hungry for a little happiness, a little peace, a little spiritual knowledge in their life, a little direction, then everything can only increase more and more. So, as some people may know, I spend a lot of time flying around America. So one of the things that people always ask me is, don’t you have some palace in the hills somewhere? It’s very famous, and that’s exactly appropriate. Kṛṣṇa is the most famous. Prabhupāda always said that glorify the great, you see and become great. So, because Śrīla Bhakti pod and his devotees here and Śrīlaguru pod and all the other devotees are dedicating themselves for glorifying the greatest.
Therefore, they’re all great. And people can’t help but recognize that when they come in the association of the devotees. So all I can do is, again, thank you for bringing us together. And I hope that while the devotees are here, they will take advantage of every minute of the association, spend the whole time chanting, hearing, serving, feasting on Prasadam and relishing the transcendental association of the Vaishnavas. Nubrindavan Kihe.
It’s a.
