That’s another thing. That’s the duty of Guru and Guru’s representative. So we should be very careful. And the way to avoid offenses is to remember and appreciate all the good qualities of the Lord and his devotees. Even some devotees always is a little messy. But yet he still has dedicated his whole life for spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness. So gradually he will be trained up to become NeetI. But if you see all this devotee is very messy and then you begin to envy him. When actually he’s given his life to Kṛṣṇa. That’s not appropriate. It’s not appropriate. One should hate the disease, nazi disease, Hare Kṛṣṇa, sincerely serving. Then you should love that person.

And if he still has any other defect, then you should hate the defect, not the person. If a person is sincerely chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, you should love him. You should accept him as your dear friend. And if he has any other defects, you don’t hate the person, hate the defect. This is a process for those who are initiated devotees following the principles with still some minor problems. Of course, if someone is breaking one of the four regular principles then we have to avoid the association. Unless we can actually save him. Because we may become polluted also by that material activity. A breaking principle. Just as the pure Brahmin Ajamil was fallen because of seeing illicit sex.

Remember that you represent your spiritual master, a disciple. One can know the guru by seeing his disciples. So disciples should think that according to how I act, people will judge my guru. Every disciple can bring good name to his spiritual master. Or can bring some amount of disgrace or embarrassment, shall we say so? That’s a very big responsibility that everyone has. If you feel at all appreciative of what your spiritual master has given you then you should be very careful to represent him properly. Even if you feed the dogs. They are grateful you can tame a dog just by feeding him. But there is a saying that Mandev, an evil man, he can never be tamed. Therefore, he’s lower than animal.

So if we are not able to surrender to the spiritual master even after he has given us so many mercy then we should consider ourselves to be very low. And we should try to transcend all this type of contamination by vibrating the transcendental sounds. What’s the best way we can make everyone understand the value of this process?

Well, Lord Chaitanya said, apuni achary pore damaki shikao. He said that one should teach others the eternal religious principles by one’s own example. When you show the qualities of devotion that will be very contagious and naturally, when you preach, that will have effect on others hearts. The process for making everyone appreciate is, of course, our Sankhyrtan movement. And as the individual devotees, by their own example, show that they have gradually are getting the qualities of someone in devotional service that will attract the people when they see their happy, peaceful, enthusiastic, always happy, not lamenting. Enthusiastic. So many qualities of devotee by showing that they are doing what they say. Everyone knows that in the other organized religion of the world, people say so many things, but they do opposite. So they’re always trying to see whether we also are in the same category.

When they say that actually we do what we say. Then they cannot help but appreciate. But even Lord Caitany said it was very hard for him to make the killers of the self appreciate this movement. It was even hard for Lord Caitanya to make the killers of the self appreciate this movement. But therefore, we preach to the favorable people and the killers of the self, they are swept away in the tidal wave.

You see, this is the general principle.

The whole movement is Sankhyrtan. It’s like a big Sankirtan machine. Unlimited power. You want to limit the power of that mantra. Especially it has a special power of helping one overcome all type of obstacles and offenses. Enchanting hare Kṛṣṇa, the ten offenses of the holy name that we have enchanting hare Kṛṣṇa. They are, they are hardly considered enchanting. The panchatatta, basically, they’re not considered at all by Lord Caitanya.

Mantra.

So like, Prabhupāda told Brahmananda that in Africa, he should just have the people chant the panchata mantra, the cannibals. But of course, in general, Lord Caitanya, he ordered us to chant hare Kṛṣṇa. So before we chant hare Kṛṣṇa, we chant his holy name, the Panchatatra mantra.

I don’t know if anyone’s written so even someone may not be very expert. But by distributing books then that will have the effect.
